SO my friend is going to try and set me up with this girl
Problem is, is that we don't know if shes gay

Problem is, is that we don't know if shes gay I would end up going straight up to her and asking her if she's gay and if she is, would you like to go on a date with me?

There are people who can be religious but still be gay. Just start asking her questions about various gay subjects. Like Tegan and Sara, they are gay. Figure out her opinion on gay's first.

Tell her she's pretty and pay attention to her reaction it should tell you if she is or not.

Figure out her opinion on gay's first. Well you see, there's a problem with that. Like this one person who I used to be good friends with, we were talking about gay stuff and the day of silence and she said that gay people should have marriage rights and stuff and that she'd do the day of silence with me. So later that month I told her that I was bisexual and that I didn't want her to tell anyone. Well she told some people and it got around and stuff, I still have no rest to it. And I was sitting at a table, doing my homework, where they were talking about gay people and she mentioned that she was afraid of lesbians. I don't really talk to her much anymore.
