So that was it. In order to continue following his dream, Dante was being forced to give up his Pokemon. And suddenly, she understood the dreary mood at hand. She looked at the red and white Pokeball he held in his hand, and suddenly did remember the blue and orange egg he'd been carrying before they'd parted. "Levi," she repeated. "That's an adorable name," she added. "I would be honored to take care of her for you, Dante," she said, realizing only then that she had no idea what the egg had hatched into. "What kind of Pokemon is Levi?" she asked, putting a finger to her lips curiously. "And if you don't mind me asking, what sort of abilities does she have?" It may have sounded blunt, but it would be easier to take care of a Pokemon if one knew what it could do beforehand.

Ariel watched Althena waddle over to her, wondering if the Psyduck had grown since she'd last seen her. She almost jumped back in fright when Althena "attacked" her, but stopped when she came to the realization of what she was doing. Ariel had the ability to absorb water to heal damage, and as the Water Gun cascaded onto her tail, it started to shimmer lightly as the bruising faded. After several moments, it had been healed completely, and Ariel smiled thankfully at the Psyduck, glad for her thoughtfulness.

Smiling greatfully Dante tossed the pokeball out to reveal the small Mudkip. "Her really names Leviathan, but Levi is good. How about I show you her special egg move." He said with a small grin. The baby Mudkip jumped around excitedly her black eyes staring up happily, she didn't really understand what was going on. "All right Levi lets show Kasiya your Ice Ball attack." Giving a sort of chirping sound Levi curled up and covering herself with ice started to roll around happily. Smiling as he watched the young pokemon Dante let out a sad sigh before placing the pokeball into Kasiya's hand. "She is yours now. I hope you take good care of her. I will make sure I can come visit her when I have some free time."

Although impressed by the Ice Ball attack, Kasiya felt a knot in her stomach, very similar to the one she'd felt when she learned that Keegan had to part with Helios. She stared down at the Pokeball in her hand, and sighed, fighting back a tear or two. "Don't worry about her, Dante, I'll take good care of her," she nodded, bending down to pat the adorable little Mudkip, who'd rolled close to her and now stood up, shaking the ice from her body. She looked confused as Dante stepped back, like she didn't quite know what was going on. But upon spotting her Pokeball in this new girl's hand, an understanding came over her dark eyes, and she sat down, chirping quietly as if to let Dante know she'd be a good girl while he was gone.

Keegan kept his distance, uncertain if Levi still harbored her distaste for the male population in general. He did know, however, that Kasiya would be a good trainer for Levi, although he suspected she knew little, if anything, about the Mudkip. Looking down at Moeder's Safari Ball once more, he decided not to ask who Dante was leaving Apollo, or the others, for that matter, with. He knew Dante had been dreaming of seeing Apollo evolve for some time, and that it must be difficult, now that it had actually happened. He glanced at Kasiya, knowing that she was being strong for Dante just now, and he gently squeezed her shoulder, wondering what was going to happen next.

Giving the baby Mudkip a small smile he bent down one last time and scooped the small pokemon up into a hug. "You be good ok? I dont want to get a call from Kasiya to find a new trainer for you." It was hard on him but he knew he had to do it. As much as he loved his pokemon he knew that they would be better off with a better trainer then him. After all he had only become a pokemon trainer in order to reach the place he had now. " I will be sure to visit." That being said he put the small pokemon down and turned to the other two trainers. "If you guys ever need any help or anything be sure to call me. Not sure how much help I can be with out a team though... I guess if you have a question regaurding the legendary pokemon give me a call." That being said he turned away, he knew that he if he stayed with his pokemon to much longer he wouldn't be able to go through with giving them away. Hopping up on Apollo's back he gave them one last wave before the Rapidash took off with ground eatting gallops.

((Ok I admit it. I started to tear up while writting this.))

The baby Mudkip let out a saddened sigh as she watched Dante and Apollo ride away. She turned and looked up at Kasiya, wagging her little fins and trying not to look like she were on the verge of crying. Feeling her heart break at the Mudkip's determination to be strong, Kasiya reached down and scooped up the small Mudfish into her arms. "It'll be okay," she told Levi gently. "We'll see him again someday, okay? And we'll show him just how much stronger you've become by then too." Her words seemed to perk up Levi a bit, and she nodded, nuzzling Kasiya's hand. Kasiya then looked to Ariel, who no longer looked annoyed or angry, but like her usual self, and sighed, not knowing what she'd do if she ever were put in Dante or Keegan's shoes. "That's the last thing I ever expected to happen," she sighed, finally letting a tear slip down her cheek. It landed on Levi's head, and the Mudkip looked up at her, unsure of why the girl was crying. However, she then caught sight of Keegan, and even though she already knew him, and knew that he wasn't a bad person, she glared at him, mainly on principle.

