The enemy seemed to have forgotten the one crucial benefit of close formations, they made the forces contained within them mutually supporting. By directing their attack on a single element of the formation the enemy had made themselves vulnerable to the entirety of the formation. That meant that the Nemesis-class Destroyers saw a blanket of targets before them, and their gunners eagerly lined up their sights.
The first volley the Nemesis-classes fired came from their secondary weapons, the trench guns which while significantly less powerful then the main batteries were more then enough to decimate their targets. The blaze of fire lanced out into the frigates that had moved up to engage, the direct fire of the turbolasers decimated the lancers and crusaders. Within seconds half of the frigates in the enemy formation were in flames, burning from hundreds of turbolaser wounds. Then the Nemesis-class ships switched targets as the main batteries blazed with turbolaser fire. Within seconds twelve more Victory IVs and Acclamators were burning in space.
The Stalwarths waltzed out from the protective cover of the Nemesis Destroyers, with a flash each launched a volley of Ion-Pulse and Mag-Pulse Missiles. These lanced toward the enemy, tearing away the shields and blowing out ship systems. The mag-pulse warheads hit dozens of the enemy destroyers, taking each temporarily out of the fight by disabling their targeting and weapon systems.
Borill watched the Destroyers rip into their foes, "Alright, Starfighter control, execute."
The formation of starfighters that Borill had kept in reserve forming up for a strike were now cut loose. They shot forward toward the enemy like a spear. There were three Vengeance II-class Star Cruisers's worth of starfighters in the formation this meant that the boiling mass contained six wings worth of T-97s and twelve wings worth of Predators, This meant that over a thousand starfighters were driving toward the enemy formation.
As they passed the Beldons and Pelleaons the big ships opened fire destroying nine more hostile destroyers. But the destroyers and frigates were not the target of the starfighter attack.
Borill nodded, "Their forces are crumbling, signal the carriers and have them activate their gravity wells. We may have taken damage to our interdiction frigates but I'd like to see them try and take down a protected Vengeance." Borill turned, "Kusei, alert your fellows and have them stand by. Is the Chimaera virus in place?"
"Yes Admiral, it only needs the final signal."
"Good, we'll want to use it when his back is up against the wall so we can seperate him from his forces, then you can launch your little operation."

Kaze-Kage Daisuko Jaden nodded, "Yes my master," he said and then followed the cropwd of soldier and got a ride to the barracks. *** After finding his room, Jaden sighed as he changed his clothes and layed on his bed, relaxing, but remembered what he had to do. Jaden accesed the information he had recived, and began to train slowly, but hard. He spent atleast half the night learning basics of Hijkata, and Juyo, and slowly learning more and more. By the time he was done he was a sweaty mess and decided to decided to take a nice long rest, and would await to be awakended when needed.

During the battle, Elladan watched as his fleet was battered and battered. Things went from bad to worse, and his forces were nerely late. However, he had worse issues to worry...
Then, without warning, he felt a surge of intuition through his mind, as if he'd had an epiphany. What if the traitor were aboard the ship?
Finally, Elladan figured it out. While the battle raged around him, leaving Sven as commander, the chiss quickly poured through the ship's records, tracking through the entire crew. He searched for minutes, until he found the right source.
One of his crew was a mis-print in the records. Evidently, the crew member in question had recreated an indetity for use on the ship, but there was also an attached ID. Looking through it, he realized the dates didn't match up. He'd found his spy.
His own comm officer. He couldn't believe it. He'd trusted the guy for months, almost years. He was one of the humans on Wayland with him, but his records were never in question before now. He couldn't believe how obvious it was. The Mandalorians had been keeping tabs on him all this time, before they were even allies, and this particular Mandalorian was none other than a Maki. There was little proof, but more than enough to convince him. The evidence was overwhelming, and he had little choice.
Without second-thought he turned back to the bridge and walked up to the guard. Detre, who hadn't been able to launch yet, had by now come up, and had assessed the situation. "Out of you posssst."
The comm officer looked up, as if distracted. His eyes darted cooly back to the battle. "sir?"
"You're being relieve of your post," Elladan answered. "Now."
The man shook his head, and made a move to draw his weapon, but he was dead before his hand touched his hidden disruptor. Detre's knife was shoved straight through his heart.
"Sven, call back the line, bring them behind the station. Cut-off the communication hub from us, and transfer it to the Wayland Station. We've been out-sourced. Have the ships rely on the new comm hub for orders. Keep contact from us to a minimum..."
He turned to Detre. "scan the systems. The Mandal hardware we've been using has likely tapped have of our relays since the battle began. tell the Mandalorians too, and take the measures needed to isolate and disable the signals."
~
The battle was already underway when Kathleen finally settled completely into the Force, and was able to fully concentrate. Stretching out, she spread her power as best and warmly as she could. Their people had been suffering so far, but she could slowly feel things improve.
But through the improving moods and attitudes of the nearby crew, she felt one waver. At first, she couldn't explain it. battle Meditation was supposed to empower all their allies to perform much better.
Until she realized: the person she felt was an enemy. A traitor.
Shr quickly focused her power into the chiss commander, trying to warn him of the danger, but immediately turned back as she felt the strain on everyone else. she had a job to do.

