Rotting Gnarl MegaTherion777 ashlander_alpha Here's just a theoretical question: is a power/doom hybrid even musically possible? well the sword are doom with considerable influence from heavy... so i'm guessing it'd be possible to take influence from power, too, though i'm not sure how exactly one would accomplish that Maybe if you switched between the two styles by changing tempos and such in the middle of songs, like System of a Down, and had a singer that could sing both power vocals and doom vocals... i can do that.... and switch to-

That guy should stay away from the higher registers. xp It actually said on there that at one point near the beginning of their career, they disbanded because "no appropriate singer could be found". Soooo... They know they have a problem there. lol

bahaha i had a good debate on how despised icon and mudvyane don't count as metal-- i took the kid forever to get that nu metal isn't included with metal and that if the band isn't on encyclopedia metallum then they aren't metal... ugh....

I would give them the benefit of the doubt and say they fall more on the melodeath side, but our guild leader doesn't seem to agree with me.
Arch Enemy = melodic death.