((I did too, Melph. It's all so heartbreaking. D: ))

Keegan rolled his eyes at the Mudkip's glare, not really bothered by it this time. Perhaps in time she'd learn to like him, or at the very least tolerate him. Either way, he didn't mind, and checked his watch. "I should deposit Moeder's Safari Ball and let my parents know what's going on," he sighed, looking in the direction Dante had gone. "Then we should probably be going soon."

Althena watched the display with mild interest, wondering why everyone was so upset all of a sudden. She yawned loudly, still sitting next to Ariel. All she did know was that they were apparently going somewhere, and the thought was very exciting. She liked going to all these new places, and she secretly hoped she'd be able to have a few more battles, too.

No, no, no. How could Nina possibly be afraid of what had happened, if she couldn't even remember what had happened in the first place? What the frigging hell?! the ghost thought as she flew westward throughout the city, heading for the neighboring Celadon. It can't be. It just doesn't make any sense. There must be someone nearby who's afraid of something. Yes. That's it.

Not bothering to go through the Western Gate and pass by the security guard inside, Anna elected to fly straight over the small building entirely. In doing so, she picked up on a nice, nighttime breeze-- it was warm, and typical of June weather. The month was only going to last three days more before July would roll around, and the temperature would spike up to be even hotter. Oh, goody.

Celadon looked beautiful during the night, just as Saffron did. Anna wondered what the other regions were looking like right now-- it had been so long since she had been home to Johto, and she'd never ever been to the Hoenn region. Well, not in this incantation of her life, anyway. Maybe she was a Torchic, or a Beautifly in her past life. Despite the fact that Anna was hatched from an egg, she was still the offspring of two Ghost Pokemon, who appeared in the world after two others had expired. And, just like her parents would, Anna would eventually dissipate when it was time. A new, living Pokemon would exist in her place. It was a cycle, really-- a Pokemon would live out its life through the decades, just like a human. When the fateful day came that it was time for it to die, it would. Following its death, perhaps a day later, a new Ghost Pokemon would appear somewhere in the world. This Ghost Pokemon was the reincarnation of the Pokemon that had passed on. The ghost would live out its afterlife, although for certain breeds of them, the time that passed would affect their body in different ways. For example, one calendar year may only equal one month of age for a Misdreavus, or one calendar year may equal two calendar years for a Gengar. Even the Pokemon themselves didn't quite understand the aging system.

Another mystery was which Ghost Pokemon would appear after a Pokemon would die. Did the living Pokemon itself determine what it would be incarnated into? Maybe all Water-type Pokemon came back as a Gastly, and Grass Pokemon came back as a Haunter. Maybe the trainer itself would inadvertantly determine the incarnation-- if the Pokemon was treated lovingly, it would become a Misdreavus, whereas if it was abused, it would become a Gengar. It was all so confusing.

After having all of those boggling thoughts running rampant through her head, Anna finally found herself at the entrance doors of the hospital. She hovered through them, recalling what it was like the last time she was here.

"Yeah, you're right," Kasiya agreed, also checking her watch. She couldn't very well carry seven Pokemon with her, and she felt as though she owed it to Dante to keep Levi with her, at least until the baby Mudkip became more familiar with her and some of her Pokemon. Then again, Levi was so adorable, it would be hard to not keep her with her. Motioning for Keegan and the Pokemon to follow, she lead them to the Pokemon Center, getting both Rosemary and Ariel healed up for good measure. Then, despite her plans to train with Rosemary a bit, she headed over to the PC and deposited her, with the promise that she'd give her other Pokemon a chance at some point as well. Levi looked on from her perch on the desk next to the PC with interest, seemingly amused by the clicking sound the keys made when Kasiya typed in her information. At the very least, the Bayleef had gotten in a small bit of training, and after Levi seemed to have adjusted to her new situation, then perhaps she could stay with the other Pokemon back in Pallet Town.

Once again Kasiya checked her watch, noting that they would have just enough time to make the ferry to Cinnabar Island. She wasn't sure how long they'd stay there, but at the very least, exploring the volcanic isle would be somewhat of an adventure.

Ky could definitely hear the frustration in Bugsy's voice and knew that he should probably leave before things turned worse. With an apologetic gulp, Ky recalled Little Guy into his Pokeball and then looked to Sting. "Help me carry him," he said, pointing to the Scyther. Ky then walked over to the defeated bug by the tree. With a nod, Sting flew over as Ky struggled to lift one of the bug's arms over his shoulder. Sting did the same, and though the Scyther's sharp arms dug into each of their sides as they carried him, Ky and Sting began to walk at a quick pace out of the gym. Ky hoped M.A. would do the same.