As Vernos and Haldir quickly made there way to the shuttles, everyone already loaded. As the two shambled into the shuttles, the hatchs closing. The other two shuttles had taken off now, and the last, loaded with Ginger, a few of hers, Luger and now the other two lifted off and left the ship.
"Yah set dem bombs we brought?" Luger asked from the co-pilots seat. Vernos nodded and took a heavy plung down onto one of the seats in the shuttles. Ginger walked on over to Luger, resting a hand on his great broad shoulder, her eyes peering out the front viewport of the craft. Haldir cleaned some of his more stained blades in the back of the shuttles hull.
Luger grabbed up the comm."Ballet, dis is Luger an' company, 've set det's on teh ship timed ta blow soon. Get as far 'way as possible."

As they all pulled away, it seemed like Ginger's man had whiped Lynchs fighters into nothing.
As various areas of Lynchs ship, the det's counted down their final seconds of existance, and soon them, and the enitire ship would be torn to shreds but the massive explodsions.

And so, the flagship of Roman Lynch was disintegrated in a flurry of explosions.
"Like, was that you dudes, Luger?" Freya called out to the others. She then commed Gunther and Kalnar. "Ok, assuming the safehouse is, like, even totally safe anymore, let us boogey on over there, and plan our next move," she said.
"Time is of the essence," Gunther replied to his sister. "We can plan our next move there,"

The Chimaera Virus, a self replicating computer program... one that could not be easily removed let alone detected unless a direct line by line examination of the computer code could be made, no outsider was required for it to function once it had infected its first host, and once it had spread to those it deemed its targets it lay dormant awaiting a signal.
Kusei herself had slipped it and the ghost programs into the comm system used by Elladan Kenet's Mandalorians some weeks before breaking their encryptions had been easy, and let it spread from there, jumping from ship to ship as information was relayed throughout the fleet. By the time the battle had been joined it had infected almost every ship, every starfighter, and every station within Elladan Kenet's Empire. But it hadn't yet been triggered.
Onboard the two Canderous-class Star Frigates that Imperial and Mandalorian forces had captured a buzz of activity erupted as twelve small robotic spiders slipped out of their host's airlock. These Dral'biskar'strill or Bright Metal Strills were one fo the Maki clan's unique toys. They each possessed a pilot and AI, and the capability of independent action without the pilot. The Metal Strills sat on the side of their motherships, protected by their shielding and distance from the enemy. Inside the tiny cockpits the pilot's mind and AI were seemingly fused as each worked off the other, the AI supporting its pilot as a pet might provide moral support to its owner. Each Cyber-commando within their vehicle was tense, and some even felt a hint of fear, but for them fear was just another part of life, an element one lived with. Now as the two Canderous-class Star Frigates began to accelerate the pilots settled in to wait.
The starfighter attack shot through the now battleragged starfighter screen and wove around the constant fire from ships of all types. The massed volley took out whole squadrons, but the weight of the attack was to much to be repelled. As the blasted through the final defensive screen that surrounded the target the T-97s rolled into attack position and lit up their targeting systems. There the converted super-freighter that was the enemy's largest capital ship lay before them, it's massive hanger bays opening to launch even more enemies into the fray.
More T-97s had gotten into weapons range then anticipated, and the Starfighter Controller's voice crackled across the comms, "Attack Force Alpha, switch to single fire mode. It's a converted freighter not a Pelleaon. Once Primary is destroyed engage targets of opportunity."
The T-97 RIOs knew their jobs, with a flick of the switch their weapon systems switched from dual fire to single fire mode. Each one selected a Plasma Torpedo and settled his sights on the enemy. Then in a ten second period they fired.
Four-hundred and fourteen T-97s had been part of the attack, around twenty percent of the force had been eliminated on the way in. That left three-hundred and one T-97s attempting to launch. Within those ten seconds over three hundred plasma torpedoes dropped from the bombers and shot toward the target. The Super-freighter didn't stand a chance. The great circular shape of the vessel and its enormous size had been its primary defense, but nothing short of a planetary shield would have haulted such a volley, and within seconds the brilliant blue white flashes of Plasma Torpedo strikes lit up the battlefield. The Freighters reactors cooked off a second later, blowing the ship in two and sending both pieces hurtling through space. One piece struck a luckless Canderous-class Star Frigate doing considerable damage.
Borill smiled, "Excellent. With most of their ships under mag-pulse bombardment the enemy's ability to retaliate in kind will be sporadic at best. Their formation is shattered and crews must be close to exhaustion, even with Battle-meditation." He grinned at Kusei, "Now we remove the enemy from command. Execute the Chimaera."
Kusei sent a simple nine digit code in the clear, and the Chimaera virus awoke from its slumber. It did what any virus does when activated, it created havoc. Since it was buried in the comm systems one would think it could create little damage, but the reverse was true, in a space battle communications was everything. The virus did two things, wiped the IFF codes on every one of the vessels it had infected, and secondly it replaced every transmission that went through the comm with one of a random sequence of numbered digits.
Ships couldn't report status, issue or take orders, or even identify friend from foe with the elimination and scrambling of the IFF transmitter. The Predator fighters which EK and many of his pilots relied upon suddenly became almost useless, pilots couldn't rely on IFF transponders to tell which predator was friend and which a foe. They had to wait for visual identification to ensure they didn't kill one of their own which in a starfighter dual was next to impossible.
Then the virus sat there, like a lion guarding a kill automatically blocking and locking out attempts to access the system. This meant the only way for the virus to be removed was to conduct a ship system shut down a process that would take at least fifteen minutes.
Suddenly, inexorably, Elleden Kenet was no longer in command instead the entire armada was placed in the hands of a Dathomiri witch who had never fought a battle in space before.

