Route 14 was littered with trainers that were just itching for a fight with someone. Nina, however, denied them all, but this time she didn't send anyone into the water like she had done with the rich boy; she did receive jeers from burly-looking Cue Balls and the like, but she ignored them.

"Their brains are smaller than a Rhyhorn's or a Slowpoke's, anyway," Nina said as she stepped foot onto Route 15. She was close to Fuchsia City, and was heavily considering going into the Safari Zone, just to see if she would be able to capture anything. Maybe throwing rocks at Pokemon would help to relieve some of this stress, Nina thought to herself.

...Holy crap, how could I have possibly just thought that?!

"Pardon me princess. I never knew it was a sin to watch another trainer battle." He nodded towards the Geodude. "Weren't you just squawking the rock over there for the same reason?" He uncrossed his arms, walking towards the very young girl. What a brat... Mike thought, keeping his annoyance suppressed.

Beacon walked forward and clamped onto its trainer's pant leg with his mouth, Mike chose not to care.

Meowth was releaved at the fact that he was released and managed to get stumble away from the viney pokemon. The Vine Whip though caused him to trip seeing as it hit his legs. Wincing slightly the cat pokemon picked itself up again and got farther away from the grass pokemon. Pausing for a moment Meowth could feel the poison inside of him getting stronger. Knowing he didn't have much time he decided to try out the new move that Dante had just given him. Dashing forward again towards the Tangela ready to use his new attack he jumped high at the last moment and let his claws out as he prepaired to do his version of Airial Ace.

"Princess!" Toph exclaimed finally turning towards Mike so that she could better yell at him. Walking over to him she paused as she stood in front of him and standing on her tip toes so that she was taller, the top of her head was at his chin now. She jabbed a finger at Mike's chest. "Dont call me that Grandpa, or I will hit you so hard you wont remember your own name!" She threatened. Her blank eyes staring up at him in a glare.

Edge who was watching this whole thing decided to keep out of this one and stood next to the Geodude who was crying at his rejection.

Kasiya ignored the strange looks she and Hiro were getting from people they passed. Hiro was a pretty intimidating sight though; not many people willingly crossed paths with an Arcanine. Kasiya directed the fire Pokemon down the same streets she'd traversed many times. Getting lost in Vermilion would never be an issue for her.

Vermilion gym came into view soon after that, and Kasiya grit her teeth as she spotted the gym's members gathered around outside. She didn't hear them shout to her as she and Hiro approached them, only stared at the door in anger. She jumped down from the Arcanine's back, and strode up to the large brass door. It was locked. She pounded on it with her fist, and waited. Nothing. She pounded again - longer, this time. Still nothing. With a simple wave of arm, all of Surge's subordinates stepped back, most of them wearing expressions of worry and fear. She too stepped back, and then gave a sharp nod. "Flamethrower." She jabbed of her finger toward the door; Hiro stepped forward, and opened his mouth. The heat from his attack was intense; it struck the door solidly. "Keep it up, Hiro," the girl encouraged, and soon enough, the Arcanine had melted a hole in the door large enough for the girl to crawl through.

"Allow me, Miss Kasiya," Mr. Reid said with a nod. He released a rather excited-looking Chinchou, who spouted a cool Water Gun on the melted brass, making it bearable enough for Kasiya to touch.

"Thank you," she nodded, recalling Hiro, and getting down on her hands and knees to crawl through the small opening. "Everyone, please wait here."

The boy raised an eyebrow, not intimidated by the pint sized child. "I'll have you know, my queen, that I am only 17 years old, far from ancient." He grabbed the little girl's arm. "However, just because you're young doesn't mean you can treat your elders like garbage. Someone should have taught you some manners!" He tossed her hand to the side, now fuming mad.

Beacon barked a few random noises at the girl, clearly not impressed either.

The attack hit its mark (obviously) and Tangela showed its displeasure by letting out an anguished cry. However, it chose to once again take advantage of the Meowth's proximity by lashing out with its vines. Once it had a hold of the cat Pokemon, it initiated its Giga Drain, and sapped a decent amount of health from its opponent, in turn healing itself.

"Tell that to the jury Old Man!" She shot back. Something about this boy annoyed her and she glared at him some more, even though it wasn't very focused. " And just because I dont use manner's doens't mean I dont have them." She shot back. As if to prove her point she turned her head to the side and spit fairly well for a little girl. Hearing Beacon off to the side she pointed at him. " And shut the hell up you stupid whale!" She exclaimed. For some reason the pokemon reminded her of the discriptions of whales some of her servents had told her about.

Hearing the other pokemon making annoyed sounds at his trainer Edge turned to glare at the other pokemon. It didn't matter if Toph was rude or not he would stick by her.

