Hello, dears.

My name is Amy.
I've been on Gaia since late 'o5, and here I am. Still here, with no life other than to create things. I love costume-making, which is actually what got me into Steampunk in the first place.

I'm 17, and I'm from the prairies up north. Yes, Alberta. The cold, windy plains. e_e;;

Anyway, I look forward to getting to know a few of you. =)

Salutations.

My name is Byron. I'm a fan of all things Steampunk- but I admit I'm not very educated on the subject. I'm hoping through this fabulous Guild and can learn more about it as well as make friends (What a stretch for a recluse like myself.) Thank you so much for accepting my request.

I am 20 years of Age. I've been a member of Gaia on and off for five years now. I am a nomadic traveler of sorts, I can't stay in one place. I'm currently in the humid South outside of Music City, Nashville.

I look forward to chatting with all of you, Toodle-Pip!

Hello, I'm Jess. I'm sixteen-years-old with a growing interest in steampunk. I don't know a whole lot, but it all started with the music of Abney Park. I'll admit it, I found them through Wikipedia's article on steampunk. sweatdrop

My other interests include studying random stuff, parkour, hockey and soccer. I like to hang out with friends and I try to get out of the house as much as I can.

Lastly, thanks for accepting my request. :]

Greetings all,

You may call me Mango, or The Doctor, or Pandora. Whichever you please.
I found out about steampunk only about a week ago, while I was browing through the forums, and was immediately fascinated with the culture. I looked it up on wiki and google to learn more, but alas, any good articles on the subject are few and far between.
So, here I am.

I'm 15 years old, and live up north, in old, blustery Canada.
Some interests of mine include martial arts, photography, parkour, writing, and travelling. I love travelling. However, I've only been to Italy, Poland, and the Netherlands - and well, the USA of course, all over the west side of it.

I look forward to chatting with all of you. :]
Cheerio!

Greetings and a good evening to you all.

I shall introduce myself as Erica. I live in Southern California, which is the most Steampunk-unfriendliest place in America (most of the kids I know do not know what it is and shop exclusively at Abercrombie). Recently, I fell in love with steampunk. I have always loved period dress ( I still long for the day when I can dress like Marie Antoinette to school and not be ridiculed for it). My hobbies include reading, writing, and costume design. I might one day write a steampunk themed book, but I haven't even gotten to writing it yet.

If you would allow me, I'd like to introduce myself. I am Science Officer Enki Leviathan, a mercenary scientist for hire currently based in Southern California. Lake Forest, Orange county, to be precise. I am the owner and proprietor of Leviathan Steamworks which specializes in making accessories and adornments for the pre-modern age. I am also a Toy Soldiers in Dr. Steel's Army of Toy Soldiers.

I have before had dealings with Sgt. Kato, owner of Steampunk Couture, Dabro, the guitarist for Dr. Steel, John Soares, the creator of Sock Baby and The Vaccuum Consortium.

So to have dealings with the crew of the U.S.M. Ophelia "Abney Park" and The Outlanders

Yes, well, ermmm. Oh, pay no mind to the lumbering oaf behind me. I am Doctor Ezra Fergus, Exo-biologist and noted Paranormal Investigator. A graduate of Miskatonic University with several degrees among the parapsychology and Un-natural Biology fields.
A most unfortunate error on the part of my esteemed assistant resulted in a catastrophic laboratory accident involving a number of phials and some monsterism. Hence the writhing mass of tentacles and eyes that now hold my vast intellect.
I do look forward to continuing my work here on the great Anachronism.

Greetings, please call me Kin or Deme. I've gotten interested in Steampunk due to the many interesting stories and shows i've watched. Howl's Moving Castle, The league of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and even the Al Bhed machinery in FFX and FFX-2. I love in the Philippines were steampunk isn't very popular so I show some steampunk in Gaia. I hope we all get along well so please take care of me. =D

Greetings, everyone. I go by Reivena here on Gaia. I've been at this site for quite some time, though I'm not typically too active (coming up on my 5th anniversary of sign-up pretty soon...)!

In the real world, I am 24, and I'm a graphic / web designer and illustrator. I also do quite a bit of other work on computers.

I've had an interest in the steampunk genre as far back as I can remember - though I didn't know there was a name for such a thing until the last couple of years.

Hi there =]
Akh, I never know what to say in these introduction bits.
Hmm...
Well, first off my name is Luna and I live in Melbourne Australia. Anyone live in Australia here? It would be great to meet other Aussies.
I work part time in a really awesome alternative hairdressers in the city and the rest of my time is spent doing two different courses at two different schools.
I love Steampunk with a passion and I love Neo Victorian aswell, I tend to dress in a mixture of the both.
I love steampunk music even though bands like that are really hard to find. Check out Johnny Hollow, they're awesome.
I love to roleplay steampunk aswell so Im open to do a roleplay if you guys feel like doing one.

I'm not scary and I love talking to everyone so yeah =D

Oh and I own three cats.
Yes.
Three.

Hullo, all. I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you with luck. My name's Anne and I'm from the Chicago area. I can't say that I know a whole lot about steampunk, though the more I find out about it, I'm guessing I didn't know it had a name. I'm very much into Victorian history, more of the social side of things rather than science (numbers and I don't often get along, but if you can dumb it down, I can understand), myth, and folklore. I saw someone mention that Perdido Street Station was a book that hooked them and it was for me too, along with The Diamond Age and various others. I'm a huge Neil Gaiman fan as well. Besides that, I'm a writer, I've published one short story and have been accepted at a small press with another so luck and that shall come out, oh, 2009. Please feel free to drop a note or what not. Thanks for letting me check you out. Until the next.

Salute,

My name is Rhody Brattle but I was born with the name Alexandra. I am sixteen years old. I reside in Burbank, California. I am currently enrolled in an independent study charter school (basically home schooling.)

Steampunk. I've always been interested in Victorian clothing and decor fashions as well as the science fiction/fantasy culture. I did not know until recently that this thing I liked had a name. I was overjoyed at the thought of others interested in something I had been in love with since I was little.

If you would like to know more don't hesitate to contact me for a chat.

I look forward to conversing with all the fine people who call this guild home.

User Image

Hello :]

My username is Emmyla, obviously, but I go by many different names.
Ask if you're interested.
I'll be seventeen towards the end of this month, and I currently reside in Kentucky.
Ah, yes. Kentucky. A pretty, but rather uninteresting area. D;

I adore the Steampunk life style and fashion. I don't know a lot about it, sadly, but I intend to learn as much as I can. I would do this every day if I had more information.

I hope to get to know all of you soon! I want to learn and share ideas : D

Salutations to the people of this here magnificent guild! Most people call me Zero, though my Gaia name is Keith Valken Lionheart. Real name is Jonathan, I have lived for 21 solar cycles, and I live in a little hellhole known as Puerto Rico. I love tinkering, and clockwork machinery always interested me. A little tabletop game called Iron Kingdom showed me what fantasy steampunk was, and I was sold.