"Sir, e've got a complete comm shutdown!" the new comm officer called as the virus disabled everything larger than personal radios. "Everything's been locked out!"
"Krayt ####!" he'd expected something like this, but this was devastating. He was suddenly without that which would help him most. "What about the Mandalorian?"
"Unknown, sir. The traitor was a Maki, most likely. The whole system's likely infected."
He cursed out loud, knowing that not only was his carrier gone, so were most of his ships. "What do we have?"
"The system's locked out. No ship-to-ship communications are possible, we can't increase, decrease, or change frequencies."
"Whatss aboutss the comlinkss?" Detre asked.
Elladan looked at him. "The Personel colinks?"
"They wouldn't be effected, would they? Mossst of them are ssset to sscertain channelsss in conjunction with their resspective commandersss."
"He has a point," Sven answered. "Comlinks are only for relays from soldiers nand pilots to their leaders."
"Couldn't we jusst relay orders through the comlinkss?" the noghri asked.
Elladan looked at Sven, never imagining the idea could be possible. "Is it possible?"
"Actually, yes," the captain answered. "We'd have to use your radio to contact the other ship captains listening in, and relay orders through their radios to everyone down the line. The only problem is that it's useless unless they have their radios turned on and on our frequency, and the reaction times will be down."
"Sso we could do it if the other captains had their radioss on our frequenccy and could relay the orders?"
"It wouldn't help the fighters, much," Elshae'k pointed out. "Especially the Predators. Without their IFFs, they can't tell friend from foe hardly."
"Then we might need to draw them back," Sven answered. "At least into defensive range. The Lancers can still identify and target enemy Predators, so we can use them to eliminate the threat."
"Have it done then." The chiss handed off his radio to the new comm officer, who then relayed orders to all listening captains and so on down the line. If they were lucky, 70% of reaining forces would be able to get the necesary messages. "What about the virus?"
"Not much we can do now," Sven answered, while conversing with the senior Tech Officer. "Quarantine would require a complete system shutdown and fifteen minutes, which is out of the question. We'd then have to create a new program that hasn't been infected and carries the proper shielding software to get into the systems and disable the virus, and then we'd need another program just to remove the virus from all of our hardware. The Network would be busy for weeks."
"Weeks we don't have," the chiss answered. "But it is possible. Thank you, Lieutenant." He turned back to Sven. "Then we just have to hope for the best activate the LT Transverter."
The man stared at him. "Sir?"
"Activate the device."
"But they know the codes! You said so yourself!"
"The captain iss right, Lord Chisss," Detre commented. "It would be wise..."
"Do it anyway," he ordered, hoping his intuition and gambit were paying off. "It's our best hope."
The captain sighed and gave the order to activate the device. The LT Transverter was immediately activated, but what none knew, was the device did send out the right signal, and every ship in the area just happened to be shielded by the signal.
The only problem was, it wasn't an EMP signal. At least, not a real one. Only Elshae'ken'etnuruduo knew that the LT Transverter he'd just had activated was a fake.