Meowth cried out at the Giga Drain as he felt his health drained from him. He wasn't in to good of a shape now but he knew it would be bad if he left this battle without doing at least a decent amount of damage. Recovering and landing back on his feet Meowth's breath was comming in pants now as the poison and that last attack was starting to take effect. Deciding to do his last attack again knowing that it wouldn't miss and that the flying move would do a lot of damage to the grass type Meowth charge and jumped up again landing another Airial Ace on the Tangela.

Elekid let out an annoyed snort. Seems like it had finally fallen asleep on top of Kilik's hair, warmed up by the black locks that he entangled himself in. The boy looked around for a moment, and let out a sigh. "Hopelessly lost," he groaned. He looked over his shoulder to see if there could have been another path he could have followed. Guess not.

Elekid snorted again and his left hand fell onto Kilik's cheek. The boy was shocked for a moment, thinking it was another HootHoot. However, he smiled and looked to his left. There was another path hidden behind a clumped bush. Kilik smiled. "Thanks, Elekid." He backed off a few steps and took a running start, hurtling over the bush and landing on the other side. He looked to his right, expecting a panel of judges to rate his jump. He imagined the numbers 8, 8, and 4. There was always that one judge who would rate lower than the others. Kilik brushed himself off and continued along the path, humming to himself again.

Kasiya wasn't surprised to see that the gym was pitch black inside, save for the small amount of light that filtered in through her custom made 'door'. She stood up, brushing the dust from her bare knees and looked around. "I've been coming to this place for a long time now, it should be no problem to navigate it in the dark," the girl smiled optimistically. She took five steps forward and promptly tripped over one of the garbage cans that made up the gym's puzzle, landing flat on her stomach for the second time that day.

"Oww..." she whimpered, pulling herself to her knees and releasing Shocker. "Flash," she mumbled, covering her eyes with her hands.

Shocker did as told, and soon the area was bright enough to see again. She wordlessly recalled the Raichu, and made her way forward. The gym's trap wasn't active, as the bolts of electricity that blocked the door to Surge's chamber weren't there. Not really sure what to expect, the girl passed through the arches that generated said electricity, and knocked gently on the door.

Beacon's eyes welled up at the comment. A little 'hic' sound escaped as he burst out crying, little sparks flying out of his tail.

Mike ground his teeth together, clenching his hands into fists and throwing them down, a stream of fire erupted from his gloves, blanketing the ground and walls beside them. The sound was almost deafening, followed by the trainer's screams of rage as the inferno churned all around him. The temperature instantly soared, as Mike let out a cry. "You can insult me all you want, but when Beacon suffers it is you who will be sorry!!" The boy was now almost wreathed in flames, the bright light from the flames casting an an almost demonic shadow on the boy. Smoke filled the cavern, rushing to the larger room behind them. The jet stream of fire still raged from his hands.

"Apologize. Right NOW!" He yelled. "You will show me respect!"

Toph blinked feeling the heat in her face and smelling the smoke in the air now. More supprised then anything Toph 'stared' at the boy in front of her. "Where did the fire come from?" She asked while sniffing the air not quite sure what was going on. Though she could sense that Mike was mad at her but other then that she was confused. Suddenly a thought struck her that caused her to grin. "Hey, you stood your ground. You didn't back away or immediatly agree with me like those whimpy servents do. Or you didn't tone it down because I am a little blind girl. You know what?" She asked. Then not waiting for a reply she said it anyway. "I like you, you have guts and dont take s**t from anyone." She then laughed at her own comment clearly not mad or irritated anymore. Though she still wasn't going to appologize.

Edge who watched the flames appear surrounding the boy was a bit scared himself his ears going down slightly in fear. He wouldn't allow himself to show anything else, his crazy trainer stood up to the flames so he would to, it probably helped that she couldn't see him though. The Geodude on the ground was hopeless though and was crying even harder.

With a loud 'pop' the fuel from the gloves ran out, the devices just sputtering smoke. The immediate area was all black and charred, the rocks covered in soot. Mike panted, lowering his arms after wiping some sweat from his forehead. He didn't care that she was blind, mannerisms are for everyone. After catching his breath, he pointed to his sobbing Pokemon. "Say it. I'll have no hesitation to be meaner."

After his brisk walk Mag had entered into Cerulean City. He looked about himself and decided to go to the Pokemon Center to get his pokemon checked up since they had battled recently and could probably use some rest. He walked into the center and up to the counter.

"Hello." Nurse Joy stated as she put a tray of pokemon onto the counter. "Hi," Mag replied, "could you check them up?" He asked as he had all four of his pokemon out on the counter. "Sure can." she replied to his reply. "Thanks." Mag moved over to the couch and sat down awaiting the healing process to end.