Ky didn't have to hope for it; M.A. didn't need much convincing after Bugsy's command. A haunted, constrained grin found itself on her lips once they all had evacuated the building and she felt a slight sweat at her brows -- goodness, that Gym leader kid had a way of unnerving people with that high sense of authority, even in his printed pajamas. What an amazing kid, she thought sheepishly, raking a hand through her brunette hair and consequently letting what was left of her bun loose. Although she still felt a bit of a woman's resentment (in other words, she felt a bit of a grudge, although she knew herself it wasn't /quite/ reasonable), she had noted that Bugsy had seemed pretty exhausted. Besides that, they had caused a LOT more trouble than he had caused them. In fact, the only thing he had really done was came in and accused them of being criminals asked what the hell happened, which was pretty expected.

While wandering about in her thoughts, evaluating what happened, and slowly letting her frustration with it all fade off, MA hadn't noticed that the world outside was currently pitch black (or would've been, if not for the dim street lights). Time seemed to have zipped away without the two, it seemed; she could've sworn it was morning not that long ago. Then again, they'd been up to . . . a lot of stuff, to put it simply. Including badly damaging the interior of an official, sanctioned Gym.

The girl sighed dejectedly. They really hadn't meant to cause any trouble. . . Man, and most of it was initiated by her, too; she was the one who went into the Gym when it was closed, she was responsible for Daemyn burning and soaking the place. Michael always had called her a walking disaster (by now, MA was in a depressive state, so she was taking all memories of his joking a little too seriously). Then again, there had to be a way of fixing it all. It wasn't like it was permanant damage or anything. After all, gym arenas had to be used to vigorous beatings, didn't they? And trees could grow again (of course, MA was forgetting that the tree they burned was pretty much dead). Well, they couldn't do much about it now. Either they'd help clean things up tomorrow or skip outta town in a hurry if Bugsy was still really ticked about their 'breaking in', though MA would certainly feel guilty for the rest of her life (yes, she was being a tad melodramatic) if they had to do the latter. At the moment, she just felt like crap, both physically and mentally.

The two bustled into the PokeCenter's doors moments later, finding a nodding Nurse Joy at the counter. How late was it? Or how early, if it was that late? The pink-haired nurse woke up with a start at the sound of their clambering over. "Ahh. . . Good morning, how might I--?" she asked dazedly, apparently not quite awake.

MA cut in. Note, Mary-Anne was beginning to realize that she was rather sleepy and tired herself, and a sleepy/tired/grumpy/self-detesting/moody/more or less upset and guilty/unreasonable MA is not a polite one. Ulani, the only Pokemon of hers who had stayed of her Pokeball, was somewhat bedazzled by her trainer's behavior -- it wasn't much like the typically cheerful, light-hearted MA that everyone had gotten accustomed to. "This Scyther's hurt, will ya take care of it? And I'll be heading off to bed," she snapped, really not feeling like herself at all. Then the girl stomped off down the corridor, Ulani hustling just to keep up.

Less than a minute later, a more timid MA returned. Apparently, she'd just realized how . . . well, y'know, how a**l she'd been, and was extremely apologetic. "I'm sorry. And uh, good night, Nurse Joy, Ky." Ridiculously moody? Yup. Prideful? Naw.

/OOC/ sorry if this rambled a bit too much. > 3>;

Mag made his way out the back door. There was a slightly fenced in backyardish area and beyond that were the acres and acres that the family used for their Pokemon Daycare. The place had its own lake, several smaller ponds, a forest, some fields, and even part of a mountain (not to mention that it was a bit volcanic at times). Mag gazed at the scenery but knew his Grandfather would be in a field if he was with his Snorlax. It hardly left that grassy plain.

Mag began walking up the trail to the field. Good thing it was close or he might have had to stay back. After about five minutes of walking Mag could make out the outline of a large blue and white blob with another smaller blob sitting on top of it.

It was hard to say what was on Ky's mind at the time. Despite all that had happened, his main concern was getting the Scyther to the Pokemon Center, and focusing his mind on that let him forget most of the other troubles he could've been thinking about. One thing he couldn't ignore though was M.A.'s change of mood. Her face had to have been as guilt-ridden as it could get, and Ky didn't really have the words or the energy to help relieve her of it. The fact that it was already deep into the night was actually quite depressing, and though he successfully brought the Scyther into good care, he wondered what was to be done for all the trouble he had caused. He had just been defending himself, but could he have done otherwise? All he could think of was 'no,' but he couldn't help but hang his head in shame.

