(ooc- guess who one of my fave Tekken characters is) After the second hit, Jeni rolled forwards, kicking out as she did. She felt contact, and flipped up again, "Well you're going to have to hit me harder to do any damage, those hit's won't leave a mark." she replied cooly, she changed her stance to one of her most dangerous ones, the change was faster than before, she had really been testing Ichinel's combat ability, he obviously prefered close combat, but not as close as she did, plus he had the advantage of reach, not that it mattered. Her stance had her on one foot, with the other in the air, she suddenly changed feet, using the momentum to move her closer to Ichinel and to start a string of incredibly fast kicks, once the momentum on that leg was gone, she swapped feet again and kept going. She was happy to see Ichinel, while he blocked some, was not able to block all of them. Her arms were used to balance her when she switched and were kept in a position, that, in case she lost her footing, she would be able to catch herself and move out of range of any subsequent attacks.

There are no such things as coincidence.Valerye watched as the two exchanged blows. Though she wasn't a part of the spar, she felt herself drawn into the match. "Who do you think will win?" Valerye asked, addressing the Dragon Lillie. Sighing, she began to peel off the gel that had hardened on her arm. Flexing and her right arm to make sure it was fine, Valerye smiled. It was still a little sore, but it would be just fine in another half hour or so. She snapped her attention back to the spar, eager to see the outcome. There is only hitsuzen

Marael closed her eyes as Terra took up the harmony, her voice blending with Luke's well. She listened to the tune carefully once through, a small smile forming on her face as a set of lyrics seemed to flow through her mind. They were in Old Wisitaian, and she found herself singing them softly in counterharmony to the other two. Her voice, although soft, was sweet and sad, carrying more easily than she'd care it to, had she been paying attention.
"Si olael koraes myria Vaeraelol si tyl'm maer thali Ol sor pas eil molael bol Vaelalol syri jhyr par
Os myl eil taestysor Ialaelol jhyli eil jhylia Tal jhar ialor thysaelaes ael Os sor o tysti shas sai ti

((Translation: The ocean glitters softly Reflecting the moon's sweet face On this dark and silent night Recalling those old days
Our songs and memories Unending love and loyalty Can last until forever ends Or til you come back to me.
So sail away my heart Where I will always follow Sail away my friend Into the sweet tomorrow ))

Luke, caught a bit offguard by the words being sung. Much less the harmony being hummed. The words, he notes, he'll have to ask about later. But as for now, the hum turns to a whistle, and it turns to a faster, more up-beat tune...another he wrote.

Hey man! Look at me rockin' out,

Thayli watched as everyone left to go to Lae's house, choosing to stay behind to watch Ichnel and Jeni spar, that and Ichnel had said that after he was done talking to Jeni, he would take Thayli to the Head Old Elf.
Thayli found himself a good view point, and watched as Jeni went in for an attack, and smiled as Ichnel spun out of the way and countered. He fought well, but so did she. 'I'll have to remember to see if I can spar against one of them in the future.' He thought to himself, watching them continue They take me away from, The strangest places... Sweet Danny and Lisa, They take me away from...AHHH.

Ichnel was surprised when Jeni switched to kicking. She was very fast and Ichnel was not able to block all of her blows. She obviously favored close range combat and had the advantage of being used to fighting bigger opponents.
"Ack! Jeni most definitely has great force behind her kicks!," Ichnel thought and winced as Jeni landed a heavy hit on his left forearm. There would probably be a bruise later.
Ichnel smiled. This was starting to get fun! But now it was time to switch gears. No more holding back.
Ichnel closed the distance between them instantly, barely more than a blur as he moved. Instead of smacking Jeni with the flat of the blade, he used the edge. He struck her once across the collar bone, elbowed her in the stomach with the same arm after spinning arround, and with more strength then one would think Ichnel's frame possessed, he shoved his daggerless left palm into her chest with enough force to send her flying back and over the edge of the make-shift arena.
Ichnel blinked.
"Oh dear"
He'd used much more strength than he intended. Just great! Jeni was barely here for a sun's cycle and she was already injured! Ichnel mentally kicked himself. Now she would probably be afraid of him and start to treat him with the same cold indifference that the other elves did.
"Jeni! Are you alright!?" Ichnel asked, running over to her, looking for signs of any serious injury. His normally white eyes shifted between grey and blue, conveying his worry and sorrow.

Thayli watched the fight progress, but stared in shock once Ichnel had shown his true strength. He wasn't shocked of his true strength, but how he had come out of now where with this power, surly throwing Jeni off gaurd.
Thayli was about to get up to help, but he figured that the other dark elf could handle it, seeing as he seemed to be a healer of sorts. They take me away from, The strangest places... Sweet Danny and Lisa, They take me away from...AHHH.

