Familiar scent. Looking over her shoulder Hellfire caught sight of Isamu. 'Hello, Isamu. Any reason you're here? Has my brother stolen your food?' she said the last part jokingly, while smiling. But her attention quickly turned to her trainer.
'Heeeeeey, i don't steal food!!' Naruto growled at Hellfire, thinking she was serious. But he looked at Isamu with a grin. 'Heya, guessing you're the absol my sis talks about, huh?'

Alastair, brave gentleman that he was, did his absolute very best to make sure to stay behind Lamen while she confronted whatever the glowing light was. Sure, it wasn’t exactly courageous… but, it was also a good way to survive! In horror movies, those who ventured off on their own, marching bravely into the darkness singing, were generally killed in horrible bloody ways. Staying behind someone else seemed like a far better prospect for now.
“…Is there any particular reason why you’re waving a knife around?” he asked bemusedly. Hey! That was one of the trainers from the group! “It’s not that I really mind a knife being waved at me… it’s just that I have this annoying allergy to sharp things near my face.”

 Kayla was still looking at the stars, just thinking about stuff that happened earlier today and the day before that. This adventure was the most exciting she had ever had besides normal battling.
She was jared out of her thoughts when she heard Meeka speaking to her pokemon. Hn. Meeka must have left where Kayla last saw her at when she went to change her clothes to her PJs.
Getting up to lean on her elbow, Kayla tried to keep her voice down, not wanting to wake the whole camp. "Hey there, Meeka!" She greeted in a soft tone. "You sort of day dreamed a bit there earlier." Kayla teased.
Hea was snoozing lightly when she smelled something familiar and lifted her head up to see. Seeing Ebba, she belted a quiet, 'Brrriing.' in greeting.

"I was saving yo--" Bug paused. "I was working on my acting skills," she quickly corrected, fibbing to the trainers and herself. "It seemed real, didn't it?!" Her attempt to lie didn't sound very convincing.
As she began to bow, a chilly wind ran past her, sending a shiver down her spine. She hadn't realized how cold it was until now, and she didn't have a jacket or sweater with her at the moment.
"Getting back to camp sounds like a good idea," she grumbled shakily.

 "I thought you'd never ask!" She quickly dumped the large pile of sticks and twigs into Riza's arms, "That should be enough for the night..." Kai paused, picking up a few logs to carry in her own arms as she began to walk back towards camp.
She made sure to lead the way, Abyss following behind Riza to make sure she wasn't 'attacked' like she had feared. "Hrm, as a child huh? ...Well I do know there was a time I was very frightened...But I got over my fears and became stronger."
Isamu quirked a brow, Brother...Talks a...bout? He shot Hellfire a questioning glance, "(No, my food is as safe as it always is! Unless you know something I don't...)" He then looked over at the male, "(Why, does she talk about a certain absol a lot?)" He stopped before the two, giving the girl before him a look over.

 Meeka shook her head. Day dreamed? Heck, it was probably that evil Combusken trying to control her mind again. She told it to get out of her head, it just wouldn't listen. "Eh...hehe." Meeka laughed lightly as she looked at Kayla. Ebba greeted Hea also, replying in a long and groaning, "Stannnnnnnnnnn." He limped over to her, the reason being as Heila was still on his leg. "Stant." he said. Heila greeted her also with a "Dourrrrrrrr."

“… you were working on your acting skills,” Alastair repeated dully. “At night. In a forest known colloquially as the Howling Woods. And with a knife. And running at us. In the dark.” There was a pregnant pause that quickly gave birth to more pauses as the trainer tried to figure this one out. “Ah, Hell. Makes as much sense about everything else. Must be one helluva scene you’re training for. I wouldn’t mind seeing that sometime. You’ll have to tell me allll about it!” he said cheerfully, with that eerie sort of cheeriness that meant he was fully aware that someone was playing Silly Buggers. But, he could play it better. Or, at least, he could keep himself amused.
And so the trainers walked back to the camp, with Luminitia the flaaffy lighting their way. Well, that is when she didn’t get distracted by the abundance of food. And it was just lying here, for anyone to take! How awesome was that?! By the time they reached camp, the little flaaffy’s arms were completely full of delicious berries and nuts and her muzzle was stained by the juices. Yes, that was one happy pokémon alright.
“By the way… what’s your name? Or should I just call you aspiring actor, or AA for short?” Alastair asked curiously. “I’ve seen you around, but you know how it is. There’s never any chance to talk before the wagons get attacked by something or other.”

