"News flash: We ain't normal students..." Asuka just shook her head and left the room, not saying anything to Vain nor Elise.

"Damn, why do kids have to be so difficult?" He looked to Elise who just shrugged. "It's your turn to be the parent, I need to go get my body, or a temp one." Vain walked through the wall of the school and left, heading a random direction, leaving Elise chasing after Asuka.

"So, you've grown." Elise smiled as she caught up to Asuka.

"I'm surprised you even know me with this aged of a body, didn't you kill yourself before you saw me?"

"Yes... but I've been watching you for some time, and i know what you've been upto, and the confusion you have." She wrapped an arm around her daughter and pulled her in for a big hug. "You got your fathers attitude, so I know better then to press you to much, but please, I know you still love us, dispite the fact you feel like we both just abandond you, just do what you feel is right." Elise released the hug and started to walk away, but left Asuka with one more line of wisdom. "And because you got your fathers attitude, I know you've been trying to rush things with that Koori girl, just ease up and try not to do it on the first date!"

The bell rang and Izumi left class, meeting Bardok at his locker. "With bro and sis back, things will start to feel normal again."

"Yea, or it could make things worse then they were. There's somethign that's bothering me..."

Izumi arched an eyebrow. "What?"

Bardok leaned against his locker, cracking his neck. "What's going to happ to Vain when/if he does get his body back? Kyros has already been in it, and obviously is controling it, by leaving behind a small essence of his soul in it. What if Vain gets it back, but Kyros' essence curropts Vain... again?

"That's true... Vain has always been easily suseptible to mind control and curruption..."

"I guess I can. Not much has happened really. We just unified Lower towns gangs. But there are always those who want to stir up trouble. Its bothersome having to put down revolts from people who just do it to cause trouble."

He leaned back in his chair and looked up at the ceiling.

Kyosuke just sat waiting for information on this tournament.

Asuka walked over to her locker, grabbing her books, then headed for Koori's locker to wait for her.

"We got break now, sweet. Let's go and find bro."

"I'd rather not, he's got a lot to do right now, why bother him?

Kyosuke nodded to Honey.

Koori was already outside in the courtyard laying down on a bench.

Cosmona smiled "Our first objective, here, is the setup of the tournament. It will comprise of four teams of four people each. One team has already come forth, a woman named Olivia has graciously agreed to be a part of the tournament, she is very rich, and her three sidekicks make up her group, the Bootyful Quartet.Her aura is quite interesting, and she seems to be very powerful, so we shall see.. Moving on, the teams will compete in a 3-part competition, consisting of tests of Mind, body, and Soul; First, all the teams will be sent to Valde Aequus, and to move on to the next part of the competition, the teams must use their abilities of knowledge, logics, and reasoning to survive. Once a team has reach the end of the trials of Mind, a representative Judge will send them to the next part. This will be the trials of Body, and the teams will be now marooned on Verus Pondera, where many trials will play on the teams' abilities of survival, cooperation, and endurance. Once a team has come to the end of these trials, another representative Judge will send them to the final portion of the Tournament, the Test of Soul. Vercundus Pectus is where this will be held, in the Colossus of the Ancients, the teams will go head to head in an all-out battle tournament, which will be overseen by a final set of Representative Judges. The identities of the Judges is currently confidential and I cannot give the information while two of the cometitors for the tournament are present." She stopped a bit as Lino brought them the pitcher of alcohol. She took a sip went on "This brings me to my final point for now, there have been sixteen competitors included on the roster for the Tournament, and I will name them off: Tony O'Connor, Asuka Ziler, Xiaeriene Catalyxe, Xiaedessa ahnthros, Hikaru and Haruko Tsubo, Irachu of the Terrens, Koori Kagurazaka, Coach Guraha Nesh, Noob Saibot of Netherrealm, and the two of you, Honey Kisaragi and Kyosuke Konno. The Bootyful Quartet consists of Miss Olivia Velva, Marguerita Woopi, Burgundy Lister, and Vaadka Stella. Each team will have to work together to the best of their abilites, and fighting amongst each other is not a good idea, as the rules are very mild, and teams can kill each other if they choose to do so. There will be no cheating, a special barrier is being conjured up by all of the Priests of the Ancients, and it will prevent teleportation of any form, the opening of portals and gates, ESP and telepathics of any form and levitation or flying of any sort. Without these, the competitors will be forced to rely on their bare essentials, and make the most of their raw abilites, and this includes obtaining nourishment such as food and water, yourself." She downed her drink "Any questions?"

"Sounds like it's gonna be fun."

He said blandly. He shifted his weight backwards and to the right and balanced on the very edge of the corner of one foot of the chair.

Koori sat up like she was gonna leave. Just as she did her left arm shot out and grabbed Xiaeriene by the tender front part of her throat and pulled her about one inch away from her face. Her grip was like a vice, digging in every move Xiaeriene made.


"Guess what? It's mine. Now get your ugly face out of my sun."

She hauked and spit on Xiaeriene's face. She let go and pushed her away.
