 Mizuiro found Yuriko-sensei to be the most confusing person he had ever met. He looked over to the new guy, who they had met before briefly. He did kind of know that this would happen, that this guy would be on their team. But the way sensei introduced the guy, was actually very dull. Though he actually did find it a little funny, at the same time, the guy's reaction that he just caught a glimpse of said it all.
Mizuiro looked down into his empty bowl and then pushed it away. He wasn't really paying any attention at all to the conversation, until he heard "demon", then his head perked up a little. That word always made him think of one of the strongest Swordsman of the Mist, Zabuza Momochi. He knew all about him, and how he killed his entire Academy class. Mizuiro realized, he might have to actually watch this guy more carefully then he originally though. Demon wasn't some word one should use loosely, well, to him anyway.

It threw him off guard that she would say that openly. He would have just said he went to the restroom, but he guessed it was just the way she was. When she announced who it was on their time, Tenshi was surprised... well sort of. He had guessed as much when they met in the grove earlier. Now he would have to be suspicious all the time. "Well isn't that oddly convenient," he said to the point that he just happened to walk into the ramen shop shortly before announcing him as part of the team. Tenshi stood up and walked over to Byakuran, "Here's an official welcome to the team," he held out his hand to him. He didn't hate the boy, just skeptical.

Tsubaki Yuriko  Hp: 630 / 630 Cp: 840/ 840 MHp: 780 / 780Yuriko was slightly amused when the boy fell from his chair. Perhaps if she had been raised differently she would have laughed out loud but that just wasn't her. When he played off the fall and continued to talk with Shippo she found it a little less amusing. Thanks to the scroll from the Mizukage she was deeply suspicious of the boy already. His ignoring of her announcement did arouse some suspicion within her but maybe he was just shy. [Sense Motive: 15 + 36 | 51, pass]  "Tenshi-kun, sometimes coincidences happen, though being suspicious may save your life."She followed Tenshi's lead and walked over to Byakuran. She had a hand up and appeared to be counting something on her fingers even though she wasn't saying anything out loud. When she put her last finger down Yuriko spoke, "If you kill one hundred ninja Byakuran-kun you'd only know the farmers definition and you could fill 37% of an 8x8 hot tub with the blood." Surely a random fact to know.

