"What about me? I'm ok, so is Pahua!" Lex said, "Now, Luxran I don't know about...." The baby yawned in her arms and shifted position, still asleep.

"Hmm...I don't know..." But Lex wasn;t really paying any attention. She played with the baby in her arms. "Where are we going now? Luxran will just have to find us! We need to get somewhere safe. And I'm hungry."

"I agree. Luxran's smart enough to find us." Shaydra scanned the area. A few men lurking out in the darkness of night looked out suspiciously toward the odd group. "I suggest we go out into the woods again; These people don't look to friendly."
Shaydra examined herself for injuries. There were several bruises, cuts, but nothing serious. She noticed a wolf bite on her wing but took no heed of it. She looked up to the sky; the full moon was partially dimmed behind a cloud. "And it's dark, that should help."

zinc nodded from beneath his hood "I also agree. The forest Is much safer than any town by far. Other than silverstine but thats another story. Lets just go. I hate being around such ugly buildings."

Shaydra nodded, then snapped open her wings, kicking into the air with a large jump. She spiralled high enough to be mistaken for a bird, then sped toward the eastern town wall.

"Into the woods, eh? Finally, I can get some food!" Lex smiled shifted into her tiger state, picking the baby dragon up in her mouth like a mother tiger would carry her cub. She sped off in the same direction as Shaydra, leaving a "see ya there!" over her shoulder.

The town wasn't very big and Shaydra flew fast, and soon she was cresting down into a patch of grass just outside the town. Her feet touched the ground and she galloped a few feet before coming to a rest. Turning around, she called back over the wall softly to Lex, "You might want to fly, there's no breach in the walls!"

"Walls?" Lex said to herself, "Darn it!" She jumped high in the air and shifted into her dragon state, better to hold Pahua. She quickly reached Shaydra and shifted back into a human, wasting no time to lay herself and the baby down on the soft grass. She watched the sky as the baby kept on sleeping.