Onboard the Hector's Shield the sensor officer blinked at his display, "Sir, we've just detected activation of the LT Transverter."
Borill nodded, "Shields?"
The officer at that post blinked, "Holding... thats odd."
Borill stood, "What is it Lieutenant?"
"We're not registering any strain on the shields at all sir. If the LT Transverter works the way we think it does we should at least see some stress on our shielding."
And deep frown crossed the Bothan's face, "Interesting, do you think the Transverter currently being used is a fake? Or have we been duped some other way?"
"No way to tell for sure sir," The Officer answered.
"Alright, All Stalwarths target the hostile Nemesis. Commence Ion Bombardment. Kusei, have your troops begin their op."
"Already on it sir," Kusei answered grimmly as the two Canderous-class Star Frigates accelerated on the display.
All around the battlefield the Stalwarth-class Missile Destroyers had launched another volley of missiles, these were Ion-Pulse Warheads, and they streamed in toward a variety of different targets. Ships that had closed to engage were given a full blast of ion energy, and other vessels would recieve a sprinkling of warheads. But the Nemesis bore the brunt of the attack. Ions shot into the ship, cutting down its shields and sending brilliant blue-white electricity skittering across the hull. The ship tumbled forward, apparently out of control and all its weapon batteries were silent.
That didn't mean it was defenseless however, the two Victory IVs that had been the guardians of the command ship accelerated as they saw the two Canderous-class Star Frigates speeding toward their command ship. The moved before them into a blocking position.
Then the Canderous-class ships fired their primary weapon, two golden beams of light split the Victories in two, destroying them outright.
Onboard the two ships the twelve Metal Strills prepared themselves. In the cockpit pod of one of them the mission commander tightened his hands over the controls, in his mind he sent out a simple message to Kusei, "Zeito here, grapplers ready."
"Roger, execute now."
Within a mere second the twelve Metal Strills activated a pair of turrets upon their pods and targeted the ship. A volley of magnetic grapples shot out and latched onto the Nemesis. Then the Metal Strills shot from the Canderouses, they swarmed onto the hull of the Nemesis. Their magnetic feet latching onto the hull. With that done the magnetic grapples released from their points and the spiders reeled in the line. Now grappled to the ship Zeito glanced at his displays and smiled, "Alright, we're at the base of the command tower, moving upward."
The twelve Metal Strills climbed up the tower and then three stopped, one level below the bridge. On the opposite side three more stopped and at two points above the bridge. Smiling coldly Zeito activated the cutting torch of his vehicle and sliced through the hull. Within a moment a four meter plug shot out of the Nemesis, propelled by the air escaping. With a swift movement the Strills slipped into the Nemesis and sealed the holes behind them. Zeito smiled coldly as he sent another message to Kusei, "In position."

Instantly the alarms went off, but by now, it was too late.
For Borrill.
Out of the flank, a sudden hyperspace burst saw a single, agins ISD enter the field, apparantly dilapidated, but in truth state-of-the art and completey upgraded to modern standards. A split second later, an EMP shot from the ship in all directions, eclipsing the bulk of Borrill's fleet, and just barely out of range of Kenet's fleet. The radius was so close, had it been a few seconds earlier, it would have nailed the strills.
As it was, none of the ships in the area were shieded against its effects, but it was far enough from the defensive line to only have minimal effects on them.
As for the fleet, being as close as they were, their ships suddenly found themselves without power, and carreening into each other. Once mighty Nemesises, Revenge IIs, Pellaeons, Beldons, and Stalwarths suddenly bobbed and spun, ramming into each other, and suddenly under the fire of what few defenders were left. The effect was perfect, however. Due to their close proximaty, the entire formation was colliding upon and destroying itself, doing the job for Kenet's forces. In mere moments, no less than fifteen destroyers were ablaze, damaged, and destroyed, and countless support craft and fighters were caught being crushed by the huge ships.
Then, to cap it off, three massive transports of unknown design appeared, and unloaded several ships from their bellies; no less than a hundred. All of the ships screamed forward, torwards the back of the fleet, and found their targets: the Pellaeons and Revenges, including the Hektor's Shield. In no time, they collided, and forced their way into the ships, unloading their cargo.
They were ram-ships, manufactured by some other designs, and carrying tens of thousands of cloned Mandalorian Elites. Each Elite was equipped with an Environmental Suit, disruptors, melee weapons, blaster rifles, power gauntlets, and heavy blasters, and many brought along other weapons, including portable turrents, battle droids, and even a few rebuilt basilisks.
It was all done near perfectly, and all thanks to a Dathomiri with by the name of Kathleen.
Elladan, however, had much more pressing matters, now that his enemy was quite preoccupied. "Report!"
"We have several intruders throughout the ship!" Sven called. "Maki design. Looks like Metal Strills."
"Activate all defenses, and up the patrols to the designated areas. Seal off the blast doors, and activate ray shields when possible." He turned to Detre. "I'm trusting you can handlethis. You might be in over your head. These are quite powerful."
"I can handle them," he assured. "I jussst might need Kathleen'ssss lightsssaber."

