Ocrad's eyes widened with suppressed excitement. "Illusion. My mother was a grand illusionist and taught me the ways of the craft. Her teachings have aided my surivial on multiple occasions, and I owe everything to her. She has made me the youngest master of the skill to ever walk the land of Cyrodil." he said, a slight look of sorrow in his eyes. "Thats a very speaical gift and you mother must be very proud of you."She looked into his eyes and went back down to his level "what wrong little one"her eyes became gental. "Forgive my weakness once more. The mention of my mother reminded me of her sacrifice, and of how much I miss her. One day I hope Sithis will guild me to her killers and allow me to deliver their souls to the Void." said Ocrad, his voice filled with subtle anger. Dixanadu awoke. He must have dozed off after the long day he had had before arriving at the Sanctuary. He glanced towards the conversing pair as they finished their conversation, and couldn't help but grin.
"Another that sees the value of the art of Illusion. Most excellent. I was something of an expert in Illusion, in my human days. Ever since I got locked in this werewolf form though, my ability in magic has been limited. I can still fire off a good charm spell or two though, which works wonders for a lycanthrope."
His ears twitched slightly, and he gave a short, whining yawn.
"Certainly are a lot of new members been recruited as of late, myself included. Glad to see our ranks are expanding."

After a few hours, Ocrad's eyes began to open. A mysterious dream had enhanced his anxiety to partake in the duties of the bortherhood. He arosed from his bed and walked out into the main hall, searching for Slayer or the other brothers.

Dixanadu glanced over at Ocrad. He had not moved a muscle in hours, and was alert.
"Nice to see you again, Brother. You look well rested. Though I must admit, you seem to be something of a light sleeper. You're up within a few hours. Normally, when I get some rest, I go missing for a day or two."
He gave a short chuckle.

He gave a short chuckle. "I can sleep when I am dead." said Ocrad with a alight chuckle. "I am sorry, but I did not catch your name last time. I am Ocrad Deceptis." he said with a small bow.

"A pleasure to meet you, Ocrad." said Dixanadu, standing and offering a furry hand.
"My name is Dixanadu DeMorte. I'm a necromancer. Or at least, I was. Sort of difficult to cast spells with paws. You know how it is. I can still manage a charm or nigh-eye spell though. Even managed a chameleon spell the other day, which was a pleasant surprise. Have had to give up the necromantic practices though. Small price to pay though, for my... condition."
He bared his teeth in a grin.

Ocrad shook his paw whiling gazing in awe of Dixanadu. "You're a lycan, aren't you?! I have heard but whispers of the condition, but knows it stands before me shaking my hand! I have been here for but a day and I have been blessed with many surprises." he said.

"Heh, yes. I'm quite proud of it myself. Vampires tend to be more common these days, but there are still a few werewolves around. Originally, I had travelled to Morrowind, to the Isle of Solstheim to contract the condition. They had something of a werewolf problem a while back. By manipulating my position in connection to the movement of the moons, I could leave small villages decimated. Purely for my necromantic research, of course. The watch attributed the killings to wild animals, and nothing was made of it. However, when I attempted in my bloodlust to attack a group of practitioners of Daedric magic, I was somehow locked in this form. As time went on, my intelligence grew, my memories returned as my mind adapted to the change..."
Dixanadu gave a small shrug.
"I've adapted to it. I called in a few favours from some old friends in the Mages Guild. Got myself some bone armour and clothing made and delivered under cover of night. I like to retain some reminder of my humanity, at least. And being a lycan has its advantages. Werewolves are both strong, and stealthy. We make excellent assassins, though our abilities are limited."

"As our mine." said Ocrad as he showed his arms. "I am but I boy of 13 with nothing but slight skill in blade and mastery in illusion. Still, I plan to prove that's all you need to fullfill the will of Sithis." Pride filled his voice.

"I used to be a fair illusionist in my day, though Conjuration was my specialty. But, you are right. So long as you're capable of getting close enough to stab, that's all you need. A quick slice to the throat is enough to kill most, and even a novice can manage that, if they get in position quickly enough."
