And ruin the whole point of the Snag Mall? Not likely.
I'm not saying that something should change, or that the way things work now is bad.
I just prefer to blame a fictional character instead of, say, my own laziness in not checking the Sarcophagus every single day like I should have been. Although I've been getting better about it. At least, I'd like to think so.
The checking every day, not the blaming fictional characters. I'm still bad about that. I'mma shut up now.

It wouldn't ruin the purpose! It would just provide another avenue. Like the difference between going to a store and ordering online. In one, you get instant gratification, but there's a chance that what you want isn't there. In the other, you can get exactly what you want, you just have to wait a bit longer.

There are twenty-three images that compromise three held items each in Nebu's shop. Currently the image that appears is completely random, no set order, so even if you check every day for a month you might not find the item you want at all for that month, as there is only on average seven days that allow for repeats. As such I plan on cutting this number in half by combining sets together, cutting the number down from twenty-three to eleven, or twelve. That sound better?

@Hawk: Might want to check with Sub all the same.
@Sub: Thought I said I'm not trying to change how things work? Still, better to fix the problem before someone complains for real, I guess. Do what you want. You've put enough work into the Snag Mall that surely you deserve that right, at the very least.

Personally, I don't see the allure of playing a pre-established character. You have to know them pretty well to portray them accurately, and there's only just so much that movies, games, and such tell you. Much easier and more satisfying to utilize one's own creation. If one is creation-minded, that is.

'Fun' is the whole point of roleplaying, my good man. I guess the idea of fun differs from person to person, though.

FUN?
THE REASON WE HAVE ROLEPLAYING IS THAT WE CAN SEE OUR HEARTS EVEN IF WE CAN'T SEE EACH OTHER.
FUN IS A BYPRODUCT OF LETTING OUR HEARTS SHINE IN THE DARKNESS OF THE INTERNET, ENSHROUDED BY AN EVEN DARKER WORLD.