Byakuran Usotsuki LV. 9 Experience: 207/500 Hp: 144 Cp: 234 -15 cp 219 cp remaining MHp: 117 Dodge Bonus: 20 To not seem suspcious Diplomacy check: Nat 1, ((faaaaaaaaaail)) (( xd Normally I'd roll to confirm, but I'm cool with this, it's gonna be hilarious.)) To sense suspcion Sense Motive Check: 9+2= 11 ((Pass DC)) Byakuran was currently slurping through his first bowl of noodles....so...rich...sooooo delicate. Delicious...marvelous...superb! Like Most Otobe, given their extremely enhanced senses outside of sight, Byakuran had a great weakness for foods, more specifically good foods. In fact as he began slurping the rather amazing selection of noodles he didn't seem to take any particular interest in anything else... though his hearing was far more developed that his sense of taste. He still managed to hear the boy, Tenshi, and his pointed tone as he remarked upon the coincidence of Byakuran being there. Byakuran thought it a little ironic. He had just been thinking the same thing. At the very least he and this boy would probably get along...they at the very least had their senses of paranoia in common. He still seemed rather focused on the noodles however, his expression rather dully content as what little of it was left focused back to his original dliemna....the scroll. Why was he sitting here? He'd probably be rewarded for handing over one of the mist's jutsu to his clan...and they didn't know he had this copy... there was nothing to lose... so...why wasn't he just sitting here...? He was distracted as Tenshi approached him and addressed him directly, closing the distance between them. "Here's an official welcome to the team," Byakuran looked at the hand that was being outstretched to him, then towards the bowl of noodles he was holding a currently slurping ceaselessly, then back to the hand. He seemed to undergo a brief dilemma, before, rather non-nonchalantly, rearranging his grip on the bowl so he could proceed with his slurping with one hand, shaking the Tenshi's. "Thank you...Tenshi, I believe? You'll pardon me, I've little talent for remembering people's names." Only....he didn't say anything. In truth, his mouth was still quite occupied with the noodles. The sound, and his reponse, had come about three inches to the left of his head, at a point where his chakra had converged with the aide of his Kekke genkai, and generated the noise. Oh it sounded perfectly as though he had been the one to say as such, but... He all to quickly realized his error.  Gulping the noodles down at a suddenly speedy pace he got a slightly exasperated look on his face. "Ahahaha! Ahhh, did I have you going there? I've been working on my...." think of a lie think of a lie "ventriloquism." he finished lamely. "But enough about me!" Byakuran said immediately falling back into his almost a bit too cheerful smile. "I'm just amazed that I was finally accepted to a team, and to a pair I'm already familiar with at that. Truly amazing." At his new sensei, apparently,'s remark, he gave a slightly musing look himself. "You think so...? My thought was that after having met and defeated that many Ninja, I would have found a wide enough selection to draw a conclusion." The next part however was what really got him thinking, random facts such as that prodded his more boundless curiosity. "Really? But surely not. I don't plan to kill them all at once and the blood would almost certainly have dried up in between...perhaps if I used the blood as a basis for a water clone to keep the level of fluid constant and contained I might be to..." he blinked, realizing he'd gone off on a bird walk. "Ah...that was...a joke...? I'm sorry, I'm afraid such things often pass me by." he said honestly.  Mizuiro wasn't very good at hiding his feelings about people, he wasn't like that. He was a little too straight up for a shinobi at times, he just walked up to the new kid, and stared at him for a few seconds, trying to contemplate what to say, and no, Mizuiro will never know that word. What his sensei said was actually quite interesting. Blood...
Mizuiro's train of thought got lost in something about blood spraying everywhere, he wasn't sure where it came from, but he finally knew what to say.
"I know your smell, Byakuran." He was dead serious, like it was actually a threat. But for a Hoshigaki to know someone's smell, they then always know where they are. Tracking him will be easy.Sense Motive DC 1? vs 3 + 3 = 6... pass? Intimidation Check: 7 + 2 = 9...

Yuri-sensei had completely lost him when she gave her mathematical formula of multiple numbers... He didn't even try to figure out what she was talking about. Tenshi shook his hand, but there was something about him that still put Tenshi on edge. It wasn't only his look, but it was his voice. It didn't seem to come from his mouth, since it was busy being stuffed. Hmm... this guy... I don't know... He decided to go along with it, "Ventriloquism? Hm... does that mean you have a thing for puppets?" He doubted it, seeing as Tenshi didn't see a puppet around, but he assumed that was the point in having them. He was completely lost when he went on the analytical of his... joke, as he called it. Oh boy... we surely make an interesting team...

While she had no idea as to why her genin already had mistrust for Byakuran she certainly had plenty reason now. His latest "ventriloquist" act was most likely sound ninjutsu given what the Mizukage suspects. There was no solid though so it was nothing to act on it. It simply meant that she would have to watch him closer from now on. As for the threats and suspicion from Tenshi and Mizuiro, she knew that those would have to stop. "Joke? That was just math Byakuran-kun." she replied to his apology. I'll need to clear it with the Mizukage but let's see how he reacts near the border... she thought to herself. "If everyone is done eating I think it's time to do some more training."

