Ru nodded and her eyes instantly softened. A small smile formed over her lips as she walked over to Cass, "What are you working on?" She asked as she folded her hands in her lap.

"A few humorous things. So I can smile later." she replied, laughing a little bit, and her ears dropped a little bit, as she relaxed. "I need a good hug." she said, not counting Tomo's sympathy hug a 'good' hug.

"Would you like a hug?" Ru asked as if she were retrieving a glass of water for Trian. She was more like a pet than a person.

She shook her head with a warm smile. "No, I think it is a different sort of thing I am looking for." she explained, brow furrowing. There was not really a correct way to explain that she was missing a man in her life, so she just shrugged.

"I will." Cass replied, and yawned. It had been a while since she had gone out just to go out and be looked at. She almost missed it. But with the way the muffin had been dying down, yet so busy at the same time, it was hard to decide to do much of anything anymore. She sighed and walked to one of the couches, and lounged on it, leaving her notepad and pen at the bar.

Cass's mind raced like a love-stricken teen. But, the problem was, she didn't know if she liked Tomo, or just the idea of being near a guy. It could all be very terrible if it was the latter of the two. It would end fast and hard, like most of her relationships had. Even her marriage... but no one here knew that, and she thought it best that it ought to stay that way.

Baizou walked downstairs with an curious fuschia spell book in his hand, "Oh, good evening, Cass." He greeted, not realizing he was breaking such deep thinking. He sat down by the fireplace and propped his legs up. "I am sorry. I suppose I should have asked if you wanted anything."

"Don't worry about it.." she managed to say, words barely breaking out and in through her thoughts. "El will be back from town soon, if you didn't know.." she added, eyes a little unfocused, and hands laced behind her head.
