*steals Baby Ree and replaces him with Jonathan for one night, who complains for 3 seconds and then sleeps like a rock for eight to twelve hours*
I miss the cuddling he used to demand. ;-; Now he doesn't like to fall asleep in my arms unless we're letting him watch Nemo near bedtime.

Meriko *steals Baby Ree and replaces him with Jonathan for one night, who complains for 3 seconds and then sleeps like a rock for eight to twelve hours* Eight to twelve hours? I don't know what I'd do with all the free time. I haven't slept more than four hours at a stretch (perhaps 5 or 6 once or twice) since the night of June 7th, 2005. Oh, how I miss sleep. And choosing when I would wake up in the morning, instead of spending each morning from six am to whenever sleepily popping a pacifier back in the baby's mouth in hopes that he'll sleep for 10 more minutes. *lol* Now that I put it that way, it sounds kind of like a snooze button.
I can't really complain though. Other than somewhat erratic sleep, he's really an amazingly good baby. He made it all the way to Wenatchee and back last weekend (three hour drive, four with a baby) with hardly a peep either way.
Edit: That, and half the reason I give in so easily is because I actually like the cuddle time. I know this period in his life is short and sweet, and twenty years from now I'll be wishing he was this age again.

Miriam The Bat What the hell is with the rolling eyes? I didn't say that a relationship should be built entirely on sex. But it IS an important part of a relationship. Our species is driven by it, and it's one of the most beautiful things two people can experience. Just because the media makes it look nasty and the church says it's wrong dosen't make it true. It IS communication of heart and feelings, and shouldn't be held back by some ancient belief that you're dirty if you have sex before signing a marriage licence. Don't be naive. I'm not telling anyone to have sex with the next six people they see, I'm just saying that if two people trust eachother, they shouldn't think they have to hold back. (I mean, Jeez, the pill is 13 bucks a pack and they give out condoms for free...)...err....but...Sex and spiritual communication are really totally different things. Meave is not saying you 'deserve to die' if you have sex before marriage. Marriage is a kind of ceremony, it doesn't really mean a thing, since there is a ;ceremony' call divorce too. *shruggs* rolleyes But Marriage can somehow act as a 'safety pill' sort of thing...blah, don't know how to explain. But if you really can't hold until marriage, then...well you might as well do then. Meave cannot control you anyway. This is just Meave's opinion. Marriage night is a pretty night, sex can also be wonderful if you do it under a very good background as in marriage and atmosphere. (Meave don't know whether it is true or not, lol, it makes a man somehow proud if their wife is a virgin, now DON'T kill Meave! Meave didn't come out with this all by herself, Meave read it on several novels...) By the way, it is still a kind of love and respect if you hold until you have the 'qualification'(meh. XP)
On conclusion, if you really do love each other and trust each other, why not wait? If you really love him/her, there is no reason why you can't be patient.Oh...Meave don't think sex is dirty, but...it is still a private business. rolleyes ninja rolleyes better white it off.
