"Running away is for weaklings like Magma. I'm staying. I wanna beat Archie and all the others that are with him." Reaper said. Mightyena stood up along with Reaper, ready to battle.

"I got a score to settle with Archie-boy... that traitor is gonna get his eyes shanked out of their sockets! Sir!" Dimitri shouted angrily followed by a salute. His Machop grinned arrogantly while he continued to flex his muscles. "Besides hero's get all of the sexy orbs anyway." Dimitri said with a confident grin.

"I want to stay,too" Yamato said "I want to fight until the end"
Yamato felt eager than ever.

Maddy's heart began to race a little as she watched Dark leave. Where was he going? The thought kept running through her head. She took a deep breath as she caught the two Pokeballs he tossed her. Now wasn't the time to lose her head. She needed to keep it together for her Team.
"Ok, guys. You heard him." She began. "Gather up all your things and prepare to defend HQ. If you don't need something, don't waste time packing it."
She went off to her room to gather up some things.

Nunctanemus watched both Dark and Maddy leave the main room. He was ready to go whenever, as he never brought any of his personal belongings to the HQ.

"Wake me up when you're ready to go," he said and closed his eyes. If they were to battle, there was no need to lose any energy before.

Yamato returned to his room and packed up his items. He didn't forget to threw in Kuma's Pokéball into the bag, since he might not be able to return here.

Maddy ran into the common room as she heard noises, carrying her backpack by hand. Luckily, she had just finished gathering up the rest of her things.
"Archie... I'm Leader now."
"I figured it'd either be you or Dark. It doesn't matter. I'll beat you all the same." He let out a Dragalge.
"I can play at that game too." She threw a ball, letting out her Dragalge as well.
Maddy's Dragalge's Speed O-Power activated, allowing her to attack first.
"Dragon Pulse!"
The pulses hit Archie's Pokemon hard, thanks to the effectiveness and Adaptability ability. It was almost down for the count.
"I'll use Dragon Pulse as well!"
Archie's Dragalge hit hard, leaving Maddy's Pokemon with about a third of it's max health.
"Finish his off with another Dragon Pulse."
Archie's first Pokemon was down. Round two began as he sent out his Empoleon.
"Ice Beam!"
Maddy's Poison/Dragon-type was out, leveling off the playing field.
"Go, Lucario! Use Close Combat!"
Maddy wasn't fooling around. She released her Pokemon and the Lucario rushed forward immediately, getting in close to Empoleon and hitting it with a powerful barrage of attacks. It hard hard but left Lucario's Defense and Special Defense severely weakened. Like the Pokemon before it, the emperor penguin wasn't left with much energy to fight. It's Torrent ability was now active, however.
"Surf!"
The powerful wave washed over Lucario, hitting hard thanks to his altered Special Defense. However, he still had fight left in him.
"Power-Up Punch!"
It wasn't an overly powerful hit, but it finished off the Empoleon all the same and even raised Lucario's Attack power to boot. Archie's third Pokemon was Greninja.
"Toxic Spikes!"
Maddy's side of the field was littered with poisonous barbs. Any Pokemon she sent out after Lucario would be poison.
"Force Palm!"
Lucario rushed forward and struck Greninja in the face with the bottom of his palm. The attack was powerful and OHKO'd the frog Pokemon. Archie cursed under his breath and sent out his Mawile.
"Earthquake!"
Lucario slammed the ground hard, causing a powerful quake. The attack hit hard, but Mawile stood it's ground.
"Fire Fang!"
Mawile rushed forward, flames leaping from it's mouth as it bit onto Lucario. Lucario was finally down for the count.
"Good job, man. Go Gabite!"
Maddy sent out the azure dragon. His Defense O-Power activated. The next physical attack wouldn't be as powerful. He was poisoned by the Toxic Spikes, however.
"Earthquake!"
This quake finished off the Mawile. Gabite took damage from poison. Archie's second last Pokemon was a Gyarados.
"Stone Edge!"
Gabite grabbed a sharp rock nearby that had appeared thanks to the two Earthquakes in a row. He slashed at his fearsome foe of a Gyarados, hitting hard. The beast survived the blow, though.
"Ice Fang!"
Gabite didn't survive the blow. He was recalled and replaced with Raichu, who was poison upon entering the battle.
"Thunderbolt!"
As the lightning mouse burst from his Pokeball, he let loose a powerful current of electricity to zap the Gyarados in it's place. Gyarados fainted and was replaced with Archie's final Pokemon, a Noivern.
"Boomburst!"
The attack was devastating, hitting Raichu hard with a powerful, explosive sound wave. Raichu staggered about a little but regained his composure. He had enough fight for one more attack.
"Volt Tackle!"
Sparks pulsed from Raichu's body as he rushed forward, slamming into Noivern with all his might. The attack hit hard and Raichu KO'd itself, but Noivern wasn't done just yet. Maddy recalled her companion and let out her Fraxure.
"Dragon Pulse!"
Fraxure barely survived the blow.
"Outrage!"
Fraxure lashed out at Noivern, attacking with all the strength his dragon blood would allow. The attack was powerful, finishing off the Noivern. Maddy recalled Fraxure.
Archie began to back away.
"N-No..."
"Yes, Archie. I've defeated you."

When the enemy arrived at HQ, Nunctanemus was already ready for a fight. He looked around and found an enemy that looked like within his range.

“Time for a true display of skills. Go, Drop!” he shouted, sending out his Squirtle to a battle.

The enemy was soon to follow with a Pokémon of his own – it was Poochyena. The fight stared with a Quick Attack of the dog, catching Squirtle completely unprepared.

“Let’s blow him off, Drop. Use Bubbles,” the man ordered.

Squirtle followed with a big stream of bubbles that hit Poochyena hard, sending the Pokémon away a few meters, but taking out Poochyena from the fight would surely require much more. The foe jumped and bit Drop, who seemed like in a real pain right now.

“Enough, Drop, you did well. It’s time for you, Lora,” the man said, switching his Pokémon. “Flame Wheel!”

Growlithe covered herself in fire and charged at Poochyena, inflicting pain and managing to burn the enemy. Aqua Grunt ordered his Pokémon to Howl, in order to raise its attack.

“I’m not letting you get any chance. Flame Wheel again, Lora,” ordered Nun.

Growlithe attacked and this time managed to knock out the enemy. “Good job,” Nun praised her.

Next to the battle was Totodile. Nunctanemus was not going to let Fire Pokémon fight Water one, so he switched them once again. “Time for you, Star! Spark!”

Electric attack was super effective on Totodile, making him faint instantly. ‘At least one easy fight. I hope there were more of them,’ thought N. He was starting to get a little tired, not really used to prolonged encounters.

The last enemy was going to be Sneasel. Nun switched his Pokémon for the third time, returning Star back to her Pokéball and releasing Lora once again.

“That’s an Ice type foe, Lora, so we’ll go with Fire attack. Use your Flame Wheel!”

Growlithe once again covered herself with flames and charged at the opponent, hitting him with all her might. Sneasel survived this round and replied with Feint Attack of his own.

“Ouch, that had hurt. Lora, Flame Wheel once again. The victory is close!” Nun tried to encourage his Pokémon.

Lora roared and attacked, striking critically and making Sneasel faint. The battle was over.

“Run, you fool,” Nunctanemus was so full of himself after winning that he wasn’t going to stop the grunt from exiting the HQ, defeated.

‘I wonder what will happen now,’ he thought.
