Rin followed Someria out of the room. When there was a door between them and Veru, Rin sighed. "You sure you're just pissed about unpacking? Or did Veru piss you off earlier?" It was a serious question, she wasn't joking about it. "Or did Thia do something?"

Rin started toward her room.

Veru swallowed the leafy greens and tossed his tray with the others. "Ugh. No more rabbit food."

Thia lay on her bed, thinking about when she met Rin. "Scared the crap out of her, and then got her in trouble..."

Rin opened her door, stepped inside, and locked it behind her. She walked over to her bed and flopped down onto it. "Thia hasn't killed her roommate yet. One good thing. Someria seems more worried than I thought. Probably about more than she's told me yet. I'm going to need all the rest I can get..." Rin lay her head down on the pillow and drifted into a light sleep.

Veru walked back to his room and opened the door to a pillow flying right for his face. He didn't have time to dodge, so he got smacked in the head. "OW!"
Thia walked past him, with her bathroom supplies. "Seeya, mutt!"

Thia came back to the room to find Veru sitting in a corner. "What's wrong with you? All I did was throw a pillow at you." She walked over to her bed and sat down.
Veru sighed and turned hesitantly to look at her. "I forgot to knock. I forgot I'm sharing a room with a girl..." He faced the wall again.
Thia burst out laughing. "HAHA!! Is that what this is about?! You forgot to knock, big deal! The only problem would be me walking in on you, wolf!" She giggled a little more before sighing and laying back. "Oh, ow... That was too funny."
Veru turned toward Thia again. "It's just weird. I've always lived alone. I never had to worry about something like this."
Thia sat up. "Jeez wolf. Even if you did walk in on me, I probably wouldn't mind unless you started gawking. At that point, I'd probably have cut your eyes out for being a pig. I'm a Vampire. I really don't care for that mortal tendency to shy away from another's body. Hell, I'm proud of my physique."
Veru almost blushed. "It's still weird. I'm a teenager still."
Thia lay back again. "And I'm nearly two thousand years old. I really don't care, but figure like this, I'm your grandmother's age, ten times over. If it's that weird, put a sign on the door to remind yourself. Of course, if I walk in on you, I'd just turn the hell around." Thia shrugged before yawning. "Now go to sleep, mutt."
Veru sighed. "Right..."
{Hehehe...}

Thia woke an hour after dawn. "Ugh... Wolf needs a bath..." She quietly opened the door and stepped outside, locking the door behind her. "I need to hunt before I snap at someone out of irritation..." She headed toward the cafeteria for a raw cut of meat, preferably a bloody one.

Thia didn't know it but Veru never went to sleep. He heard her comment about his smell and waited until her footsteps disappeared. He rolled out of his bed and pulled his trunk out. He dug through it to find a bottle of shampoo and a bottle of body wash. "Ugh... Things I do to not offend people..." He took the bottles and went to clean up.

Rin woke up a few hours after dawn, cheerfully. She sat up in her bed and let her fox tail loose. It wagged slowly as she stretched her arms. Her fox ears popped out and twitched slightly. "Ah! This'll be a good day." She hopped off her bed and stretched her back by leaning backwards. "Mmm hmm nmm hmm..." She hummed a quietly cheerful song as she got dressed and walked out to the cafeteria for breakfast. "Ah! What a lovely morning!"

Thia walked past Someria, who was knocking on Rin's door. "She's eating. If you wanna talk to her, she's in the cafeteria." She kept walking, until she reached her room. "Get up, wolf! I'm not letting you sleep until noon so that you're tired tomorrow!" She opened the door to an empty room. "Huh? Where did the mutt go?"

Veru walked back to the room, carrying his shampoo. His fur was messier than normal, but he smelled better. "That was horrible. The water here is either freezing or too hot." He got back to the room and opened the door, to another flying pillow. He managed to dodge this one. "The hell?!"
Thia smirked. "You're getting better at dodging, wolf..." She just noticed the shampoo in Veru's hand, which he tried unsuccessfully to hide. "Aww. I didn't really mean you stunk, wolfy. Bet now you smell like a wet dog." She stepped closer and took a hesitant sniff. "Huh. You don't smell like a wet dog. More like spices." She looked up into Veru's eyes. "What brought all this on? Since when do you care if I think you smell a little strongly like a wolf?"
Veru turned his head, to avoid her eyes, and lied. "My fleas were bothering me..."
This burst out laughing. "Haha! My god wolf! I was kidding about you being flea-bitten!"
Veru hung his head. That was such a crappy lie... He flopped down on his bed and closed his eyes.
Thia walked over and pulled him off the bed. "No sleeping! If you don't go to sleep on time tonight, you'll be up all night. And I will NOT be your mother and walk you up gently."
Veru growled at her and shook his head. "You're still a b***h, even though we made an agreement."
Thia laughed. "And you're still a mutt! Come on, wolfy. Breakfast time!"
Veru decided to mess with her, he put his hands to his throat and looked scared. "NO!!!"
Thia fell over laughing hard. "GYAHAHAHA!!!" After a minute she sat up and wiped her eyes. "Woo. Damn wolf. Can I rephrase that? Breakfast time for the mutt?"
Veru snickered. "Right, ok. Lets get some food."

Rin finished the scrambled eggs that the cafeteria was serving. "Yum..."
She saw Veru and Thia walk through the doors and grab some food. They were shoving each other playfully, not trying to kill each other like yesterday. "Hey!"
Veru looked over at Rin and waved. Thia took her tray and marched over. "What's up?"
Rin shrugged. "Not much, you two seem cheery." She sipped her milk.
Thia shrugged and Veru snickered. "We have a mutual agreement not to kill each other this week. Bloodsucker here, thinks the staff did it for a bad joke."
Thia shoved Veru with a look of disgust. "Wolfy had a panic attack yesterday about walking in on me."
Rin spat out the milk, showering the table. "What?!"
veru sighed and covered his face with his hands. "That's how I reacted when she threw the pillow in my face."
Thia snickered. "He forgot to knock, I threw a pillow, it hit him, and I walked out to go take a shower. I wasn't indecent, but wolfy panicked anyway."
Rin mopped up the spill with her napkin. "Jeez, I thought I was going to have to attack you for being callous."
Thia rolled her eyes. "Please, I can take care of myself. Besides, wolfy beat himself up, I didn't need to."
Veru put his head on the table. "If I ever walk in on her, I might rip out my own eyes."
Thia burst out laughing, while Rin looked sympathetic. Rin saw that Someria had followed Thia and Veru. "Hey, Someria! Anything interesting happen to you today?"