'Does it make any difference?' Hellfire spat as she shoved Naruto away from their trainer. Something was bothering her and she didn't like it.
'Oi! Not so rough! Jeeze, HellSPAWN.' He growled before turning to Isamu and bowing his head. 'Forgive me for not introducing myself. I'm Naruto. We're having a bit of trouble with our trainer at the moment so please forgive us.' He said in an oddly formal tone.

 "Oof!" she exclaimed briefly at the sudden load, "Glad I could help!" Riza smiled, shifting her shoulders so that it would be easier to carry.
She followed closer to Kai this time--not too close--but enough that she felt better. Abyss' light had helped more than she thought it would though, and she had the itching feeling to humm as they walked back. She swallowed it down and gave Kai a quizzical look, "Got over them? That's very brave of you...."
She wished she could be like that sometimes. It was nice to be frightened when you're watching something, but it'd be great to be able to be brave like the older trainer.
Maybe someday...
Riza sighed, then racked her brains for a question to break the stillness. It made her a bit jumpy.
"Where are we headed? Any particular spot or just....around...?"
The second she asked she regretted it. Another one of those 'obvious' questions that made her feel like an idiot.

Hea was quite tired after being spooked earlier today and experiencing new things, so she stayed laying down but sniffed at Ebba who had the same strange pokemon that gave her hungry eyes earlier. Hea was still wary of her but not as much now that it's jaws was preoccupied with something else, even if it was Ebba. "Brrriiing, briii." She greeted the houndour as well and watched the two with a sparkle in her eyes.
Kayla on the other hand, was speaking to Meeka. "So what are you doing up this late?" It was already almost midnight and if they wanted to get up early then it would be ideal to get some rest but Kayla was too awake to sleep.

He couldn't help but give a small smirk in reply, watching her abuse the ninetails. However, he cocked his head to the side slightly, wondering what was up with his sudden change in attitude from last night. Finally, he thought he found it, "(Did you...find that ramen you were looking for, Naruto? Oh! Forgive me, my name's Isamu.)" He bowed his head to the side, the top of his helmet and his broken horn showing.

Meeka shrugged. "Can't sleep." she laughed. In reality, the evil Combusken had scared the living Plusles and Minuns out of her, so there was use of her actually sleeping. Ebba have dragged Heila as he took a seat next to Meeka. She patted him as she tugged Heila. "C'mon now Heila." she said. "No hunting friends..." Heila let go and proceeded onto Meeka's lap. She nodded reassuringly as she petted her.

She felt the distance between them shrink, listening to her foot steps on the dirt below, smiling to herself. "You have to be brave when you're left alone to your own devices...." She trailed off in thought, thinking back to that point in time. No, she didn't want to remember it all again; shaking her head she stirred the thoughts and focused on the here and now.
"Heh, where? I suppose you would feel better finding a spot closer to the main camp site rather than here in this forest seeing how you," she turned round to shoot her a glance, "React."
Ah, there it was, a nice spot they could rest and it wasn't too far from all the others Kai kneeled on the ground as she brushed a large area clean with her hands. Taking a few sticks from Riza's hands she assembled the startings of their fire, a small teepee-like structure.

Kayla rolled her eyes at Heila's fixation on prey pokemon, which she could understand but...
Kayla shrugged. "I can't sleep either or I couldn't before." Kayla yawned a bit. Her eyes were having a hard time keeping open. "Mhmmm." She curled up in her sleeping bag. "Uh, I'm sorry Meeka but it seems that I can't keep my eyes open anymore. Maybe it's some pokemon using sleeping powder or some ghost pokemon using hypnosis...but...I am...sleepy....Night." With that Kayla started to snore lightly.
Hea continued to watch Heila quietly but soon closed her eyes while the little head on her tail watches the houndour for her. It would alert her if the dark canine deicded to do something funny. Hea let out a soft. "Brrriiiing..." (Good night, Ebba.)Quote: I am about to follow Kayla into dream land. I'm REALLY sorry. Atch, there it was again. She looked away towards the ground as she blushed bright red. She needed to stop doing that!
Swallowing, Riza commented, "You seem very good at this sort of thing...."
She set the sticks down in front of her a keeled, watching Kai start a fire. She figured she should probably keep her mouth shut to save her from more embarrassment, so instead she occupied herself by stacking the sticks in a small tower, waiting politely for Kai to finish before she started talking again.
....and also trying to think of questions that didn't result in a red face.
