Hmm well. Here we go.

An Arrancar voyaged to the moon. He's not an important character but s/he's brought news that the moon is actually populated by a race of powerful and peaceful Arrancar. There's a reason for this of course. If you live on the moon you won't be subjected to Lunacy by looking at it, you can never picture the whole thing at once.


Anyway. There is another important thing about this place. It's that it contains some new material which can be forged into Arrancar's Zanpakto and Shinigami's probably too. It gives the wielder a new coat of armour.

Of course, this is all good and well, it means the Arrancar are more powerful than ever before until they discover something about it.

You aren't wearing it. The stuff wears you. Like a suit. You are subjected to it's whims and wills and it wishes only for one thing. It is looking for it's sister metal which is found in the Spiritual Sun of the Sereitei.

The invasion is quickly mounted by the Iron-Clad Arrancar as they will now be called. They open their way into the realm of Shinigami and begin to travel to the sun.

Upon arrival they find the huge crystal sun and that's where things really start getting bad. The Iron-Clad Arrancar are left by the strange metal and the two unite. Forming the almighty new force. The Iron Sun. It's darkness is slowly destroying the Seireitei.

It seems like a victory for the Arrancar but mere minutes later they find that all the Arrancar and Hollows in Hueco Mundo have gone raving mad apart from those stronger in the mind who are able to resist. Also those who haven't looked at the moon.

The two forces team up but they have to retreat to ground level and fight a geurilla war against the Iron Sun. It has the power to create Iron Shinigami and Iron Hollows armed with crystal weapons.

We fight a war against the Iron Shinigami who are all unique, wheras the Hollows are foot soldiers. We slowly eliminate each commander which links the Iron Sun to it's armies until finally we've destroyed them all. Thus allowing us to attack the Iron Sun without fear of the death of innocents.

We attack the sun but cannot find it's weakspot and it keeps stopping our attacks. It seems Shinigami and Arrancar cannot harm it. Yet.

Someone, I don't know who, has stolen one of the weapons of the Iron Shinigami, it seems only their crystal weapons can cut through the suns defenses.

We have to all arm ourselves with these and destroy it but we have to defeat a whole new army for that to happen. Then we destroy the sun in a battle where everyone takes part.

Everyone involved gets to keep a crystal Zanpakto as a memento but it loses all it's powers as the sun dies. We are victorious. The status quota it set back to normal and everyone parts but new bonds have been born.

It's not a good idea to petition it though. The more people who know the plot the more boring it'll be for those involved.

You understand what I'm saying? On the off chance it does get accepted via petition everyone knows what's going to happen!

Well I'd love to have you involved. Heck. I want every goddamn person involved if this passes.

It's not that good though. When we come down to it it is in all honesty a very basic story. Why don't you give it a go. I'm sure you can write something better yet!

I'm very weak when it comes to writing stories. However I can, easily, throw myself into a pre-written and mapped out situation. I won't stop trying though.. I'll make something. x3!

That is one awesome idea pad, now I just need to create a better one.

@Pad: Your ideas are all well and good, and very creative, but I don't think they will entirely work for a couple reasons.
First.. Create ANOTHER race? We barely have anything to do with the Zaigou, and we have enough trouble balancing out what to do with all of the races we have already. The last thing we need is a new race.
Second.. Who would role-play as this ultimate god-thing? I can't think of anyone that I would trust to do it that would have time, and even those that I would trust to do it, walk a thin line involving that trust.
For the moon.. I say that it could work, but only if you cut out the arrancar on the moon part. Even then I'm iffy about it..

And now for my idea..

Bikou, in cooperation with Kycorp (I assume that Kycorp is against the shinigami, considering that Ky wants to be exequias), creates a device that allows arrancar, and only arrancar, to masquerade as shinigami for a set period of time. This device completely masks their reiatsu, whether they want it to or not, and is flawless in its ability to create a new appearance for the arrancar.
Using this device, Las Noches plants spies in Soul Society, gleaming information and learning all that they can about how to take apart the hierarchy, and ultimately obliterate SS.
To mask this event, a FAKE abduction will take place, where several arrancar, masquerading as Shinigami, are kidnapped and taken back to hueco mundo, where the resume their arrancar selves, and wait.
As the captains go on a wild-goose chase into Hueco Mundo, arrancar infiltrate the squads, and begin to sabotage vital equipment, and booby-trap the hell out of the place. When they are finished, the arrancar who were shinigami resume their shinigami appearance, and allow themselves to be "rescued." When the arrancar attack Soul Society, the spies from within change back to their former selves, and catch the shinigami in a pincer movement.
The shinigami will be caught off guard by t he booby-traps, betrayal, and confusion, which will give the arrancar a massive advantage.
