[Amy : Hawaii : Village]
'That was Terra,' Amy wanted to confirm, but kept silent on the relatively moot point. Terra was her original Final Fantasy hero; she would recognize her face anywhere. Alan and Bobbi (how did she know her name?) were talking about the armies arriving at Disney Castle, and the subject, striking her as far more relevant, drew her attention.
She had a hard time believing the entire Chinese nation showed up at Disney Castle, and her thoughts were mirroring Demyx's when he spoke, although instead of a few million, she thought of a billion. It was still unnerving to realize they were thinking along the same lines, and a little discouraging to have Bobbi rebuke him, as if, in the same vein, Bobbi was rebuking her as well. Alan voiced his confusion on the same subject, much to Amy's relief. She shuffled her feet, reorganized her thoughts, and decided that the entire Chinese Army must have arrived, as that made the most sense.
She sure hoped they left some of the soldiers behind. Taking away a city's entire defense was... well, unwise.
[Riku]
"Mickey stopped writing. Queen Minnie is worried about him... it's not in character for him to fall out of contact like that," Riku paused, thinking of the last time Mickey disappeared. No warning of his disappearance at all. Did the King require secrecy? Or was he in trouble?
Riku was standing on the path the villager had indicated, the one that led to the beach. They would all be able to think much more clearly at the beach, his eyes seemed to say. Why not go to the beach, his posture seemed to suggest.
The breeze, the smell of the ocean, the sun shining... it brought back memories of a more carefree time. Riku was wise enough to recognize that not only did he want to go to the beach, he needed to. The world would always need to be saved, there would always be another problem to solve, and yes, urgency was sometimes needed, sometimes vital even. ...But being constantly exposed to it would wear at a person's light. The worlds merging, his friend missing, Replicas attacking– all the time. He needed the reminder of what exactly it was they were all fighting for.

◊❖❖======₪ [Kyla: Hawaiian Village]₪======❖❖◊ Some jobs were easier to do then others; rebuilding a collapsed wall, remaking a shattered roof or window, repaving the road and making it whole again. Kyla was starting to feel like a city construction worker. At least she had Stitch to help her do the heavy lifting. As she ran back and forth by the whole group, going from place to place she caught some parts of the conversation. Space Pirates, Armies, and the beach. The Chinese army, the Al Bhed and the Ivalician. All of these she recognized. An Army of such incredible size. Just who would Mickey possibly need to fight against- with an army that huge!? And judging by his still continued elusiveness, he’s not done recruiting is he? It was around the time Riku had spoken up when Kyla started to feel the heavy fatigue coming on from prolonged massive use of her powers. After just coming from a battle- she wasn’t the least bit surprised. Bending over to support her hands on her knees she took a few breathes before straightening up. Looking to the closest villager she asked with a bit of strain in her voice. “ Is there anything left you people need me to help reconstruct ?” She couldn’t just take off the beach- although she wanted to, not if these people still needed her. She’d take a break once it was clear they didn’t need her anymore.

[Cory .:. Hawaiian Village]
"Catch."
The rogue tossed an elixir to Kyla as she asked if there was anything else she could do for the villagers. He calmly approached her, hands in his pockets as he said, "You need to slow down. There's no need to waste your energy right now when everyone has a perfectly good set of hands. What if we were suddenly attacked after you had drained all your mana on construction work? Kichi would have to play guard dog again, though I'm certain he would do so anyway."~
Because it's not moving. It could be residual for all I know, so there's no need to put them on edge.

[Laan .:. Caribbean .:. Dutchman Hallways]
The deathknight turned and walked away as Kuro spoke, not really bothering to wait for his full response. It was, after all, the response he had expected.
~
Laan stopped, alone now in the halls of the ship as he spoke to his esper. "Because there is only one of these 'replicas' I cannot hope to defeat, and that replica is Ajora. My severe weakness to light and his control over it make him the only being on this ship who can undoubtedly defeat me. Kuro Oni, Elleon, and even Alice... My abilities make me a well-rounded warrior who can potentially defeat any of them. But Ajora had the luck of the draw on his side, and he was left with a duality of Light and Dark. He can both resist my Darkness abilities and counter with his own Light abilities. To fight him would be madness."
~
"Unfortunately for you, it is I who am in control. I shall hold onto this new life, and thus my plans will revolve around that desire. First, I must contact the other Espers."
~Death suddenly became calm as Laan mentally laid out his plans for the summon. If he had a form with which to do so, he would have smiled.
Laan grinned slightly as he put his hands behind his back and continued down the hall. "Thank you. First up on the list..."
~
"... Alice."

