I've been wondering for a while now....if there's some sort of pattern to the disappearances...or maybe to what's not vanishing...
I mean, other than the fact that poor, put-upon Lex Luthor gets another shiny gold toilet seat every time someone's home vanishes. It's like an allegory for Republican America.
