Is everyone else broiling while Western Canada gets drenched? It's been a full week of rain now, the river is breaking records, a few roads and paths are flooded. I don't remember the last time there was a flood watch here. Apparently, the rain isn't done yet either.

It's raining here. It stormed all night.
A few days ago we had some wicked storms. I think there were tornadoes... somewhere, maybe. The lightning was killer. Our power, along with half of the rest of the city, went out for almost twenty-four hours.
Edit: Astri's avvie kind of makes me think of Joan Jett for some reason.

The sun is shining here. I wanted to join people to go swimming but we were supposed to have thunder showers and lightning. I wonder if they still went? The weather is still lovely.

It's a little overcast here today, and I'm a little sick. sad
But I'm going out anyway, to see the Pride parade and hang around the Pride festival for a bit if it doesn't rain. Living in JP beats the hell out of driving all the way into the city for the weekend. smile
It'll be a little wierd without 'Cisco, though.
