I do not know how it is in your time, but change does not come easily where I am from. And what if I could change it...? I was completely satisfied before I came her. Why should I ruin that for the rest of the world just so I can go on living comfortably?

I dinna know that 'tis possible te change yer entire world . . . *thinks for a moment* and yet, perhaps there are those who already live differently from the life ye know. Surely not e'eryone can be the same?

Torment slowly faded in, his eyes cast to the floor as his shades slowly slipped off his nose. They fell and landed with a metallic clang that betrayed their true nature. Torment looked up, his clouded grey eyes rimmed with tears as he slinked back against the bar and slid to the floor, knnes pulled close to his chest, arms locked around them. He rested his forehead upon his knees and quietly spoke to someone that wasn't there, "I'm so sorry Kalie...."

"You ok?..." *he was about to say something more when he heard a voice behind him... he knew that voice... Smiling broadly he turned*

Torment looked up to Maggie when she addressed him, but only gave her a quick smile and a short wave as his head fell back to his knees.
