"...no." Bakura said after a lengthy pause. He closed his eyes, leaning his head back until he could rest it against the wall behind him. "It would be too dangerous for us. I can't do stuff like that anymore, can I?" He eventually felt his daughter's small hands on his sleeve and opened his eyes to look at her, then take a hold of her hands and made her wave.

"You could but it wouldent be the smartest thing to do..." Rei said. Now that her father way payying attation to her femi giggled and cooed smiling brightly.

"I suppose I'm just going to have to leave the pharaoh alone, won't I?" Bakura said, glancing up at Rei, smiling wryly. Even though he smiled, there was a look of depression in his eyes. "But, hey, I'm losing control of myself. What happened? How'd we get here? Last I remember we were in that damned hospital,"

"Khalid..." She said simply. She dident want to exsplain everything that had happened. Femi tugged on him and rei chuckled "I think she wants you." rei said playing femi in his arms. Femi's violet eyes sparkled as she looked up to him. She defenitly a daddy's girl.

"Right. That guy." Bakura was deep in thought and hardly paid attention to Femi. "Rei, I want you to stay in here as much as you can. Those men out there probably have nothing more than ugly monkeys as wives. And, well... don't leave this room unless I'm with you."

Rei nodded "Alright I promice" she said. Femi whimpered tugging on her fathers jacket and nuzzling to him. Rei leaned over and gave him a soft kiss on the cheak.

"Oh, and also, don't get on the bed. That thing is probably flea-ridden and has countless stains of who-knows-what on it." Bakura seemed oblivious to the affections of both his wife and his daughter. His eyes had closed again, and he was feeling a little lightheaded. "I'll just sleep on the floor..."

Rei sighed and gently scooped femi back up into her arms "Alright." Rei leaned on the wall. "Here." Rei very gently pulled bakura down so his head was resting in her lap. she then gently started to rub his head hoping to relax him.

Bakura' however, pulled away. "No, stop that." He snapped, sounding slightly angry. He crossed his arms tightly over his chest. "I just want to go to sleep. Leave off." Again, he didn't mean to sound harsh, but he wasn't in the mood right then to be treated like that. He was feeling irritable.

"Alright..." Rei said softly letting him be on his own. She pulled her knees up letting the children lean on them. Soon both children had fallen aleep.

Bakura went to the opposite side of the room and went to sleep on his own, in a sitting position.

Rei staid quiet and it took her a while before her head drooped and she finaly fell asleep.

The next morning, Bakura jolted awake. It took him a little while of panicked breathing and looking around before he remembered where he was. The sun had not quite risen yet, but the sky was brightening. He went over to Rei to shake her awake, deciding that they should leave as soon as possible, before it got much more hot.

Bakura hadent had to shake her. Once he moved rei looked up. Itseemed rei hadent slept at all.

Bakura hesitated, hovering next to Rei. "You okay?" He asked, when he noticed that she hadn't seemed to have been asleep.