{Leon : Hawaii : Outskirts of the Village}
Leon did not move as he listened to Cloud's response regarding the kids, though he looked at the buster wielder curiously.
'They remind him of someone...?' The gunblader thought curiously, though he wouldn't press the issue, especially since Cloud quickly diverted the question right back to him.
"Well there is no doubt they have some unique powers. There lack of experience is evident though in the way they fight. They also draw way too much attention to themselves... though I know that isn't their fault." He replied, looking down at the sand again.

◊❖❖======₪ [Kyla: Hawaiian Village]₪======❖❖◊ As much as she hated to admit it, Cory was right. Looking at the surface of the bottle, she sighed and nodded in agreement. “I’ll hold onto this and see how fast I build it up again.. elixirs’.. were always more important than normal ethers and potions.”
It was weird, talking to Cory casually like this- he seemed less inclined to ruffle her feathers. Then again, maybe they just haven’t talked long enough; sooner or later he would try to in snare her again somehow.
He made it clear back on the Pirate ship that he didn’t want her friendship, or her help, he just wanted to control her. Nothing more, nothing less. Him saving her was just fate, and he could care less about that too. All those times when he showed even a shred of humanity- it was all a ploy to make her feel something, something he could mock her with.
“You’re right, I don’t want to be a reason for concern anymore. Thank you.” Pathetic and she meant it too.
‘All she did was use you, string you along with kind gestures then violate your feelings till she didn’t need you anymore. And still you returned her false kindness, you deserved every moment of it!’
Something passed beneath her eyes and she blinked the fog away. Turning to look at him, then away towards the direction the sea breeze came from. Something didn’t feel right, not just the past or the present. She remembered what cory had said about the portals. Kyla needed to clear her head.
Everything was too close, Cory was too close. She could feel his presence against her own like a cool shady touch. It made her tired, tapping her resistance and making the more raw emotions float to the surface.
Dismissing her book, her clothing reverted back to its normal state. Which was currently a summer-dress alteration, compensating for the heat and sunshine. The jacket layer receded and revealed the undergarment slip which paid homage to Namine’s former outfit.Hawaiiin outfit
Wiping the sweat from her brow she preceded to wards the path where Riku kept staring.
“Break time- and thinking time. The water always gives me good ideas.” She mused out loud and started down the path.

Ͻ ◊ Ͼ======₪ [Kai: Caribbean Waters> floating above the Dutchman’s location ] ₪======Ͽ ◊ Ϲ
Having recovered from the fight now, the dark artist was overlooking her secondary goal, tracking the movements of one particular entity across the lands of this universe. It was beyond her control for the time being, but perhaps with some coaxing, she could affect its course of travel? She had to hand it to her original though... when the wrath is unleashed; she was equally capable of creating such nightmares. Figured, her genius, it had to come from somewhere right? But she was the pure untainted article of nightmarish weavings. She could use this. It was only a matter of finding it now. Perhaps it was the change in scenery, and of course the abundance of water. Could the thing even swim? And if so- how fast?
VERY fast was the answer. Her first clue was the floating debris of a few fishing ships. At first glance nothing too amazing, they could have easily been smashed upon the rocks of the dangerous location. But at a closer inspection, the dark pictomancer discovered the tell tale signs of slash marks the side of large butcher knives. Strong enough they cut through wood and steel alike. The slashing crawled all the way from beneath the ships hulls to the highest sail poles.
As for the sailors... she could only find tatters of their clothing. All the goods were spoiled and lost to the water, floating about in crates or sunk into the depths below. Whatever attacked these ships didn’t care about anything but sheer destruction and the reaping of lives. Savage, deadly, angry. It was like a scent of pure anger and darkness. It fermented and clung to all that remained. It was here. It had to be. Following the trail of remains, she discovered two more boats, this time bigger ones. What she found was the same.
“Something wicked this way comes...”
Who would it find first? The group on the Hawaiian shores, or the already battered team sailing away on the Black Pearl? Neither side had a chance if it found them.

