I usually don't care too much if it's the first time a person does it. If I'm looking for an RP, I'll at least give it a look, but if I've got enough on my plate, I'll just tell them sorry, no, and give at least a broad reason (too many RPs already, going through a rough spot in life, not interested in that type of RP, that sort of thing) as to why I'm saying no. If they do it a second time, if I made it clear that it was the RP type that I had the problem with the first time around (didn't like the genre or, as was the problem with a different person, didn't like 1x1 RPs), I'll reaffirm that no, I'm not interested in that type of RP. Do it a third time... Might as well put me on a "do not PM" list. sweatdrop

The last time I checked, which, admittedly, was about a year ago, it was looking like people primarily use the recruitment forum to recruit for 1x1 RPs. A thread recruiting for a group RP tends to get lost among the others. The fact that they were trying to recruit for an RP that isn't even on Gaia complicates things further.
