[The Flying Dutchman ~ Captain's Quarters]
Elleon smiled and stood, cracking her knuckles out of habit. "Well then, let's get started."
The blonde stood silently, not precisely sure how to go about creating those creatures. A manifestation of their strongest emotions, that's what Ajora had said they were. So that's all it took, right? Like an expression of emotion, such as shouting or crying, minus the drama. And so she began, closing her eyes and concentrating on "those pesky emotions" that she was so good at keeping down. It started as Ajora's did, a writhing coagulation of darkness, and grew. A great deal of what she put in it was hatred--not anger, but contempt for anything and everything. Then came disappointment, something she felt strongly and often. A flurry of different things flashed, one after another, all contributing to the formation of the writhing cloud of darkness before her. Before it was complete, she realeased one more thing. Sorrow. It was strangely one thing she had a lot of. And she wasn't very happy about this.
When she felt it was finished, Elleon opened her eyes and saw before her a strange, almost grotesque creature. It was faintly humanoid, but also strangely avianesque as well. The Replica made a face expressing slight disgust overpowered by interest.
"Have at." She said, crossing her arms as her eyes continued to trail over the monster.
[The Black Pearl ~ Sleeping Quarters]
Noelle frowned when Jenny only gave her a silent nod. She knew Jenny probably didn't think there was a lack of fault on her part. Not knowing what else to do, the agromancer pulled Jenny into a tight hug. She hoped she could convince her to at least feel a little less guilty about it. That smile fooled no one.
"Here I am trying to convince you that there's no reason to feel guilty when I still feel the same way." Noelle said with a small chuckle, though the laugh had no joy in it. "You are a very kind, thoughtful, and loving person, Jenny. And don't ever let anyone make you think or feel otherwise. Okay? I like you too much to bear seeing you upset."

[[Louis : Caribbean Sea : Black Pearl - Upper Deck]]
Louis walked out to the surface, observing the overcast sky, sighing to himself as he moved to the railing to look out into the distance and try to spot land, or ship anywhere on the horizon.
On the surface, Louis lifted his gaze from the horizon and into the sky, smiling as the wind blew across his face, lifting his hair and spirits, carrying with it the sweat smell of the ocean. It seemed strange he'd never recognized it before. He'd lived near the sea his whole life and had been to the beach on numerous occasions. This sensation of nostalgia was relaxing, soothing, something he'd yet to feel in what felt like an eternity.
Deeper in his mind, Louis was secretly worrying for everyone on the ship, for their states of mind and worries, but to his despair he knew helping them was far out of his reach. To them, he was an outsider, someone incapable of understanding their plight, and in essence, it was true.
Deeper still, the arcanist felt uneasy, a feeling he shook away like uncertain worrying that held no purpose.
Another sigh escaped his lips as he spun around and leaned back, looking at the mast then up the stairs to the captain sailing the ship, Jenny looked so troubled when she looked at Joe... I was just getting in the way. I hope that idiot isn't trying to over exert himself... hell, who am I kidding... he's probably trying to stand up right this second.
The Arcanist laughed out loud as the thought hit him, "Like anyone could find a clean cup on this ship anyway. They're all mugs and soaked in rum and scum."
Louis rolled around on his hip against the railing and looked out to sea again, dragging his fingernail over the wood, lifting it to eye level with a disgusted look. Then a smile crossed his face, soft, gentle, content, one absent from the crooked, gloomy world surrounding him. Darkness flowed over his hand a few seconds later, sanitizing the hand of all imperfections as he almost giggled, Filthy pirates.

[Alan :: Hawaiian Village]
Improprietous imbecile . . . Alan shot Demyx a brief withering look before deciding it was a waste of time to confront him. No emotions, right? Besides, Jon and the new girl were talking. He nodded pensively as Jon spoke, then turned to Bobbi.
"You're right about Ooze. And, um, we don't know for certain, but I think we're all assuming that was Terra. Axel, Yuffie, Beatrix . . . they were all on our side. They're under mind control, so to speak. Um, Ooze stole away the adults in the city, and took over the Power Rangers' base. They've gone to the Ninja world to get new powers. That's about it, I think? But . . . you may be right about Mickey. The thought occurred to me, as well. I don't know if I'd say armies, though. Allies, definitely. I mean, he didn't exactly procure soldiers from the Land of Dragons. Either way, we'll probably find him with the Galactic Federation people."
Alan frowned deeply, reflecting on what Jon had said: "I'm no strategist...What do you think?"
"I'm no strategist, either. I wish Beatrix was here. Figures they'd take our bloody military type person."