(ooc - I know the hectic life feeling and I can edit the post if you want me to)
Jeni was surprised by the force of the hit, but glad at the same time, she was actually getting a proper fight. However the force was too much for her to handle standing on one leg. In response to her losing her balance, she grabbed Ichinel's arm, but was unable to keep her grip. She ended up falling to the floor head first, but put er hands out and ended up flipping onto her feet. She heard Ichinel say something as she jumped straight back onto the arena to congratualte him, and ended up smacking hard into him, sending them both to the floor of the arena. "Well done, but ow, your head is hard." she said, she said, sitting up clutching her head where it had come into contact with Ichinel's head.

"I suspected you were of a hard mind when we first met, Jeni, but I did not suspect this much!" Ichnel teased, while gingerly rubbing his forhead where the two of them collided. Jeni was agile and what she lacked in strength, she made up for in technique. He sheathed Arda Corm*.
Ichnel collected his tall frame off the arena and walked over to Jeni. As was traditional after a good match, he clasped his right hand with hers and rested his left hand on Jeni's right shoulder.
"Mae govannen,**" Ichnel said, smiling with what he hoped was his most radiant smile.
He'd enjoyed their bout immensely and wanted to give Jeni a high compliment. Normally, when Ichnel taught others, the extreme few who wanted to learn from a dark elf, he'd help them up from the floor if they allowed it and told them what to practice. In his time in Bredia, Ichnel had never acknowledged any of those he fought with this way. Ichnel could see Jeni was almost at the same skill level he was and that with time, she'd grow stronger.
Ichnel's smile grew brighter if it was even possible. He would most definitely be there to see it. He raised their joined hands and kissed Jeni's knuckles.
"I thank you for the fight, Jeni of Fierce Blows," Ichnel said and bowed over her.
He let her smaller hand go and turned to Valerye. He noticed that she had peeled off the poltice he'd made, her wound no longer inflamed and the the punctures healing over with pink, healthy skin. He was relieved the swelling had gone down. He remembered all to well how much Dragon Lily bites hurt.
He paused. The Dragon Lily was staring at Valerye with an interest other than hunger. Ichnel followed its gaze and stared a little harder at Valerye. Then it hit him. She was of the Earth! Ichnel was overjoyed at that revelation. It would certainly explain why Valerye appeared to be so at ease within his garden. He would need to see if he could spend time with her. It was obvious she didn't know she had magick, but Ichnel hoped to change that with Valerye.
"Well, now that our spar is over, I think it is time that I escorted you lovely maidens to dear Lae's home," Ichnel said, his eyes turning a merry yellow/rose color.
"Usstan orn plynn dos ulu l' Karliik Zhuanth Darthirii vel'drav Usstan inbal plynnet mina ulu vel'klar nind orn zexen'uma. Flohlu udossa lu' zexen'uma velkyn dal l' byr darthien ka dos xun naut daewl tlu elggen,***" he added, not forgetting the other dark one.
(( * Earth Heart ** Well Met ***I will take you to the Head Old Elf when I have taken them to where they will stay. Follow us and stay hidden from the other elves if you do not wish to be killed. ))

Jeni actually blushed at the name, "Jeni of Fierce Blows" "Yeah, it was a good fight." she said, feeling slightly awkward, she was not used to this kind of reaction at the end of fights. Either they were official and the majority of her opponants were either informal or complained, or they were unofficial, and the opponants always complained.
She gave a quick bow, then went to get her weapons, while she did not put the kick-edge on, she still put the gloves on, she was still in a strange land afterall. Now the adrenaline was wearing off, and she was starting to feel tired. "Probably a good idea, going to Lae's home, I still want to know how you elves can conjure fire and water out of nothing, but I can ask Lae in the morning, I'm starting to get tired."

Lae was comforted by the music, soothing her worries and her doubts. Things really could work out, she knew that somehow they would. Without noticing, her eyes changed back to their normal light green. Taking her step to the beat of the sweet music she smiled and realized they had made it to her home. Stoping sudddanly she took another long happy look over her qaint home.
Her house was large for a one elf tree. It was considered middle size to most of the other tree houses in the area. After you went up the many steps that winded there way around the tree you would see the small door that marked the entrance to her home.
Guiding all of the group up the many stairs she usered them through the door that was never locked. She knew what they would all find when they first entered the lower room. Stepping thought the door brought you to an amazing open round bedroom that was small but also was very cozy. Seemingly grown into the tree were her small bed, many shelves, and a decent sized table that stuck out perfect for a desk or even a dinner table for two. She had a large chest that sat at the bottom of her bed and a small fire pit that was carved out from the floor in a corner. Bows could be found lying around much of the room unfinished or close to started. A small archway marked the stairs that wound there way up to a small room that suited as her workshop.
Happy to be home she quickly picked up a few items that littered the floor and set them at their places on the many shelves that circled the room. Grabbing the two baskets she had carried from Ichnel's she sat upon the floor. Looking up at the group she anounced,
"Everyone make yourself at home...I'm sure you all would like to eat before we set up sleeping arangements."
