((OOC:// Kana-chan, since goddessanime's plan is supposed to take place at night... perhaps we could skip to when Kai and Miki - and probably Diana - get to the apartment complex?))
As soon as Miki took her seat, still smiling - and, seeing this, Kai couldn't help the small grin that crept onto his face - the slate-haired blader sat down as well, promptly reaching for the menu propped up at one end of the table.
Crimson irises flickered over the different lists - soups, entrees, cold cuts, meal sets, and the like - and at length, handed the menu, already turned to the list for pasta, to his sister.
"Tell me when you've decided what you'd like to eat," he said, leaning back in the cushioned chair, "I'll call the waiter over." He'd decided on the regular plate of assorted cheeses and cold cuts, which was according to the menu, good enough for two people. He and Miki would share that, and Miki could have her pasta or whatever else she fancied; he himself wasn't feeling particularly hungry, anyway.

Well ok i was waiting for you onee-chan.
Miki just decided on a simple penne with white sauce. When they was ready, she ate silently but not with her eyes looking at her silent twin once in a while and smiling to herself softly.

Diana was silently looking at the twins as they both ate in silence. "Man, they really look like they were dating if they werent related" Diana couldnt help but laugh silently. Then she decided to wait until they were finish and follow them back to the apartment complex. Of course, they will walk together without them noticing her. She will just remind Kai if something will happen.

Thanks you guys~
I don't know how long it's been (RP wise) since I've left, so I'm going to estimate a week.
Slowly, his eyes began to open; his eyeslids felt so heavy. Everything appeared fuzzy. He had to blink several times, before the ceiling became clear. There was a faint beeping noise in the background. For some reason, he was having trouble breathing.
"Where... am... I?" Yuriy asked, not knowing if anyone was there to answer. Though to his suprirse a familiar, nasily voice answered him.
"You're in the local hospital. I found you all beat up, and unconcious in the alley behind our appartment. What did you think you were doing, huh?"
Bryan was sitting next to the bed in a metal chair, staring down at his beaten and bruised teammate.
Yuriy smirked. So that's why he was hurting all over. He had trained for more than 7 hours straight. Closing his eyes, he muttered.
"Is everything... okay? It was kind of a retorical question. If everything was okay, he wouldn't be in a hospital strapped up to a heart moniter and breathing mask. Though knowing Bryan, he probably just got worried and brought him here just incase
"Well, from what I read of the medical report and from what that nurse told me... You should be okay, as long as you take 2 of these pills everyday... At least, I think that's what she said... It's been 5 days since I asked..." The Russian rubbed the back of his head, a bit embarrassed. He wished he could tell Yuriy something else that would reassure him that he would make it through. But, Bryan didn't really understand what was wrong himself.
The smirk faded from his face. He replied in a sour tone,
"Great..."
Feeling a little awkward, Bryan stood and said, "I'll go check for you right now. Be right back."
He opened the door and stepped out, closing it quietly behind him.

Welcome back glad to see you again.
During the night two spies looked around at the apartment of Kai Hiwatari.
" We should be going back now Keiji they might sense us coming back" Maria said finishing up.
"Okay" Keiji answered.
They went far. Keiji called one of his other friends.
"Are they still there?" he asked.
"Yes at the italian restorant." his friend answered.
"Good"
The two of them waited until the time they sleep and begin their plan.
Maria made a call to Takao's home where an answering machine answered her she said, "Umm Kinomiya-san I am sorry but seems like I can't be in your team. I found some other friends. Hope you would be fine and find a suitable replacement. I will take care of my transfer tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvenience and your time."
Sorry I keep changing some post. Please let them sleep it'll be quick and somewhat nice my idea. Not for Maria though. By the way I'll be early tonight.

Diana was busy taking a short nap until she heard a cellphone rang. She hated loud noises until she decided to increase her sense of hearing."Are they still there?" "Yes at the italian restorant.". What the hell? Diana saw someone who looked like a guy talking to a cellphone. She wanted to shrug it off and think of it as someone else but she couldnt help but feel a tangy sense of caution. She didnt want to worry Kai, not now, Miki was having a nice time and then she will just tell her brother that someone might be trying to ruin their night? No way...it had to wait. So she decided to let it pass and continue taking a nap.