[Stitch :: Hawaiian Village]
Stitch smiled at the drawing girl, “I do good job!”
Stitch suddenly saw that many of the cars were flipped over like the girl said. “Wrong!” Stitch giggled to himself before going over to the cars and lifting them like the car weighed like a piece of paper. He then proceeded to flip all of the cars over before noticing a blue punch buggy .
Stitch quickly crawled over to the buggy before smiling to himself. “Blue punch buggy!” Stitch shouted before punching the car. The car instantly gained the flight as it flew into the air before falling back down into the earth and exploding due to the force of Stitches punch. “No punch back!”
[Dani :: Hawaiian Village] Dani nodded along as the conversation went down. She could understand some of it but was just trying to follow the conversation so that she could understand what was going to happen next. “I used to do strategy games a couple years ago,” Dani spoke quietly to Bobbi and Alan, “I was okay at them but I usually lost. I think I agree that we need a little bit of downtime before we run off to defeat the enemies that exist here in Hawaii.”
What really caught her attention was Bobbi telling the story about the Chinese coming to Disney castle. “Wait a minute!” Dani shouted to Alan and Bobbi, “You guys have been to Disney Castle and Land of Dragons already! No fair!”

Where was she? ...............
Where did she go?
..... When was she coming? Where is she? Didn’t they promise? She promised. It was all it could think of. All it could feel, and all that it was. Buried beneath rubble, wrapped in shrouds of darkness it whimpered and wept, waiting for her to come, but she never did. Now the shell has cracked, and the egg of wrapped shadows lay in tatters amongst the rubble. The being emerged with only one reason in its hollow mind. To find her. It would see where she was. It would find her. Because she belonged to it. Together forever. Never leave the other behind. That was the deal right? “ Onee-san...?”
A villager heard the soft little voice in the shadows of a fallen building, and quickly rushed to find it. When they came across it, tiny hands reached out for them, begging, pleading. “ Another abandoned one? Come here then I’ll help you lil g- !!!!?”
..... ...
..... where did she go?

[Cory .:. Hawaiian Village]
Cory frowned as Kyla spoke and walked away. He couldn't blame her, though- he would have done the same. The wounds the rogue had inflicted in the past were too deep, and he was too much of a loose cannon. Nothing he did was predictable, not even to himself. Even now, as he stood side-by-side with the other Earthlings in what he would call a loose alliance, he was unsure of his next move. He didn't know if he would continue helping them, or turn on them. If the battle between the armies Mickey was gathering and the darkness he would face with said armies were a math problem, Cory would be the X. An unpredictable variable that could either turn the tide of the war or have as little impact as a raindrop in the ocean.~Shut up...
The rogue shoved his hands in his pockets and began walking away from the group, in the opposite direction Kyla had gone. He looked over his shoulder and said aloud, "I'll catch you dorks later. If you run into trouble, just scream really loud. Maybe I'll hear it." With that, Cory left the group again. He wasn't sure if he would help them should they need it, but as far as he was concerned for the time being... He was investigating.
~ : ~ : ~
[Foot of the Volcano]
The rogue approached the volcano again, noting the trail he had blazed earlier while riding the Shadow down the side. He was dead certain that he had smelled Darkness coming from the Volcano, and this confirmed it. It hung in the air like the scent of death, filling Cory's nostrils like a noxious fume. The high temperature didn't help either, which boggled Cory's mind. "Why is it so hot here all of a sudden?... It wasn't this hot earlier..."
That's when he smelled it- the disgusting odor of sulfur. The orange glow coming from behind him, getting brighter and brighter. The rogue didn't have the magical aptitude to sense the attack, but he knew when there was fire coming at him from behind. Cory jumped out of the way as a wave of fire scorched the ground where he had been, leaving nothing but barren earth as the rogue landed a safe distance away.Nithhogr grinned as he casually walked out of the treeline, fire burning from the corners of his mouth as cracked his knuckles. "This is th' worthless sod Ah get meh pers'nality from? What a letdown." Nithhogr opened his mouth wide, wider than a person should be capable of, and shot a blast of fire out of it at Cory. The rogue dove out of the way, summoning the Revblade and donning his power suit as he said, "What the hell are you talking about?! Get your own damn personality!" Cory rushed towards Nithhogr, revving his sword as he uppercut the Unversed with his free hand. "Blue Rose!" Azure rose petals exploded from Cory's fist as it impacted with Nithhogr's chin, sending the Unversed high into the sky. "I've had it up to here with getting attacked today! Leave me the F*CK alone!" The ronin's legs became Resolved as he jumped high into the air, Revblade roaring loudly as he swung at what should have been a prone target. The Revblade came to a halt once meeting a similarly peculiar weapon. The handle and guard were both identical to Cory's, complete with the engine and rev-style handle. But the blade was no blade. It was a chainsaw. Nithhogr grinned, fired burning all around his body as he said, "Sorry, mate, but Ah was created 'specially fer you." The Chainblade turned on as Nithhogr revved the handle, the chainsaw edge pulling the Revblade from Cory's hand and disarming him. "Red Rose!" The Unversed swung down, striking Cory in the face with an attack identical to Cory's Blue Rose, only red.The rogue crashed into the ground, his Revblade falling behind him and landing in the ground at his side. He struggled to one knee, having not expected such a fierce counter attack. What... the hell?!Nithhogr landed on the ground before Cory, the Chainblade resting on his shoulder in the same way the Cory would rest the Revblade on his. "Y'see, Mr. Ego, Ah was created specifically t' combat you." He motioned to the Chain blade. "A weapon capable of not only withstanding yours, but overpowering it." His free hand became enveloped in a bright orange fire. "An element yer weak to that also works in a sim'lar manner t' yer own." Nithhogr kicked Cory in the face, sending him flying before rolling to a stop on the ground, unmoving. "An' o' course, Ah'm also a ruthless arse."