"Oh? Do you you?" he gave a laugh. "I see, I'm honored that you would trust me enough to tell me that!" he seemed earnest enough until his eyes opened.  "Why, if I ever had any reason to want to disappear and never be found again, I'd now know that I'd have to do something about you first." his eyes seemed cold above his smile, the eyes of one who had seen death, who had almost died, and who was perfectly capable of ending countless lives for the sole purpose that his own could persist. They were not the eyes that properly belonged in the head of a teenager...but the Otobe's attempts to turn him into a spy so young had not been kind. However in a moment the look was gone, his blissful smile covering his eyes up once more. "Good thing I wouldn't need to ever do anything like that!" he laughed cheerfully, but it was so cheerful it was almost a little...creepy. These people...he couldn't trust them. Why had he ever thought that he might be able too? They were just the same as his clan. Just the same as himself. They were all out to serve their own purposes. all three of these people, he could tell just by looking at their faces, their actions...they didn't trust him in the slightest... but then why would they? Because he had almost died for their village? Hn...that hadn't been his choice. He'd had no choice but to see the boy who'd figured out he was an Otobe dead. And it wasn't as though he had told anyone, save his clan, that the people who had attacked the village that day had been working for the fire daimyo. He was just using them...just as they were all using him. He would play them against one another as much as need would have it...and then...then....when he was finally strong enough...he'd merely toss them all aside like refuse, and follow his own path at long last...and if his clan or this..."place" that masqueraded as his home, since he was so young, tried to stop him...he'd just kill them all. Hm...that...that was his nindo. His Ninja way. So why was the scroll still in his pocket....? "And no, I don't really have a thing for puppets, I'm a ninjutsu specialist, actually. Throwing my voice is just a hobby, really...I suppose I would say I have more a fascination for singing and music then Ventriloquism. It's just a trick I learned to do with my voice." Not...technically, a lie. He looked a little searching towards his sensei. Her he didn't trust the most...she seemed to...unfamiliar. And yet familiar. She was odd, like himself. And in his experience, the odder a person was, the more dangerous they tended to be. Irrational, maybe...but he'd plenty of evidence to back it up... "So...Sensei, I suppose I should call you now. If I may say I'm rather eager to get started. I haven't really been able to do much besides train lately...well, aside from the mission I accidentally happened upon yesterday.

Her squad hadn't been any different when it was first formed. The other two never trusted her in the beginning since they had heard the stories about how she'd killed other children in the academy. It took a long time for them to come around and she was sure that many squads ended up in the same boat. Still it was a troubling situation... on the one hand she herself had a real reason to watch Byakuran... maybe the other two were just picking up on it? If that was case then she'd need to mask it. According to the intel he's fourteen so maybe he's old enough... "Those eyes, they were so scary Byakuran-kun. You looked just like the hero in my favorite shojo manga when someone threatens his lover." Her normal blank face actually smiled as she talked about her favorite manga. "He's just so handsome and strong." [Seduction Roll] Well hopefully that will throw all three of them off. "I'm sorry about that, it's just I get a little off track when I think about Yuushi." They're all so eager... I kind of want to go on a mission too... but I have to do my job she lamented. "Sensei or Tsubaki-sensei is fine Byakuran-kun. About a mission, well these two already passed their test so now I need to test you as well. You need to pass the test or else I will send you back to the Academy." she explained. She then pocketed the scroll from the Mizukage which she'd been holding the whole time before addressing all three of her students at once. As she started walking toward the exit she looked back to Byakuran, "Byakuran-kun... there's something that I need to ask you." she started in her normal absent tone. "What are your like's and dislikes.... and what are your hopes for the future?" Seeing that everything was going wacky so suddenly, Mizuiro was about to just leave, it was all too much. Especially now that his sensei was turning into a fangirl or something. He wasn't even sure where this sudden change in her came from, it was weird. He didn't like it, he liked her when she was bland, it was more intense. Never knew what she would do to them. He went to their training grounds with confusion.Seduction 43 vs 18 + 3 (Sense motive) ....fail?

His mind went instantly to animals, Maybe they're all in heat? He shuddered at the thought. She was by far one of the strangest sensei's he had. Bumu was strange, but he couldn't figure out what made Yuri tick yet. He would find out sooner or later. "Well, let the training begin then." he stretched out his arms as he followed their captain to the training grounds. It was about to get interesting. I wonder if she'll have us join in as well...