Bryan returned 10 minutes later, looking disappointed. He gently closed the door behind him and resumed his seat on the metal chair next to the pure white hospital bed. It was quiet.
Bryan was staring down at his feet, drowned in his own thoughts. The only thing breaking the silence was the constant beep of the heart moniter.
A few more moments of silence past. Yuriy assumed Bryan would tell him the news any second now, once he worded it out in his head. But, he was wrong.
Bryan just sat there, staring at the tiled-floor beneath them. What was he supposed to tell Yuriy? How could possibly turn what the nurse had said to him, into something that sounded comforting.
He could always lie to him... but... he would be found out later... Yuriy knew him to well; he could tell when Bryan was lying. For his voice would drift from his normal nasal tone and sink into a more normal, middle tone. So what should he do then?
Yuriy sighed. It must be that bad, he can't even find words to tell me... great...
"Yuriy?"
"What? Just spit it out Bryan." Yuriy wanted to know and he wanted to know now. Maybe Bryan was just playing with him. Blowing it all out of proportion only to tell Yuriy he'd be just fine like he had before. Well, at least that's what he hoped for.
"Well...um... the nurse outside said... you have to stay here for another day.... so they can... 'watch' you...." Bryan made sure to word his answer carefully. He couldn't tell Yuriy... well it would probably sound better coming from him than someone like the doctors, or worse, Kai.

It seemed like only a few minutes had passed, but the clock on the nearby wall told Kai that it was getting late; he and Miki were more or less finished with their dinner, in any case.
"Miki, if you're finished," he interrupted suddenly, "I'll pay the bill and then we can go. I'm pretty sure you're feeling tired by now."
And there it was: the familial concern he'd felt ever since the twins were left in their [twisted] grandfather's care, ever since their parents' deaths. Sometimes, this concern manifested itself during tournaments and such, and was often directed towards his teammates. The crimson-eyed teen couldn't let his peers know this, however, so he'd hid it behind cryptic little comments and one-word replies.
With Miki, however, he didn't mind letting the barriers down a little; they were family, after all.
For a moment, his mind flickered on Hiyomura. She'd just went through a very painful experience - physically painful, at least - and hadn't looked her best walking up and away from the observation deck.
Hell, Hiwatari, he thought, pushing concern for the girl to the back of his mind, Hiyomura can take care of herself. It wasn't his affair, what happened to her; besides, he had Miki to take care of.
Presently, Kai pushed his seat back, stood up, and waited for his sister to move, too; he couldn't wait for her outside for it seemed rude, somehow...

Miki gently wiped her mouth with a napkin and also stood up. She smile a little at her brother, noticing his worried expression. Sometimes she can see if Kai was feeling uneasy. "Ok, we could go back now big brother. Lead the way" she smiled. She couldnt help it then let out a small yawn and started to rub her eyes. She was getting sleepy. She was abit glad her brother decided to go back in the right time.

It was hard not to miss the signs - slowed movements, yawning, rubbing her eyes...
Miki was getting sleepy.
Again, Kai couldn't help himself; he smiled, even as he called the waiter over and asked for the check so he could pay, and then they'd be off. The matter of the bill was settled quickly - it was less expensive then he'd first thought - and then he turned back to his twin.
"Mit-chan," - again with the childhood nickname! Lordy... - "if you're feeling too tired, I could... carry you, if you want. The apartment isn't far, if that's what you're worried about," he added as an afterthought.

Miki was a little bit too tired to even hear what her brother just said. She just decided to give a nod and continued to her yawns. But then what her brother did made her almost jolt back to being fully awake.

Diana's eyes shot back opened and looked back at the two. Both were standing and she noticed Miki was rubbing her eyes. She started to fume, thinking tha she was crying but then she noticed she was yawning. Relaxing a little she gave a worried smile "She is just sleepy". Guess she got mad for nothing.

