Leila jumped back a bit from the poor rat, looking a bit sad that it's life had to end that way. Now she had stepped out of Violet's and Vanessa's way; it seemed the two would never agree on anything, despite how much Vanessa wanted to be on her good side. It seemed Violet was enjoying the animosity anyway, so there wasn't really much of a reason to stop it, unless it got too serious.
"Come on, Violet. Let her be," she said softly, gesturing to the man Vanessa had pointed to in the water, the same man who had been terrorized only moments earlier. "There's a sufficient meal on that fat body there. If you don't mind him being a bit waterlogged."

((geez, study for 3 hours and the RP runs away from me! xD))

Violet pouted and turned to Leila and frowned,
"But i need something fresh! Do you know how boring it is feeding off the same emotions everyday?" she asked, though she did leave Vanessa be. Turning she saw the wave and leapt to the air, managing to avoid getting soaked to badly. She smirked and flew over to Vanessa,
"Do that again, and you'll regret it," she told her, then landed back on the beach, her knees shaking a little.

Vanessa walked over to the sand, soaked.
"Excuse me for not wanting to get eaten..." Vanessa muttered. She walked over to a tree stump near the dirt path and sat on it. "So, Dream, what else do I need to learn?" Vanessa asked, ignoring Violet.

Violet groaned and sank to her knees, her breathing becoming a little laboured and the gleam in her eyes fading a little. Leaning against a large rock on the beach she rubbed her hands over her face.
"Just a little something..." she mumbled softly, her black hair hanging over her face.

Vanessa threw a disk of air at the man in the water. He was dead from being underwater so long. "There. Eat him." Vanessa said, flatly, not caring that he was dead.

Violet clutched at her head, drawing her knees up close to her. She yelled at the top of her voice, which was pretty loud seeing as she was a demon,
"He's Dead You Moron! I Feed Of Emotions And You May Not Realise This But The Dead Don't Have Any!" she groaned again and went paler still, her normally emerald eyes now a dark, murky green, she looked very ill compared to what she was usally like.

Vanessa though a little. Then, gathering all the courage she had, went over to Violet. "Here. Have me. Do whatever you wanna do." Vanessa said, a little hesitantly. She looked at Violet with Hopeless eyes. "Just do it..."

Violet looked up, a small spark appearing in her eyes again. She stood quickly and before Vanessa could change her mind she stared at her intently, taking the energy. She stood close to her again, her arms spread a little to catch her if she fell. Once she had fed enough she gently guided Vanessa into a sitting position.
"Your going to feel very upset for a while, oh and probably sick too," she explained gently, running slender fingers over the girls forhead.
"Thankyou for that, it took real bravery to do that. I think you ought to know that i haven't fed of someone without killing them for about fifty years," she told her, obviously having more respect for the girl now.

A circle of red now swam around the dead man before the waves carried some of him to shore, leaving a bit of a stain on the sand. Leila's purpose for coming back had seemingly ended with Vanessa's one fell swoop of air, leaving Leila now feeling a bit empty. But her face remained unchanged, not wanting the others to know what she was feeling right now.
She watched as Violet and Vanessa spoke to each other, establishing their own connection of trust. Maybe they would stop arguing from now on...
She pulled herself up and headed to Dream, rubbing her hands together tentatively. Stopping in front of him, she looked up at him and said in a soft voice "I'm sorry for my earlier actions. You can probably assume I was not in my right state of mind, but that still not excuse what I did."

Vanessa limply sat down, eyes drooping. She was feeling oddly sad, although she didn't know why. She tried to sit up, but didn't have the energy, and needed to lay back. She listened to the other people converse, as she rested.

Violet sat silently by Vanessa, watching the shore and the surronding area, her emerald eyes gleaming again thanks to the girl next to her. She sat as if protecting the girl, a knowing smirk on her lips. Leaning forward she whispered in her ear,
"It'll pass soon, though i don't think its a good idea to move around to much for a while," her voice held something different now, as if she were speaking to a young child.

"Well..." He smiled at her. "I guess it's okay. It's not really your fault." He shrugged. "Anyway, he's probably a demon now, and now that Earth and Hell are connected, you'll see him again before too long."

He turned to the other two, also respecting Vanessa's bravery. "Told you you had courage." He placed his hand on her, and sent a beam of light into her, healing her spirit. Healing magic wasn't only focused on healing injury, and he had found that knowing how to fix a soul helps just as much. In this case, it definately was more important. "There you go. That should make you feel a bit better."

He smiled at Violet. "I thank you for not going crazy."

Violet shrugged,
"Well, it's not that hard you know. It's just....last time i fed without killing was 50 years ago," she admited, looking down to Vanessa she smiled, not a smirk or a grin, a real smile.
"I guess i should have mentioned that before huh?" she asked, emerald eyes a little warmer. Lookibg back to Dream again she tilted her head to the side,
"How did you heal her, just then?" she asked, obviously curious.

"Years of practice." He smiled. "Healing was my first skill I ever learned, even before air. I know healing even more than I can control air. It takes the place of physical strength." He opened his palm, and created a small blue-green orb in his hand. "It's also fun to use, and can be used as an alternate source of emotional feeding." He winked at her. "So if you need anything, I can make something for you to feed off of."

When Dream did this, Vanessa felt like she had the strength to sit up. She slowly pushed herself up into a sitting position, and stared at the three. The once clear sky had turned clowdy again, and it began to rain. "Ah!" Vanessa squealed. She tried to get up and go to the shelter of one of the trees along the beach, but didn't have the energy, so she sat where she was, getting wet from the large raindrops falling from the sky.
