I've decided to start fishing, so I was wondering...what is the best rod to use? I know they're all good for different things, but by overall preference, which do you think is the best? sweatdrop

I know they're all good for different things, but by overall preference, which do you think is the best? sweatdrop I say buy a Basic Rod and fish a few times. If you have the biggest problem with fish escaping just as you reel them in, buy a strength rod. If you have a problem with them escaping just as you catch them, buy a distance rod. If you have problems with both, buy a performance rod. If you have no problem... stick with the basic rod and upgrade. wink

Mellikor Phoenix315 O_O Either there's really no trash in Durem...or I suck just enough to lose almost every bit I come across. Trash changes directions really slowly, so it's actually harder to catch than fish, in a way. Thanks for making me feel better about my "all boot" bucket... I think. I wish I could trade junk in too...

Peppermint Elf stick with the basic rod and upgrade.It's 10k for a little extra space, and from my experience it doesn't make much of a difference. =/
