Cass yelped, obviously startled. "Hello..." she replied nervously, as she inched along the wall, away from him. Her feet were on tip toe ,and hands splayed out against the wall behind her. It was really a stance that showed off all that was she.

"I will not hurt you." Shadow said slowly, "Just getting something to drink before I go on my way." He told her. He wondered how a mask that covered only half his face could hide his identity, but the past week made him realize that apparently not many people recognized each other by their jawlines. Not even... her.

"I um..." she continued to inch away, but paused, as she looked him over. He was pleasant to look at, and his eyes seemed so distinct. He was so familiar.... "Sorry to intrude.." was all she managed to choke out, even though it was technically more her place to stay than it had been his.

Shadow arched an eyebrow, though she couldn't see it behind his mask. "Not intruding." He insisted, walking a little closer, "No need to run away. Like I said, I will not hurt you."

Her skin had goosebumps as he neared, and she shrugged. "I um.. Okay then." was all she could think of, as she stood flat footed, and her arms hung loosely at her sides.

"Do you need help?" Shadow asked, extending his hand, "Oh, I am the Shadow Glider... Or so they all call me, anyway." He introduced with a sweeping bow.

"N-no, not really.." she said, and laughed a little at his bow. With a mock-curtsie, she smiled. "I am whomever." she said, not disclosing her 'alias'. In an instant, she was replaced by a beauty of a geek-y girl, who had chin length black hair, bright g reen eyes and square black framed eye glasses. "Annalise, is my favorite." she said, happily.
"I was just going for a stroll, that's all..." she said. It would be easier if he thought she were Annalise.

Shadow stood back up and walked closer so they were comfortable conversation length apart. "Revealing yourself so soon? I do not know much about superhero-ing yet, but I thought that was supposed to be... secret." He said, quite obviously fooled.

"I am not really active in my superhero-ing anymore. As you so blatantly put it.." she said, with a small smile, as she crossed her arms across her small frame. "So I supposed it wouldn't matter if you knew who I was or not. I hardly every have to phase into my skin.. so... I hadn't prepared on anyone being out here."

Shadow nodded, "I considered letting people know who I was, but... I really hate this publicity, you know? I want to be Shadow Glider on my own time." He said, adjusting his glove a little.

"I know what you mean." she said, laughing. "I was alright in my time." with a small laugh, she looked at the ground. "Well, I suppose I'll continue with my walk now..." she said, smiling shyly at him.

Shadow smiled and waved, "I will see you around, then." He said, completely oblivious if she wanted him to walk with her. "Safe trip, too. Or," He chuckled, "I might have to save you."

"Well how about this..." she said, walking over to him, and linking her arm in his. "Why don't you walk me, and prevent the needing-to-be-saved part?" she suggested, with a small laugh.

Shadow opened his mouth a little, then closed it, "I suppose that would not hurt." He said, knowing his powers would alert him if anyone in the area were in trouble. Just as long as it didn't last too long.

In her casual clothes, Cass came down the stairs, having returned a while ago from her walk. She changed 'people' while upstairs, and was glad that no one else had seen Annalise. Too much explaining for such a simple thing. Her blue hair was tied back loosely at the nape of her neck, and her smile was ever evident and content. Seating herself at a table, she lounged back, and examined the place.