Now Yuriy was getting annoyed. It must be that bad, if his closest friend wouldn't tell him. He tried to think what could be wrong. Could it be something wrong with his mind? Maybe he had just overdone it and they want to watch for any side effects. Ya, that sounds about right.
Thinking he had figured it out, Yuriy smirked.
Bryan saw the smirk creep over his teammate's face. What was he smirking about at a time like this? Wait. Was he about to start yelling at Bryan? Was he mad? The lilac-haired Russian hated these moments when he couldn't read his friend. It meant he was about to either say or do something unexpected.
Just like Bryan predicted, Yuriy started to move as if he as trying to sit up. The heart moniter started beeping faster during his feeble attempts.
It would seem he was weaker than he felt. He couldn't even sit up...
Bryan immediately stood up at seeing his friend's actions. He gripped Yuriy's shoulder tightly, and attempted to push him back down. "What do you think you're doing? You're in no condition to be getting up yet!"
No condition... The phrase rang in Yuriy's ears. He was wrong? Had the red-head made an erroneous guess? A little scared and concerned at the same time. He spoke.
"Bryan? Tell me, what's going on...?"

Watching Miki just nod and rub her eyes again, Kai had to shake his head.
There was no helping it, he supposed, and so he strode quickly over to the blue-haired girl and hoisted her onto his back before she fell over and hurt herself. True, there hadn't been any signs that it could happen, but one could never be too careful.
Moving quickly, yet carefully enough not to jar her awake, Kai made a swift exit from La Picco Italia and made for the apartment complex. He knew he could get them both there in five minutes or less, at the pace he was going. Just enough time before Miki fell asleep completely; there had been several instances in the past where he'd let that happen, and it had been a pain in the butt trying to get her to move afterwards. The slate-haired teen didn't want to have to deal with that, so he'd try his best not to let it happen again.

Miki was abit surprised and tried to hold on to her big brother. Resting her head on the crook of his neck, she remembered one time when her brother use to give her piggyback rides when they were still little. it was when she got a sprain while playing on one of the swings in a park they were at. She remembered how her brother told her to get on his back and he carried her all the way home. Miki smiled once more and nuzzled her head, then slowly her eyes giving way to an entity called sleep.

Diana was following them silently jumping from tree to tree. Smiling at the cute scene, she couldnt help but gave a small sigh "It was sweet of the guy to carry her all the way. Guess that's what big brothers do" Diana just continue to gaze as she continue to trail after the twins. "Wish i had a bro" she pondered in her mind, her black hair swaying through the night breeze.

In the apartment now, and it took some doing before Kai finally had Miki all tucked in bed, making sure she was comfortable. He himself would use the couch, having found it, strangely enough, more comfortable than the bed.
But... wait. Kai stopped short, his gaze intense, calculating. He remembered leaving a half-empty can of soda on one of the tables before when he went out. It was now lying on its side, the remaining contents spilled out and staining the woodwork.
Someone had gone into the apartment before he and Miki did.
Prudence, experience, and his training combined made the slate-haired teen get up slowly, acting the part of teen being indecisive due to sleepiness and canvas all the rooms for the intruders. He did a thorough walkabout of the living room, as though searching for something and having forgotten where he'd placed it. Nothing.
He did the same for the kitchen, bathroom, and then the bedroom, in that order.
There was no one, save for himself and his sister. Still, he had to be careful, and he decided to use the pull-out bed, in order to keep an eye on the slightly younger girl.
It took some time before he actually climbed into bed, having debated with himself on whether to turn off the lights or leave them on. He'd finally decided to turn off the bedroom lights but open the drapes a bit, and to leave on the foyer lights as well. The shadows cast from this particular tended to reach past the threshold of the bedroom, so Kai, from his vantage point, could spot them easily, if he were still awake.
He lay down, arms behind his head and staring up at the ceiling - he didn't bother with a blanket; it wasn't that cold, really. He felt a bit more at ease, having taken precautionary measures, but he still felt... uncomfortable.
Like something he didn't like was going to happen.
In time, after much mulling over the day's events and the possibility of the intruder or intruders returning, crimson orbs fluttered closed, and Kai slept.
