Alan glared at her. "Insolent girl!" he chastised. "You're not even wearing gloves!" He stood up and looked down at her. "And for your information... I was just leaving." With that he made a mad dash for the light and disappeared within it.
"Alan!" Anne screamed, tearing away from Leiden's arms and chasing after him. She felt the familiarity of being transported to Serapis, and soon found herself in the old throne room, back when there was a monarchy.
"Where did he go?" she asked herself, then glared at the wall. "Stupid... I'm so stupid!"

Kaide looked at Soki and grinned. "No, no. I was just thinking.." She tilted her head to the side a bit, getting a different view of the trees. They looked odd. As if bland in color.

Kaide snapped back to reality after a moment. "What? Oh, yes of course." She grinned sheepishly and took his arm. "Shall we go then? I know a fantastic place not too far from here."

Kaide half grinned, pulling Soki along with her as she walked around other people who were watching the light show. A small street showed up in front of them after they'd turned left and walked aways. She led him down the street to a small but nice looking tavern. Inside there were very few people, but those who were there, looked like they had plenty of money too be spending. They stopped at a small table in the far corner and she pulled her full money pouch out of her bag. "What do you want to drink? You can get anything you want." She grinned and winked.

"Okay then, I shall be back in just a moment." She walked up to the front of the tavern, talking to the man who was preparing drinks for everyone. She spoke to him for a moment, before he walked off. A maid came over to her a minute later, holding two drinks and small basket of pastries, which Kaide took. "There we are." She said as she set the drinks down, then the basket in the middle of the table, before sitting down on the side opposite Soki.

"We could go back to the palace...And take the scenic route, I suppose." She fiddled with the silver band on her finger, before taking a sip of the milky looking drink she'd gotten. She grinned, wondering if she'd let Soki try the drink or not. Not many people could stand it, but she supposed he might be able too. "Here, why don't you try my drink." She grinned pushing her glass towards him. "This is my own recipe. One part Paichu, three parts Iaochu, and four parts Shoukouchu. They're ingredients from a different country." She stated, her finger up in the air.

"Looks kinda funny for a drink... Almost like milk."
He wondered if this was Kaide's way of messing with him... again.
"Okay,I'll give it a try."
He took a small drink of it.
"Yikes! My nose feels like it's burning! That stuff is strong!"

She laughed, taking the drink back hurriedly and taking a long gulp. "I know! That's why I keep on drinking it. It gives you a boost up of energy." She sighed and finished the last of it. A waitress replaced it with another a few seconds later, and quickly walked away. Kaide picked up one of the pastries and took a bite out of it, looking around the room freely.

Kaide laughed again, her eyes being drawn back to him. "There's already too many medicines for simple illnesses. This is just a drink. Even if I'm the only one who can stand to drink it." She sipped from the new glass, still watching him.
