ScarletFrost Ah yes, I remember being fodder for the gossip mill. I still am, I think. I heard a roomer that the reason my daughter is so small and sickly is because I was a "teen mother." When I heard that, I just LAUGHED. I was 20 when I conceived, for starers, and my daughter is not sickly. She may be small, but my husband's side of the family is short. So are both my grandmothers. I think this person was just feeling malicious and jealous because my kid is so cool. ^_^ I like to keep certain things quiet. And I like to be taken at face value. I hate people trying to "read" me and find my deeper motives. I'll be honest enough with others to let them know what I like and what I don't, and I expect the same courtesy. If they want to get together for drinks one night and develop a deeper, more personal bond, bring it on! But on a day-to-day basis, I'll keep the majority of my life private, thank you. I just hate people who develop an opinion of me and then act all disappointed when I don't meet with their opinion. Pahahaha! What?! I think my daughter is proof that that person is an a**. I had her when I was 18 and she is biggern than every other 2 year old I have seen. Everyone say that she is tall for her age. I don't think some people believe me when I say she is two, but hey, she takes after me. I was always the biggest in my class even though I was almost always the youngest. But I kinda stopped growing in 6th grade... Kind of stinks. I think it would be neat to be 6 feet or so

But I kinda stopped growing in 6th grade... Kind of stinks. I think it would be neat to be 6 feet or soYeah, the woman who said this is in her 40's and apparently there was LOTS of family drama regarding her marriage and daughter's conception. I only know what the gossips say, but it SOUNDS like we were essentially in the same situation (conceived a child out of wedlock and hastily married to try to save face) and SHE has gotten a lot of guff over it, not to mention the scorn of her 4 step-children. I, however, have a wonderfully functional and socially embraced family. Plus, my daughter doesn't have issues with constipation or ear infections like SOMEONE'S child. xp It's the old busy-body prudes who are so set in their ways that bug me the most. Not all old people are like that--I have a lot of friends between 30 and 90 who are very down to earth and upfront about things--but those who are give the rest of the older generation a bad name.

Confession*
And not meaning to offend, but I picked on gingers since I was a kid. THEY STARTED IT THOUGH!
There was a couple of pure, true, blue gingers in my school when I was in elementary. They were a grade ahead of me, and they were brother sister fraternal twins. I was the first stop on the bus ride, and they were third, and when they would get on the bus they would both start teasing me because I was little for my age, and they would steal stuff from me and be horrible. Later on, we somehow ended up with another ginger on the bus a few stops down from the twins, and they all got along famously, making bus ride hell for me.
I would take rescued animals to school because one of the lunch ladies actually worked for the conservation department part time. I had a baby rabbit one day, and the boy took it from me, because he wanted to see it. when I got hysterical, he thought it was funny, and he started shaking the box. The rabbit didn't make it alive to school. I went so far as to call the punk heartless and soulless, and all the high-schoolers thought it was hilarious, and that started me on the path to learning how to get even.
Later on in my life, a ginger girl started coming to church and I swear the way she introduced herself to our group was by walking up to one of the guys in the group, putting him in a headlock, and daring any of us to help him. She was a first class bully, and by that time, I had little patience for bullies of any kind, so her and I clashed hard, coming to physical fights pretty often.
Sadly, my young mind saw their cookie cut attitudes, and I drew the conclusion that all gingers were probably the same. So from my second grade year to about the time I was 16, I had issues. Then I realized what a dumb-assed b***h biggot I was, and snapped out of it. I still hold that redheads in general DO fit the stereo-type of having the hottest tempers... I haven't personally met one yet who doesn't.

YAY FOR GIRLFRIENDS AT CHRISTMAS!!! WOO HOO!
... and yeah, I know it's terrible on my part...
My original point was that it just goes to show that nothing is original on Southpark, they just make obscure things mainstream. I had help with my stereotype, I didn't come to any conclusions by myself... In a funny way though, I think Southpark does a great job at bringing to light just how absurd such stereotypes are. LOL

Hurray for holiday mates! and it's been a while since i've seen you around smile
on another note...poor bunny sad i would have KILLED that kid >.>
i remember when i was in foster care, i was a senor in high school, and i had a foster sister who wasn't exactly all there, she was in the special education classes, but was allowed to eat in teh cafeteria. So i was eating lunch with my friends and boyfriend, but i always sat where i could keep an eye on her. this boy, a freshman, walked up to her, and started making fun of her. So now, of course he had my FULL attention. Then he SLAPPED her. He actually HIT her. i was up and across the lunch room so fast none of my friends knew what happened. I got up in his face asking what the HELL she did to deserve that, she was in absolute tears at that point and he challenged me "whatcha gonna do about it B*^&" and he turned around, and hit her AGAIN, so hard that when we went home that day she still had a red mark on her face. I grabbed him by the back of his backpack, and threw him across the lunchroom, he had been leaning on the table, and i left skin ON the table i did it so fast. Now mind you i am 4'11 NOW at age 26, this kid was easily 5 or 6 inches taller than me. and it took all my friends to hold me back, becuase i was seeing red...... i almost got suspended... but there were NO teachers around, not even lunch staff. So my Foster mother said if i got more than a detention, she would be sueing the school >.> ( did i mention i LOVE this woman?) so i only got 2 detentions, and the kid got suspended. The Principal asked me " well next time what would you do differently" becuase he wanted me to admit I was wrong for taking physical action. and i said " not a damn thing Sir. Where were the teachers you want me to go run and get while this kid beats on my sister."
>.> point is, i HATE it when i see that sort of behavior. I've always been a idk, defender of the weaker? i guess, >.> gets me in trouble alot lol

I know what you mean Shandrel...
I still have a reputation around here as someone you don't want pissed off at you. I would get in fights allot in school because I would step up to defend people who didn't know how to do it for themselves. It made for everyone wanting to be my friend, except the ones who I clashed with allot.
I kinda grew into my roll though. When I was 15 I shot from 4'11" to 5'8" in the time of about 4 months, so the fights I got into dropped to nearly none very suddenly. LOL People would see me coming and just stop what they were doing if they were acting out.
