Terina smirked "Just hope the new guy can keep up!" Terina teased and winked at him before willing her wolf to move foward. She looked back at the group "Come on...last one there needs to cook a meal for a king for the rest of us!!" she laughed.

Cail grinned at the challenge and quickly got on the horse. He managed to keep pace pretty well, but let himself stay a bit behind. He wanted to get a better feel for their surroundings, and besides, he liked to cook.

Terina stopped suddenly midway towards town. Her wolf began to growl at something unseen. She glared into the forest and looked back towards the others, who seemed to be far behind. "Hmmm..something is not right!" she mummbled and patted her wolf on the back.

Artanis waited to move until Ansel and the rest were a head of her. "ok thats a big enough lead time to go boy." Artanis kicked the horse to as she did so somthing hit her in the gut making her fly off of the horse "What the..." a man started to laugh.
"what is a girl doing out here by herself?" the man spoke not showing himself.

Terina closed her eyes, "Argg...ok so hhow do i do this again. Ok concentrate!" She called to her sister as best she could "Artanis....Artanis..something isnt right...where are you?"

Cail brought his horse to a slower pace, feeling that something was wrong. If they had to turn around or move forward faster, he was more than ready to teleport in that direction as fast as he could.

Terina grumbled "Dang telepathy!!! I knew i should practice more often...unless..she is.." a worried look crept on Terina's face. She moved her wold back towards Cail. "Do you see the others? Did they leave with you?" she asked.

Artanis unsheathed her sword waiting for the next attack. "Calm down Terina i can hear you but i need to concentrate so shhh." Artanis talk back to her sister. "So my invisible friend were are you?" Artanis danced around a little trying to coax him out.
"You are going to have to do better than that my dear." The man said as she felt her hair being pulled back showing her throat. Artanis hissed from the pain. "What do you want?" she asked again. Artanis then felt a hand slide across her waist, then pulling her in he cut her shoulder. "There is nothing you can do for me." the man laughed and then punched her in the gut sending her down to her knees.

Terina blinked she looked at Cail. "We need to go back...Now!" she said rushing back to where they had began. She summoned her pack of wolves and send them ahead to assist her sister.

Artanis hissed in pain from the punch. "I'll ask one more time. What do you want with me?" Artanis was getting tired with the toying "oh..nothing really just give up and other things." the man then showed himself to her. Artanis took that advantage and stricked cutting his shoulder "I don't think so bud."

Terina wolves reached Artanis just as she struck the man. They cirlced the starnge attacker, ready to strike when Artanis was clear of him. Meanwhile Terina was close behind. She paused assesing the situation before striking like a looney.

Cail appeared behind Terina. He hadn't managed to teleport with the horse, but walking from now on would suit him just fine. He saw her just watching the scene unfold and charged forward, teleporting to the opposite side of him and knocked his legs out from under him.

Terina smacked her forhead. "Arggg...dont just charge in like that??" she grumbled as the wolves were now circling both Cail and the stranger. Terina ran up holding her large sword. Her hand out to keep the wolves from attacking Cail. She glared at the attacker.

The man just laughed and the dissapered. "You can try to hurt me all you want but I will keep hunting you until i get you." and then he was gone.
"DAMN IT ALL TO HELL." Artanis yelled and stomped off to her horse and jumped up on his back "We will talk about it later lets find Ansel." Artanis was furious with herself for not getting the strange man.

Terina smiled as she sent one wolf to find Ansel while she looked at another. "Hmmm..looks like this one caugth the strangers sent. We can try and track him?"