((s**t... How the hell did you build so many rammships! They cost as much as an ISD! There's no way you can capture my ships, they've all gut a full crew compliment and large formations of Stormtroopers aboard. So now both are fleets are disabled and floating in the middle of space!))
Zeito frowned as he pulled himself from the rear pod, "Alright, you know the drill."
The AI answered in a high pitch voice, "Gotcha, alright boys we'll show them how a proper boarding party works!"
"Wait for the signal," Zeito answered as the other Mandalorian Cybercommando in the formation pulled himself from the Metal Strill giving the AI complete control of his unit. Zeito nodded to his compatriot, "Alright." Then he activated his cybercomm, "Attack in three seconds."
As the seconds counted by the Metal Strills wobbled from side to side, displaying nervous tension. The Strill leveled its nose blaster cannon at the wall and fired. The wall fell away, but before the debris had cleared all five warriors, metal and Mandalorian, had shot through the breach. The emerged in the crew pit of the bridge, and opened up killing the stunned soldiers and crewman. From above them another wall blew open and five more warriors entered. Then from the other side two more holes blasted in, and ten more warriors leapt inside. The officers dove for cover as the strells opened up with blaster fire and flamethrowers.
At the room's center Elladan Kenet and Detre turned in shock. As the Noghri rushed forward with a knife in hand to defend his leader a Metal Strill leapt into his way and shoved one of its grasping arms into the small warrior. At the arm's center the flamethrower activated and the noghri wrinthed as flames engulfed him. Unfazed the Metal Strill tossed the dieing Noghri aside.
The mandalorian aides rushed forward grabbing for weapons but were mowed down as Zeito grabbed his Stokhi Spraynet Gun and lifted it to his shoulder with a puff the net reached out as Elladan Kenet turned to run for cover. It caught him full on, blasting him with electricity and knocking him out. Smiling coldly in his helmet Zeito stood over the unconscious form of the enemy leader, "Put him in a Strill, we'll head back to the Canderous."
The Mandalorians he'd chosen lifted the man that represented the war which they were now engaged in and tossed him inside the back pod of a Strill. Without cyberization from the Maki clan there was no way for him to escape or operate the vehicle. Smiling he keyed his cybercomm, "Kusei, Mission Accomplished." There was no answer, and the expression on his face changed, "Kusei?" He glanced to the others, "Hurry up! We may have just taken their leader but even a headless snaek can kill!"
* * *
Onboard the Hektor's Shield Borill snarled in frustration, "Damn it! Where did he get such forces!" Still he knew full well what he'd decided would be his response to a boarding assault and every unit within his personal command had been drilled for counter-boarding. Those other formations were now beyond his control, but even with thousands of mandalorians there were tens of thousands of soldiers on some of their targets, the Pelleaons alone carred more then ten times the number of total boarders. Still it would be a fight.
The use of the Transverter had even been something of a blunder, it disabled the internal systems of the ships but it had never occured to the assaulting group that a fleet in battle would have all its doors closed, this meant that in order to access a critical system the boarders would have to cut through hundreds of doors, and that would take hours, perhaps even days.
And he'd taught his soldiers to think, and he'd shown them some counterboarding tricks, and that alone meant they'd be in bad shape.
On the darkened bridge Kusei wretched in her helmet and pulled it from her head. Her movements seemed twitchy, spasmic. It had never occured to him before that the Transverter was a threat to her. She toppled to the floor and Borill rushed to her side, "Kusei!"
He pulled the helmet from her head and her eyes fluttered, "Dar'manda!" Her eyes rolled in her skull and Borill could see that her pulse was unbalanced and jumpy, "Damn... damn..."
Borill's mind rushed to what medical training he had, "Alright we'll take care of you. Glancing around the bridge, "Anyone here have recent med training!"
