I think its because they just aren't pleasant to look at perhaps? Dirty people sweating in usually desert places ( like the west whee ). I dunno *shrugs* im not a huge fan of the stories either. I'm not sure I am particularially interested in any films set back in the old horse and cartr days no matter if its a western, British film, australian film etc. Kinda like how medievil times dont interest me too much either.

But Lazarus, the stories aren't about sweaty guys on horses, they are about exacting personal revenge in the lawless area that was the Untamed West! And you have to admit, the dusters and hats are an awesome combination.