M.A.'s return seemed to lighten his spirits; he would've told her not to go to bed with negative feelings, but it seemed she was already starting to relieve her own stress. "Good night, M.A." Ky said with a smile. "Don't worry, everything will be fine." Then, with a big yawn, Ky asked Nurse Joy to take care of Little Guy and Sting. It seemed Ky's recent adrenaline rush at the Gym had finally caught up to him as he teetered on his way to the nearest couch. It wasn't necessary for him to find a comfortable position. As soon as he felt his head hit the cushions, he was out.

Anna's eyes darted around as she floated throughout the hospital, making her way to the reception desk, straight down the hall. She noticed a bookish-looking man sitting behind the counter, scrawling something down on a piece of paper. "Excuse me sir," the ghost said, "I need your help, if you don't mind." The man looked up from whatever he was writing. He had a rather plain face, thick eyebrows, thin lips, and a nose as pointed as a hawk's beak. His nametag read 'Alexander.' "Yus?" he asked, a heavy tone in his voice. "Whutchu need?" Anna raised an eyebrow. "Could you please tell me the room number of Whitney Myers? I have a message to deliver to her." Alexander let out a prolonged sigh, and turned to his computer, pressing a few keys. He acted as if he was doing Anna the biggest favor in the world. "Myers. She's up'n room 211. Vis'tin' hours're almos' up though." He let out another sigh. "Yes, well... thank you very much," the Ghost Pokemon said, smiling, a hint of sarcasm dancing on her lips. She rose into the air, and passed through the ceiling.

Ending up in a long hallway, Anna looked around to see the numbers over the patients' rooms' doors. On the right side of the hall were the rooms with even numbers-- 202, 204, and the like. The left side had the odd-numbered rooms. 211, as it appeared, was at the very back of the hall. She made her way down the corridor, wishing to leave as soon as possible-- Anna never really liked hospitals all that much, especially since the incident with Nina had occurred where she was nearly killed due to a nurse's negligence.

Whitney was still very much alive, though. She was sitting up in bed, a little bandage around her head, talking with Raimundo.

"...king slow in this hospital," Anna had heard Whitney say, as she poked her head in the room, smiling a little bit. It was identical to the others-- medium-sized, it had its own bathroom, a TV set, and a nice, and a nice, large window in the rear, near Whitney's bed. "Hey, Whit. You feeling any better?"
"Anna!" the girl exclaimed, as she watched Nina's Pokemon flutter into the room. "Yeah, I'm doing okay. They treated me for some minor lacerations to the back of my head, and they checked my respiration and stuff. Oh, and they 'want to keep me overnight just so that nothing bad develops.' What the hell could develop? I hit my head in a pool and I got a cut. The worst that could happen is I get some headaches or something. Like, wow! Big deal." She rubbed her eyes. "And the service here is so slow. It was dinnertime twenty minutes ago and not one stupid nurse has come in with anything for me. Ugh. But, at least I've got Rai here for some company."
"Yes, I try to provide for entertainment." Everyone chuckled a little bit, and then it was quiet. "Anna. How's Nina doing?"
"Well, she's actually a part of the reason that I came here to visit you guys. You see..."

And then she proceeded to tell the Gym Leader and the trainer about what Nina believed to have been the cause for her attitude. She explained that Nina believed if she were to erase the root of what had caused her personality flip that everything would be okay-- and, so far, it seemed to be working. She explained how the entire procedure was taken care of, and how Nina requested that she be presented with the information of Sabrina and Professor Elm traveling to South America whenever questions arose of her sister's whereabouts.

Althena didn't have to be told to follow, she happily plodded along next to Ariel, feeling a sort of kinship with the fellow aquatic Pokemon. Since none of his Pokemon needed treatment, Keegan went over to one of the unoccupied PCs in the corner and logged in, quickly sending his mother an email about the Pokemon he was leaving in his deposit box, and also about Sheridan's change of heart. He looked at the Safari Ball once more before setting it on the tray, and smiled. "Be a good girl, Moeder," he told it before it vanished, returning safely to his hometown of Lavaridge. His mother must have been online at the time, because she replied rather quickly, letting her son know that Moeder was more then welcome at their home, and that they would take good care of her while she stayed with them. She also wrote that she was aware of the situation with Sheridan, and that she'd received a call several moments ago about Helios. This filled Keegan with relief, as he didn't want his mother to think that he'd bullied her into returning Helios to his care. He finished up with one last message, and then logged out, nearly tripping over Althena as he turned to see if Kasiya was finished. The Psyduck looked up at him sheepishly as she was recalled.

"Whenever you're ready to go," he told Kasiya, nodding. It was then he wondered just how they were getting to Cinnabar Island.