[Jenny :: Black Pearl :: Sleeping Quarters]
The mage felt the tears sting the edge of her eyes again as Noelle took her in a tight embrace. She struggled to keep her vision from blurry and mentally scolded herself for turning on the waterworks. Slowly, Jenny brought her arms up to clutch at Noelle's back, returning the hug; as if she was desperate for the contact.
How could she forget, all the replicas had done something unforgivable. Yet, here Jenny was, wallowing in pity. Noelle stood strong, so did Kyle and Joe... and Jenny was just bawling her eyes out. She bit down on her lip to stop the tears and nodded into Noelle's shoulder.
"I'm sorry, I'm being so immature," Jenny murmured quietly between gasps for air. She had to be strong. "Thank... you."

[The Black Pearl ~ Sleeping Quarters]
Noelle sighed. It seemed like her pep-talks were getting more and more lousy by the minute. Perfect. She just wanted to make Jenny feel better and hated that she wasn't doing a good job at it.
"Oh, no Jenny!" The blonde said, cringing slightly, "No-no, you're not being immature. There is nothing wrong with the way you feel. It's just that you don't have to feel this way, that was what I was trying to get at. I'm just going to . . . stop there, I'm probably not helping. Let's talk about something else. You're not hurt are you?"

[Jenny :: Black Pearl :: Sleeping Quarters]
Jenny gasped and sat straight up, pulling out of Noelle's hug. She quickly wiped her eyes of any tears that might of welled up and waved her arms frantically before her. Jenny fretted, her arm waving getting faster and faster as she stared into Noelle's eyes.
"I didn't mean it like that! You are helping! I'm really grateful, I'm grateful for all of you," Jenny murmured quietly as she finally dropped her arms back into her lap. She smiled as best she could, thought past her wet eyes and red nose... it was probably a very humorous sight."Jenn, you nose gets red when you cry. You're like Rudolph! Hahaha..." Her brother's lighthearted laugh rang through her mind. That Rudolph ornament he got her for Christmas to go the the tree they didn't have. Jenny smiled at the memory and took hold on Noelle's hand. "No, I'm not hurt, not that I know of. Are you?"

{Bobbi, Demyx .:. Hawaii .:. Village Center}
When one of the kids she didn't know (she was going to have to run around making introductions some time soon) - Alan - spoke, Bobbi looked at him, chewing her lip a little. When he was done, she shook her head.
"I've only played a couple of turn-based strategies, so I'm no good at this stuff, either," she admitted. She then looked over at Alan, still biting her lip, and tried to stress how important the situation at Disney Castle was. "But, um... gah, I can't just call you 'kid,' I'd have a bajillion Chrono Cross references in my head then. But, dude, I just flew in from Disney Castle and no, Mickey is gathering armies. Three of them, including the entire Chinese nation - or at least as much of China as was in the Land of Dragons - showed up at Disney Castle this morning. There's also part of the Al Bhed and a whole 'nother force I'd never heard of. I think Merlin said they were Ivalician? It sounds familiar."
Demyx noticed Alan's scathing look, and just grinned. He knew he was being obnoxious. But while he was laying on the idiot facade, he was paying very close attention to everything being said. Really, he was more interested in getting his heart back, like when he joined up with Xemnas. Right now it seemed like these Earth kids and the mouse king were his best bet in reaching his goal.
Still, he needed to stay in character, at least around this group.
"What, all of China is at Disney Castle? Isn't that, like, a few million people?"
"You suck at listening, Dem."

[ Kyle : Caribbean : Pearl's Lower Decks ]
"I can't say anything for sure... but you need to stay away from the Darkness," he said, looking at her almost protectively, fatherly- a trait he picked up from practically raising his brother. "I doubt he plans to directly attack your hand- meaning this is just an entry point for the magic. Chances are, he plans for it to be a slow process- hence why he said 'if you're not careful'."
"If I had to take a guess, this is a seed of Darkness. Adding any additional Darkness would act as fuel for growth, allowing it to get closer to your heart," he explained, glancing back down at the seal. He wanted to touch it, but at the same time, realized his touch might stir a negative reaction. "It might even grant you a boost of power from the Darkness... but whatever you do, don't accept it, don't seek it out. The closer this gets to your heart... well, you may end up like James."

[ Ajora : Caribbean : Captain's Quarters ]
Ajora eyed the creation with a look of genuine interest, sincere curiosity. It was all very intriguing, figuring out what a person's inner demons would look like if given form. Might have even given a piece of insight... a possible weakness.
Or maybe he was just a nosy b*****d.
The earth shamaness has a bird-like Unversed... interesting.
Ajora walked up and placed his index and middle finger just above the creature's forehead. He then held out a hand toward Elleon. "Gimme your hand and think about how you want its human form to look. I'll just be the conduit."

