Ayase jumped with surprise and flinched, as if expecting to be hit, then lowered his gaze. "Yes, Master..." he whispered, trembling and wishing he knew the code to open that door. He wanted to set Miki free. He wouldn't be able to bear it if his only friend were hurt...He would do anything to take that punishment along with his own.

 Taking as much time as he wanted as he peeled the skin away, when it was finally off leaving the peach juicy and white and skinless, the man took a bite as sweet juice burst into his mouth. Relieved for something juicy to revitalize him after the long hours in the lab, he continued to eat it until only a little left, beckoning his pet to come close, he gestured for the fox to take the last bite.

Blushingly, Ayase obeyed, moving close to his master, and when he was commanded by mere gesture, he again obeyed, leaning forward and taking the last bite. The cute kitsune couldn't help himself as the sweet juice filled h is mouth. "I-it's sweet!" he exclaimed happilly, munching down on it before reluctantly swallowing it and looking up at his master. Perhaps he wasn't so much angry as he was exhausted..? But then why would be lock the door...?

"Y-yes, master!!" Ayase hurried to obey, rooting through the food that was once meant for him and finding another peach. He quickly grabbed a knife and began to peel it, trying to get only skin off and none of the flesh of the fruit. As he peeled, he hurried so that his master wouldn't have to wait long, but because of this, he ended up sinking the knife into the vulnerable flesh between his thumb and forefinger, past the tendons there, slicing through the nerves and causing extreme agony to fill the kitsune. A yelp escaped his lips as blood spilled down his arm, but he was determined to obey his master, so he weakly began to continue to peel the peach, making sure no blood tainted the sweet fruit as he kept his sobs to himself, tears of agony spilling down his face.

Ayase finished and, with his undamaged hand, held the peeled peach up to his master's mouth. "Here, ma--a-ster..." he choked out. The agony was almost unbearable, but he would not draw attention to it nor would he ask his master for help. He didn't care about the large puddle of blood forming on the floor as the color left his face again and his head began to swim. He would complete his master's command if it cost him his life.

The usagi sat and watched as all of this was taking place. Something about the way the scientist carried himself and spoke, it made the usagi feel frozen inside. He kept wondering as well why the kitsune kept being so obedient. What was it more of, love or fear? He starred at the scientist, but then his eyes widened as he saw his friend was bleeding. "Ayase!" he dropped his fear to run to his friend's side. He gently grabbed his hand and placed his other one over the wound, letting out that pale white blue light to seal the damaged nerves and flesh. he couldn't believe how badly he had cut himself.

"N-no!" Ayase cried out, pulling his hand out of Miki's grasp and shaking his head warningly. Kumiawa hadn't given Miki permission to heal Ayase. Ayase would have to bleed in agony until his master deemed it time to either have Miki heal him or stitch him up himself. Nothing would happen without his master's permission.

SpReAd ThE lOvE //_______________________________________________ when I say His tongue peeked out to take a lick at the peach, licking the juice, before taking a bite. He continued to eat it despite the boy’s pool of blood nor was he surprised to see the usage’s healing powers but had more of a look of expectance before quickly hiding a frown on his face. Eating until all there was left was the core, he reached down to hold the vein of green grapes and popped one into his mouth before putting one on his fox’s lips, willing the boy to open and take the fruit.

Anger began filling the usagi's eyes again. he was able to at least heal [part of the wound, so it wasn't as deep and threatening anymore. but it kept bleeding. He began to increasingly hate this man for instilling such fear into the kitsune. And something deeply disturbed him about Kumiawai as well...what was it? And then he realized....he couldn't look into him. He couldn't read anything inside of him. Nothing.

SpReAd ThE lOvE //_______________________________________________ when I say His eyebrows rose. “Ayase…you should let your…good friend heal you… do you think he should?” The question was a little odd but the way he said it made it sound like the answer to it would be the fate of the world as he masked his face so that the two cannot see what he wants as he waited for an answer.
