So how is everyone doing today?
EDIT: It was boring as hell. The priest was incredibly long-winded. I fell asleep after I finished counting the pinstripes on my hat xd

And I have reason to hate Twilight for several legit reasons.
My ex was a crazy Twilight fangirl
I've met other crazy fans
The concept of a vampire romance doesn't seem interesting to me
I'm an avid Stephen King fan
Nothing personal to anyone who likes it though I suppose.

I've never seen Twilight and don't particually want to either. I've had this skin for agggeeesss. Long before Twilight came out.

I'm currently hosting a contest in the ATG clan...
I've only changed my skin twice. Once to an alien by accident when that option was first available, and once to vampire last year during the halloween event. My avi looks weird as a vampire, I don't too much care for that skin. The only one that I personally would end up using is the dark elf skin.
Anyway, be back in a few. Need food.

My reasons for hating Twilight are also legit.
1) I've read many vampire books (and romance books) that were far superior.
2) Bella's character is an insult to those who like strong (or even mildly competent) female leads.
3) Edward's character is creepy and it was extremely tiresome to hear how perfect he was, over and over and over. I like an author who has a vocabulary in the double-digits, personally.
4) A controlling many-decades-older man with super-powers (who sparkles) repeatedly saves a hapless (yet supposedly stunning and nauseatingly modest) heroine from herself and peril. Repeatedly. Oooh.
Just not my cup of tea.

Stephanie Meyer's writing style bores me shitless. She has no grasp of how to describe a scene, and in the 3 pages that I could be bothered to read no one showed any hint of character.
Peter F. Hamilton is a vastly superior author, every page paints a more vivid picture in my mind than any other author has been able to do so far.