[ Kyle : Caribbean : Pearl's Lower Decks ]
As Jacob intersected his idea, Kyle shook his head, hiding the frustration the 'plan' gave him with a practiced ease.
"The Replicas there... that was barely than half of them. Alice, Ajora, Elleon, Kuro," he said, naming them off. "That still leaves Kai, Azrael, Janex... and those are only the ones we know about. We never even knew about Alice..."
"That means the other half is probably giving our friends in Hawaii hell. Friends who are just as strong as we are, meaning 'taking the strongest' isn't really an option. Whatever they're going against is reason enough for us to split up," Kyle explained. "That Chaos-avatar we fought in Tortuga? That's just one of eleven- one of which just recently attacked them yesterday."
"That's not including the Nobodies, who are probably still in the area, and the Negator, which we know they still have. Sure, we could possibly try to shoot it out the sky, but with the Nobodies and the Replicas bearing down on us, it wouldn't make much of a difference."
"Annoying though it may be, retreat is our only plan that has a chance of success. We need to protect Calypso, King Triton, and the King of Atlantis. We now know Ajora plans to destroy the latter two, and as you said, even if we destroyed the Dutchman, they'd just... portal to their location before we arrived."
"The only chance of success is to get there before they do and warn them ahead of time," he said, running a hand through his hair. "And we'll have to split up. Some of us will have to stay up here so that we can make sure this world's story goes accordingly, and the others will have to go down to Atlantica... considering only we Earthlings and Sora can survive down there due to our magic clothing, that leaves the others to stay up here and which ever Earthlings would prefer to stay..."
... why are they on that ship?

{Bobbi, Demyx .:. Hawaii .:. Village Center} Bobbi looked over at Riku when he spoke, and noticed his body language. She smiled a little, seeing how he was practically fighting tooth and nail the urge to go down to the beach without them. Immediately her mind superimposed a picture of him in swim trunks over the reality standing in front of her, and she felt her face start to turn red at the image. And then Sora got added to the picture and her mind spiraled downwards from there. Needless to say, she kind of went AWOL from the conversation. She even missed the explosion Stitch caused. "Wait a minute! You guys have been to Disney Castle and Land of Dragons already! No fair!""Bwuh?!" Bobbi said, startled from places her mind really shouldn't be right now by Dani's excited shout. "Oh, yeah. Don't worry, if I know how these adventures go, we'll probably wind up going back at some point. Tie up loose ends and whatnot." Demyx was letting himself be easily distracted from the conversation. He looked around at everyone not involved in making war plans, and noticed Cloud and Leon had wandered off. He was about to go make a nuisance of himself when he noticed Kyla heading down to the beach.
Much~ better idea.
He didn't even bother to say anything, just walked away from the group and followed Kyla on her path out. He ignored Cory walking off, and just kept walking.
"Pretty little thing like you shouldn't wander off all alone~" he called to the Pictomancer, trying (and, of course, failing) to put on a macho air. "Want a man to keep you company?"((About the Chinese Nation @ Disney Castle thing: those were Kyle's words to me via Skype, I'm just the messenger! ><; ))

