Lenler went the entire distance from the spaceport to his house nearby staying in back alleys, running, case held in his arms, Long legs making his stride longer. Minutes later, he reached his home, and, head bowed, breathing quickly, re-entered his garage, saying "Rate? I got your kriffing case."

Rate was looking over the engine with tools scattered about and looked up as Lenler came in, shutting the hood over the engines he gathered his tools together into his bag and put the ones he ad barrowed back."Good, now bring it over." He said as he looked at his watch, 7:30, just getting to be dark outside, good.

Lenler put the case down, eyes wide. Rate probably wasn't breaking the speeder, but who knew? "What did you do to it? It wasn't anything illegal, was it?"

"Don't worry about it, I did something good." He said as he pulled the case over and opened the lock, pulling out the holsters of his DL and Model 44 and inspecting each gun. Taking up the IR-5 and inspecting it and sighting it, turning the muzzle towards Lenler and then pulling the blaster down and setting it into a compartment on the speeder."We leave at 4:30. I'll be back at 4."He asid then headed out, taking the longer and more secure way back to the motel.

"Red, record that liscence plate in your memory and wait here. I'll be right back." She told the astromech as she entered the store. She looked around before locking her gaze upon the Shop keep. "Yes there is. Can you tell me who that speeder belongs to?"

As the little shuttle began to touch down over New Karna, Staff Sergeant Bakura Zao, Imperial Technology Specialist, peeked out the view port and looked over the tranquil yet somewhat primitive-to his thoughts at least-city and sighed.
He had done his research and looked over reports from ground while up in the Twin Watch Station, but once it had come time to leave this morning, he wanted to hide in a closet. Sighing once more he pulled his datapad out and flipped through the Headquarters rooster and came upon the Commander, Colonel Saburo Akaga. Most likely another stuck-up Imperial officer, looking to out him down due to his race, well he'll will show him.
As the shuttle touched down and the hatch lowered, Zao took in his first breath of Seya'Qu atmosphere, it was more pure than other planets due to not having as much industry, but its factories still gave it that human smell.

Lieutenant Stryker was waiting for him at the bottom of the ramp, "Sergeant!"
* * *
As the Chariot LAV slowed to a stop Colonel Akaga shook his head as the massive manor he'd spent the night in two nights earlier loomed before him. Apparently the new Governor wanted his new post to have all the luxuries this dirtball could provide.
He hated having to wait for the Governor's convience to brief him in on the military situation, and now, four hours after arriving the Governor had finally decided that he had enough time to listen to the highest ranking military officer on this hunk of rock.
As he walked into the main lobby and saw the Governor's staff moving stuff in and out of rooms and unpacking his personal belongings Saburo shook his head, "I'm glad I travel light."
One of the staffers ushered the colonel into a dimmly lit office, and the sweet smell of aged tabac wafted in the air as the staffer closed the door behind him.
Governor Kol Sirus leaned back in his chair, "Colonel Akaga, please sit down..."
"Thank you sir," Colonel Akaga answered as he settled into the plush chair that had been left for him.
The Governor smiled as he took another pull on his cigar, "I've heard from the Captain that you've put a number of our imperialization policies into effect... The ban on weapons and xeno-businesses."
The colonel nodded, this wasn't a briefing after all, "Yes sir, and we placed the Twenty-four hour curfew and ban on inter-city traffic in addition to those policies. We won't be able to keep those policies in place for long."
"No, I don't expect you too." The Governor glanced at a datapad at his desk, "We should move onto the next stage... the seperation of the xeno-biologics from the human population and the imperialization of the local planetary burecracy."
The Colonel sat there, utterly surprised. The seperation of xeno-biologics was nearly unheard of, save for Imperial Center itself. Maybe that was it, the governor wanted to turn this world into an Imperial Utopia, like that on Coruscant...
And it would be up to COMPFORCE and the Imperial Army to impliment this policy. He could hear the riots already.
There was a loud knock on the door as a Staffer stepped inside, "Governor, the Navy contingent has a messenger for you."
Colonel Akaga rose, "Well, I'll make my plans for the implimentation of this policy... Good day Governor." As he stepped outside he saw a local man being escorted by Navy Troopers with a large crate, apparently the messenger.
The man and his crate disappeared into the Governor's office and the door closed behind them.
(Que DA... start corrupting the Governor.)