[The Black Pearl ~ Sleeping Quarters]
Noelle gave Jenny a worried, half-hearted smile as her shoulders sank and back slouched a little. Her free hand went to touch her neck at the question of injuries. Kuro Oni gave her one hell of a squeeze, more than enough to make her neck black and blue nearly all around. She hadn't been able to see it, though, so she didn't know what damage was done aside from being sore to the touch. As her fingers made contact with her neck through her jacket, which the hood of concealed any injury very well, the agromancer jumped slightly and pulled away. Moving her head around was no problem, but to actually touch the area was painful. Noelle pulled her hood off and tugged at the scarf to give Jenny a look at her neck.
"I'm okay with the exception of this," She said, lifting her chin and turning it to the side slightly, "Am I bruised? It sure feels like it."

[Jenny :: Black Pearl :: Sleeping Quarters]
The shock in Jenny's voice was audible as Noelle tugged down the scarf. There was bruising around the neck, vaguely in the shape of a hand. Jenny frowned as she tried to recall when Noelle got hurt, everything had felt like so long ago. Then she remembered; when the Black Pearl came under attack... the negator... the Replicas... Kuro Oni. Jenny clenched her hand momentarily before she lifted it towards Noelle's neck, taking great care not to touch it, at least not after the way she saw Noelle flinch when she herself touched it.
"Not going to lie, it looks pretty nasty," Jenny responded solemnly as she hand hovered by the agromancer's neck. Then, calling a familiar song, the clock rune glowed to life and slowly rewound its hands and in correspondence, the bruises also slowly faded from existence. The mage sighed and dropped her hand back. How were they ever going to defeat their replicas?

[John.:Hawaiian Village]
There was something weird about it. Being in a fantasized version of an American state. He knew, however, that the ocean that surrounded the island would not lead to the mainland United States, but just continue on forever until he circled back around and hit the island. What he wanted to do is have a conversation with one of the villagers about what exactly Hawaii was to them... but he knew that was futile. Even if there was some sort of parallel fantasy version of earth, the other parts would be cartoon as well... his family wouldn't be there.
The villagers were quite helpful in their information and their reception. It was expected, sure, but nevertheless helpful. The Chinese were supposed to be allies, and John witnessed first hand how an ally could be a pretentious fantasized jerk...He continued to just hold small conversations with the villagers.

Jacob ll Brig
"Kyle. I know it's never been done, but...Would it be possible to scuttle the Dutchman? Not cripple, like in the movies. I'm talking explosive barrels to chunk out the hull. Is there some reason they're lugging the ship around anyway? Can't they just use corridors of darkness to instantly blink to where they need to be? Or do they only like the boat for the pirate crew to act as muscle and fodder? It seems like it. It seems like the replicas only need the boat so they have extra baddies between us and them. I want to remove them." Jacob said with a little gleam in his eye. "You're right, we need allies, but so do they. Also! I know that you and James and Noelle talked about another group...The Queen's Quest? Would it be possible to swap out, so to say? Get all the strongest people here for the next confrontation, then send them back or...Sorry. I'm thinking out loud. I've not a good tactician or nothin' but...All I can do is think. But what do you think?"

[Alan :: Hawaiian Village]
Alan misread the situation, apparently. "Oh," he said, "I didn't realize you were at Disney Castle. Sorry. Um, wow. All of China? Including non-fighters? I'm with Demyx on this one. That's . . . a lot of people. Even if the Land of Dragons is a bit smaller. Which . . . I mean . . . well, we can talk about that later." He looked around at the number of villagers in the area, clearly unwilling to discuss some of his thoughts on the nature of worlds in the presence of so many non-earthlings. The others might get upset again.
"My name's Alan, by the way. It's nice to meet you."
Alan's demeanor at this point was a bit strained. It was like he was trying too hard to not be in a bad mood. Which was true.

[Dawn : Caribbean Sea : Brig of the Pearl] Dawn looked up and met Kyle's eyes as he explained his theory on the Ultima's seal on her hand. She felt her heart sinking as more words were spoken. How was she supposed to stay away from Darkness? How was she supposed to fight this? Dawn felt lost inside. What if she would fail at keeping this Darkness under control? How could she fight something like this, alone? Would she really end up like James is now? Dawn looked down at her feet once more as she started to feel a couple of tears in her eyes. She really wished he was here right now. Even Bobbi, along with Michelle. Someone to help keep her strong. A hug from a friend to tell her it would be alright. Dawn started to wrap her arms around herself, and rub her arms with her hands. As if she felt a sudden chill. It was the best she could do to keep herself from falling apart at the moment. As she stood there, her mind drifted to Bobbi and Michelle. She wished that they were here to help get James back. At the same time she was glad they weren't. For they didn't have to see James suffer at Ajora's hand, and follow after the replica like a mindless zombie just moments later. "If you want to save him, you have to crush him!" She shook her head, at both the memory of Ajora's words and Jacob's plan. "They got James," Dawn said trying her best to keep sadness from her voice, "We can't fight all of them. We must save him...There has to be a way."