He seemed to twitch slightly, as though something was coming over him slowly. "Ah, yes, a test, that would be acceptable. Though if you would excuse me for a moment...what was it you said before? Hold that thought. Yes." he then calmly, or so seemingly so, walked over to the old man Shippo behind the counter. "Hm? Something else my boy?" Byakuran immediately lost all sense of decorum. "Yes! You, wise purveyor of noddles!" Shippo looked a little surprised, and blatantly amused, at this form of addressment. "Uh...yes?" Byakuran's face seemed blanched. "You used to be a Shinobi correct?" he whispered hastily. "Yes, that's right." Byakuran pointed himself. "Please, I need to you preform the Kai release on me, I believe I have been out under influence of a very unpleasant genjutsu!" "You..." shippo raised an eyebrow. "You think that your under a genjutsu?" "Yes!" Byakuran affirmed looking as though he was wondering why in the world this was even in question. "Clearly, now I implore you to assist me! I have yet to master the technique myself...I clearly must place that high on my list of priorities..." he muttered to himself conspiratorially. Shippo started chuckling endlessly, his tickled expression cracking into a wide mirth filled grin. "Oh, I see. Let me guess...heart beating fast?" Byakuran nodded. "Blood feeling a bit warm? Sweaty palms? Other strange sensations all over every which way?" "Yes! You know this Illusion then!" Byakuran accused, apparently gladdened. The old man continued to laugh at his expense. "My boy. That would good old fashioned hormones. No Genjutsu involved." he raised a brow. "You can't tell me this is the first time you've ever felt this way?" Byakuran seemed even more so shocked. "Hormones...you mean to tell that I am...infatuated...with that girl...?" "Heheheh, yes my boy. I would say that's likely." Byakuran seemed suddenly more ponderous. "...Hm...odd...I HAVE felt this before...but only when I was battling women, and they were trying to kill me." he lifted a brow. "Is....that odd?" Shippo looked a little wrong footed with hilarity. He was currently back to eating his ramen, his mouth occupied with a long stream of noddles from the bowl, while he seemed to be allowing his Water clone to speak for him. There...Water clones were like him, only chakra constructs, meaning they didn't possess a large amount of hormones. He wasn't entirely sure if this would work, but it would allow him to speak without the danger of making a fool out of himself in front of the girl...his sensei...his enemy! Ah! He couldn't forget himself. He had to stay focused and in control. ""I appreciate you waiting for me." He says." The Water clone informed beside him with his cheery manner. ""What was it you asked?" He inquires, "Ah yes" he recalls "I believe it was something about likes and dislikes...?"" The water clone was acting as a rather...odd interpreter, but it was working out fine...and he didn't have to talk directly and risk spilling everything he'd ever known to the older girl...once he managed to get this...this...infatuation....under control, then it wouldn't be necessary. He just hoped that happened before he ran out of Ramen... ""Personally," he informs "I suppose I don't really have any particular likes...I am a bit whimsical I must admit." he exposites. " As for dislikes...well, I'll admit I have a small affinity against being told what to do, but that's really a minor thing that I can set aside for the greater good." he informs brightly." the water clone's own expression never left it's own blissful smile. ""Hobbies? I suppose I play the flute." he muses "And as for dreams for the future...? Hmm...I suppose that would have to be to become so powerful that I can do whatever I want." he laughs."" the water clone said in the tone as if it were a joke. It had indeed worked, meaning that boy was old enough for her use those tactics on him. However do to his age it seemed to cause him to behave a little bit differently than the older men she was used to dealing with. Wise purveyor of noodles? Where did he learn to talk like that?When Byakuran asked if the old man was a ninja her hand almost reached for her kunai preparation for what might come next. There was no time to think however as she had to stop herself from grinning when Shippo began to make fun of the boy by leading him like he knew the genjutsu. You know though... that's not a bad idea... a genjutsu which makes someone think that they're in love. A desire to create this genjutsu formed in her mind despite the heinousness of it. "Hormones...you mean to tell that I am...infatuated...with that girl...?" Oh my... Perhaps he was too young after all... lust was one thing... but infatuation? If the Mizukage was wrong she'd have to deal with one of her students on an emotional level. Something that actually frightened her... she didn't know how to deal with something like that. Andou sat in Hikromi Zitso, waiting for his order. He hadn't been by the ramen store in a while and was craving some of the spiciest stuff the place had to offer. Sure, he normally loved sushi more than anything, but their spicy tuna maki was the hottest thing that style of cuisine had and it really wasn't anything to speak of. Almost humming, Andou settled deeper into his seat, keeping a casual alertness for anything that might happen but above everything else anticipating his ramen order.
