Feeling the need for a little different area Liada enters Kathy's and is silently escorted to a secluded corner of the Grill. Thanking the server as he brings her drink order she gives a simple huff of amusement and pulls out a couple books for some light reading. They were the second and third volumes of the Hunger Games book series that she kept hearing was a big rave and she had gone through the first book so quickly from how simple the writing was. Another moment the server brought her something to snack on and she thanked him again as he swiftly left as he appeared. Peeling open the cover Liada sipped her drink as she scanned the words in peace.

:: wanders in after her shift at AS. She remembers Draa mentioning staying here before when he didn't have anyplace else, though he always said the staff was really creepy, so she wasn't sure she wanted to try it. sweatdrop Sleeping outside wasn't very fun, though. As she looks around, the staff keep their distance so as not to scare her off. ::

Halfway through her book Liada puts it down to nibble on her food and she glances up around the room. Noticing a familiar face Liada waves the elf down. Hey Miro! Over here! Wanna join me? whee

 Miro its me, Liada. Fox Lady person. Seeing that Miro still hadn't moved from her spot and was hiding behind her hands she thinks of an idea. I can order cake for you.

Before Miro arrived at the table one of the servers places a plate of a mini cake for her and a plate of warm baked potato soup for Liada. Thanking the server Liada smiles as Miro plops down in her chair and prepares to feast on the dessert. I haven't seen you in forever, how are you?

Oh really? That sounds like a lot of fun, how are you liking it so far? She digs into her soup as she listens to the elf.

It's... work I suppose sweatdrop Miro hasn't really had to work before. She mostly just robbed corpses and sold their belongings sweatdrop

Can't help but freeze for a moment at the words the elf says. Liada just stares at her for a moment mid bite of her soup. Granted she's done her fair share of looting and pillaging as a merc but she didn't really see the same kind of lifestyle for a priestess like Miro. Swallowing she gives a giggle to lighten the mood. sweatdrop Well it may seem a little hard at first but you'll get the hang of it in no time. You might even learn to like it. What made you want to start working?

Miro didn't really want to. She had to. Miro needed monies and she can't go back to Norrath. sad And Tes and Ryzan don't want Miro around anymore, so she can't depend on them to help her cry

Not surprised that the dark elves shooed the girl out since she sensed that tension around Ry when speaking of Miro. Well granted the circumstances are a little dire but having a little dirt under your nails never hurt anyone. It would probably do you some good to have some work experience under your belt. If you're not staying with Ry and Tes where are you staying currently?

Looking at the time she is about to turn and ask for a box when the server holds one out for her as well as the bill. Ah thank you, Sorry to do this Miro but its getting late. I hope the new job works out for ya and if you ever need anything lemme know. Handing the paid bill to the server who puts another plate of cake for Miro she is assured that the elf will be watched over during the rest of her stay in Kathy's Gnight Mir! Waving she heads out the door and off for the Den.
