DREAM fight Darth, DREAM fight!
You argue the physics of punching a lightning bolt aside yet you seem okay with Omi descending from the sky via a black parachute before defeating your deranged motorcycle-lugging doppleganger in one hit to the face?!
Also Benjamin - I enjoyed my fight with you, but I think your main issue was that Omi had a good grasp of the situation at the onset, and while I agree you needed to near him to inflict damage - you did so at a reckless pace, which ended up costing Benjamin in a variety of manners, be it stamina, positioning, you name it. You went too all-out and fell into Omi's trap far too quickly, even going so far as to ditch what could've been a deadly weapon without enough thought behind it.
If you hadn't tried to cover so much space with so many blasts in rapid succession, and if you hadn't been so eager to dump out all your metaphorical ammunition so quick - you could've gotten closer with a lot less hassle, forced Omi into an awkward-for-him melee scenario with the knife in tow, etc.
Still - I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect from you, but you ended up doing pretty well in general. /gg and what not.

Thanks to Arian, Reyin has now built up an immunity to your lightning attacks.
Also punches.
And puncture wounds.
And blunt trauma to the head.

LuvMonke Or you could go for a dagger reined in by a thin metal bar made of a metal which expands quickly under the right temperatures. Then just have said metal exposed to flesh, burn it when you wanna use it and stop when you don't so that it can cool and retract. Or...have one reigned in by a small snake which you grow or shrink when needed.
Now, the second one.. That's possible. But if Omi got pretty roughed up, his "thrusting" strength with it would diminish; more useful would be something that once triggered, would slam forward at a set amount of force.
Perhaps in a combination of these premises lies a useful triggering mechanism. But I'll need at least one tasty snack before I see what.

Yeah, I did do it against X.
In a storm, Deitric would have let himself get struck by the lightning. It would cause immense self harm in return for an astoundingly large energy pool, so for about five-six posts (after which he would probably be unable to fight), he would be like a human wrecking ball.
That shoots lightning.
You think about that for a few seconds. A wrecking ball that shoots lightning.
It's like Kung-Fu Grip Abe Lincoln.

He would catch fire, actually.
Hence, immense self damage. He'd be half fried himself, his jacket on fire, and bleeding/flaking burnt skin everywhere.