[Nick :: Hawaii :: Village Center]
Nick had long since wandered away from the group, preferring to settle away on a bench. Despite being asked to spy on this group, he has rarely done any sort of association with any individual. As a spy, he was an absolute failure. He chuckled, leaning his head back and staring up at the sky. It was beautiful out, despite the occasional attack from the Tengu and the space pirates. Then he heard the smashing of cars. He looked back towards the group, only seeing a blue wreck of a shape.
"...Seriously, why are people destorying cars right now? I mean, hell, aren't we supposed to help protect the village? Mreh, screw it." Nick wasn't overly concerned. If they needed aid, he'd hear more sounds of battle. If anyone was looking for him, the aeromancer was going to take a nap.
[Quistis :: Black Pearl :: Lower Deck]
Quistis remained quiet watching the exchange go about between ideas on what to do and where they were going. She couldn't help but think that Kyle definitely had a brain in his head. He analyzed every possible solution, but, she mentally noted, he seemed very pessimistic about every sort of solution. She personally knew the value of a little faith, her home had been returned after being lost. Yet, the blonde man in front of her seemed to have his faith wavering constantly.
"Well, if that's the case, Kyle, I'll do my best to help to keep the 'world's story going accordingly', although I'm not sure exactly what that means. It may seem bleak, but as long as we plan it right, we should succeed with whatever your goal is." Quistis nodded, but then paused. "But how will you decide who goes and who stays? You stated previously that you 'Earthlings' and Sora can survive down there, so I'm obviously staying up here with anyone who isn't an Earthling. But how will you divide your forces and somehow keep enough of a force up here to survive an onslaught?"

[Dawn : Caribbean Sea : Lower Decks of the Pearl]
"I'll stay," Dawn said with no hesitation as she looked between Kyle and Quistis, she gave a small half smile, "I wasn't planning on going to Atlantica anyway."
Dawn paused for a few moments as she started to shuffle her feet, "Though I am not sure if you guys should really split us up more than that. We don't know what could happen, on the ship or under the sea. Sides if something happens, we could always communicate with the other, if need be through my charm."
"What do you think?" Dawn looked at Kyle as she continued, hoping he would agree with what she said, "I know I don't trust myself right now if I were to fight James, as to what I would do. Nor do we know what this mark on my hand is going to do to me. At least on the ship if I start loosing my mind, someone can lock me in the brig... or something..."
Her voice faded a little as she finished the last statement. She looked down at her hands as she starting to wrinkle her glove, that was now somehow white, between her hands.

[The Flying Dutchman ~ Captain's Quarters]
Elleon eyed her creature as she thought of what she wanted to do with it. There were so many possibilities. There was one idea that stuck in her head, though, so she went for it. The Replica took Ajora's outstreatched hand and closed her eyes. She visualized her piece, eager for the outcome. The sooner this was done, the sooner she could go and mess around, doing things completely unrelated to any of Ajora's, or the Earthlings, dealings.
[The Black Pearl ~ Sleeping Quarters]
Noelle sighed and grimaced, holding her chin up as Jenny healed her neck. She said, "I was worried you'd say that. No matter, you've got me fixed up."
When Jenny had finished, the agromancer gave her a sincere smile and another hug as a thank you. Jenny was such a nice person. It sucked that she had to have a Replica, or what looked like her Replica, to torture her as well. After Noelle pulled away, she looked at Joe, concern returning to her eyes. She really wished there was a way she could help him.
"So . . . his eye won't heal, huh?" She asked Jenny softly, slouching a little. "Do you know why? You think I'd be able to help?"
