 Mort sensed a presence dissapearing and thought it was Zero. "Where are you going?" She asked him softly, not bothering to catch up with him.

He stops and closes his eyes.
"I'm going to... go... see... Sakura's father... and... there are a few things I need to do first..."
He turns to them and gives a fake smile.
"But... I... I promise I'll be back after a while..."

Mort reached up to his face and placed a hand on his cheek then whispered. " Why must your smile be so fake? You do not have to smile for the pleasures of other's." She then dropped her hand and had a good picture of his face in her mind, although she was never sure if she was right.

He leans in a nd whispers so that only she could hear.
"I am trying to smile but can't... Sakura's father... who is also my brother has died... and... since he has died... my death will be soon... but... I don't want her to know... I'm sorry... and I hope this helps you know what I look like..."
He sets his hand on her forehead and sends a detailed mental image of exactly what he looked like then sighed and began walking away again.

Mort grabbed his wrist. "I'm sorry." she said looking at him. "Goodbye." She said and dropped his wrist to let him go as he pleased. She held him back for too long, hee had somewhere to be.

He nods with a sad look about his face and walks off towards the ancient village of were beasts.
((If you want to know what happened when he got there... just go back a few pages in it... I had to make the story mesh back up again...))

Mort bowed to him before he left. Her heart sank a bit. Eventhough she barely knew the boy, she knew how hard death could be. Anyways that was her first name. She turned and walked back to Sakura, hoping she hadn't read her mind and had found out what was going on. She adjusted her eyepatch over her eye, not like it did anything since she was blind in both, but it did hide the tear that had fell from it.

Sakura didn't hear anything about zero and death but about her being blind, she then looked down, "i see so you are also blind." she says remembering her aunt cheshire.

Mort sighed. "Yeah, wasn't much of a good idea on my part." She said remembering the time that she went blind. Those were her crazy days.... until she turned half dead.

Mort tilted her head. "Where is she?" She asked the girl. She pretty much knew almost everything about her. She might as well just tell her about her brother and everyting... or just stop thinking.... that'd be hard to do.