As the thug was escorted into the place, he noticed the superior-looking officer as they passed. A chill went down his spine. Seeing a high ranked Imp face to face usually meant an interrogation, as his prior experiences have taught him. Many of Bolba's thugs had served time or been questioned by authorities before, and it was never pleasant.
" You must be the governor. " the thug said, as the door closed behind him. " I'm a messenger sent by Bolba the Hutt. You probably already noticed how much of a backwater planet this is, and of course that means a rough time for a lot of Imperial personnel on this rock, what with the lack of adquate forces and supplies, plus the uprising of the random locals that can't stand the new governmental body. Bolba wishes to extend to you and the Imperial forces stationed here a proper welcome. Inside this case is just a small gesture of his wish to help you cement your position of power on this world. He understands how rough this type of job can be in a place like this and wants to give a helping hand... "

Bakura gave a slight wave and jogged over."Am I really needed here? Doesn't look like this place has anything a Technology for Nerf Herders chip couldn't teach you how to handle." He looked around as dust seemed to float through the vary air, making life seem as if watched through yellow-tinted glasses.

The door to Lenlers garage opened and rate stepped in with his bag as normal and now a long, thin coat on. He set the bag into the Speeder and sat waiting against it. It was only 3:50 still, the kid was hopefully packing. He had found a the quickest way out of the city, and arranged for the guards to be on 'break' by the time 4:30 rolled along, but they only had a 5 minute opening to get out, and it had cost the smuggler a whooping 700 credits."Cheapskates..."He mumbled to himself.

As the sergeant jogged over to him Lieutenant Stryker frowned, a xeno and insubordinate just great.
"Sergeant Zao! You salute a superior officer!" The Lieutenant barked at his new subordinate.
* * *
Governor Sirus slowly opened the case and gave its contents a once over, before he closed it back up. "I believe that Imperial Procurement should be more then able to supply our forces..." A slight smile crossed his face, "Any local forces loyal to the new order are another matter entirely."
He settled back in the chair and thought for a moment, "Please communicate this to Bolba, I am willing to negotiate his freedom and the security of his operation in exchange for the provision of local pro-imperial militias and..." The governor's eyes twinkled for a moment, "...the fullfillment of certain... personal needs."
He glanced back up at the courier, "You do understand don't you?"

Bringing his heels together and strike his open-hand up to his brow he dutifully said."Sir, yes sir!" Zao hated military formality more than anything in the world, but if it paid him at the end of the month, he couldn't complain.

Lieutenant Stryker shook his head, they all seemed to eager when they did that... or mocking. "I didn't ask for a parade ground presentation, just a salute would have been enough." The Lieutenant turned and gestured forward, "Come with me sergeant, we've got an assignment, a bunk, and an encrypted file all laid out for you."
He led the sergeant to the waiting Chariot LAVr and tossed his duffel inside. Soon they were driving through the streets of New Karna heading toward the Regimental headquarters. As they drove the comm crackled, "This is Colonel Akaga, I want a staff meeting, and Stryker get the holo-comm system setup, I'm going to need to talk to our unit commanders about this mess."
"Roger," Lt Stryker answered as he clicked the comm off. Then he pulled out a datapad from storage box beneath his chair and tossed it to Zao, "I hear you're a decrypt expert of some worth Zao... We intercepted this encrypted transmission this morning. The colonel will want to know what it says, who sent it, and who recieved it... And I want it done by tomorrow."

"Where is it, I could start on it now."he said as he opened up his messenger bag and pulled out his personal computer unit and unfolded it."And not just of some worth, I'm the best next to what they keep to the core. I suppose they sent me away due to my being nonhuman."He started up his powerful little unit and little greeting in various languages and tunes echoed through the LAVr. The lieutenant would easily be able to notice Bakura's fingers and wrists twitch ever moment or so as they hovered over the keypad before they began to work over it, the lights from the screen dancing over the zabraks face as he linked up with the station and checked his personal messages.
