Elvenria Princellah Elvenria Princellah Elvenria Ooc: Yay! Thanks Holly! Bic:The ball flashed, then settled in a flurry of tiny golden starts with a quiet click. Faith was still for a few moments, still unsure of her catch. Then, realizing she had just caught her first Pokemon, she ran forward and scooped Truth into her arms, praising her Pokemon joyfully. She picked up the Pokeball and traced a finger over the line, still scarcely able to believe it was true. Her first catch. Her very own Pokemon. At last. Standing near by was a trainer watching her. "Hey miss, I've been watching your battle near by. Your charmander looks very strong, I can tell she'll be a very successful pokemon in the future. Congratulation's on your first catch!" Faith turned in the direction if the voice, the Pokeball still clutched in her hand. When she saw it was just another trainer, she relaxed. I should stop being so cautious, she silently scolded herself, picking up Truth and walking over to the other Trainer. "Thanks," she said cheerfully, stopping about a metre from the Trainer. "But how can you tell?" Faith wasn't very experienced with Pokemon yet; give her two Eevees and ask her what level they are and she'll be thinking for five minutes! Ooc: By the way, I will give her a name when the time comes. I just don't like sticking to the cliche things such as "WOW I got her! Her name is _____!" you know? wink Hailey looked at her clutch onto her pokeball, and replied, "No need to fear, I'm not gonna steal it." "You can tell because of the way your charmander moves, and the way she listens to your orders." "When I was watching, she did the attacks in less then a second when you ordered them." Gem, her mudkip, looked up and nodded as she to was thinking the same thing. "I didn't think you were going to steal it," Faith laughed nervously, but relaxed her grip all the same. "Hm...less than a second, eh?" she pondered over the words, trying to remember exactly what had gone on during that battle. She had been so excited on her first catch that she had nearly forgotten! "Wait a minute...." she paused, turning over some information in her head. " When two trainers lock eyes, it's a challenge!" Panic gripped her then as she realised this Trainer was probably a lot more experienced than herself; and her Pokemon had virtually no experience whatsoever! She couldn't let her Pokemon faint just as they were beginning to trust her! "Yuppers." "Oh yeah, I forgot about that rule. I'm honestly an inexperienced trainer too, I just began my quest 2 days ago from my home town. I want to become a pokemon master, and see thousands of different types of pokemon. I've studied about pokemon since I was 5" "But if you think you aren't ready, I won't force you to a battle. But gaining some experience might help you to understand more what battles are like. Every trainer always feels nervous about their first battle. Of course, what do I know, I'm a new trainer too."

"Gem, now try quick attack, and when you get close enough, direct a water attack at Ember" Gem gets ready to make her attack, and starts to charge as fast as she can. *Gem directly hits Ember with her water and the fire on her tail goes out which makes her faint* "Return I said as I grasped the pokeball in my hand and said, "You did good" Ok, go Kagome! *Kagome comes out and runs around in circles* Kagome, I know you want to play but you can play as much as you want after this battle, ok? *Kagome nods and gets ready to wait for me to say an attack* Ok, use quick attach and than use double-edge and go at full speed and hit with your hardest. *Kagome nods and attacks* "Gem, watch out, another quick attack is coming your way!" Gem tries to dodge again, but she trips on the ground and gets hit by Kagome's attack. Gem is thrown 1 foot away into the ground, and tries to get back up. She slowly gets back on all four feet. "Yay, thankgoodness your alright. This time, try a tackle attack and use bubblebeam while doing a quick attack." Gem them charges right back while using bubblebeam. Kagome, quickly dodge the bubbles and Gem coming your way! *Kagome moves out of the way but 1 bubble hits her and pushes her to the ground* Good thing it was only 1 bubble. Ok, use agility and when your close enough to Gem use bite and put try your hardest again. *Kagome listens and aims for Gem* Hazel is already at half - way point to fainting. She tries to dodge Kagome's attack, but she just isn't feeling okay anymore. Gem then yelps when she's bitten, and quickly runs away as fast as she can. But as she's running, she's getting weaker. She suddenly faints while running. "Oh Gem, if you were really injured, you shouldn't of tried to go on." Hazel then recalls her pokemon. "Gem, return!" "You put up a great battle, thankyou Gem." Hazel then goes up to Kagura, and says, "Thankyou for the battle. I've learned a lot from this battle." (will post level gains soon) Oh, no problem. Me and my pokemon hope that yours is ok and they hope that they gain alot of lvl's mrgreen Thank you for the battle too, this was the first time that my pokemon battled. She lightly tapped Truth and Hope, causing them to stop their play and sit up attentively like school students. Faith giggled silently, but knelt down to be closer to their eye level. "Do you two reckon you're up for a battle?" she asked gently, making sure not to raise her voice. Her father had had a Poochyena as a pet back home, and every time he spoke to it he would use low, gentle tones which seemed to make it understand. They know you want something, he had told her once. They know you want them to do something for you, and that you aren't a threat.Her Pokemon blinked and looked at each other, as if they were trying to discuss the situation. Then Truth looked up at her and cried "Char!", jiggling up and down with what seemed to be excitement. "I guess that's a yes then!" Faith smiled, mentally celebrating. She would learn something from this. Hopefully.

"Hm...less than a second, eh?" she pondered over the words, trying to remember exactly what had gone on during that battle. She had been so excited on her first catch that she had nearly forgotten! "Wait a minute...." she paused, turning over some information in her head. " When two trainers lock eyes, it's a challenge!" Panic gripped her then as she realised this Trainer was probably a lot more experienced than herself; and her Pokemon had virtually no experience whatsoever! She couldn't let her Pokemon faint just as they were beginning to trust her! "Yuppers." "Oh yeah, I forgot about that rule. I'm honestly an inexperienced trainer too, I just began my quest 2 days ago from my home town. I want to become a pokemon master, and see thousands of different types of pokemon. I've studied about pokemon since I was 5" "But if you think you aren't ready, I won't force you to a battle. But gaining some experience might help you to understand more what battles are like. Every trainer always feels nervous about their first battle." Faith smiled weakly, but shook her head. "I think they should have a go, at least," she said, watching her Pokemon tumble together on the grass. "They've got to level up sometime, and running away won't help!" She lightly tapped Truth and Hope, causing them to stop their play and sit up attentively like school students. Faith giggled silently, but knelt down to be closer to their eye level. "Do you two reckon you're up for a battle?" she asked gently, making sure not to raise her voice. Her father had had a Poochyena as a pet back home, and every time he spoke to it he would use low, gentle tones which seemed to make it understand. They know you want something, he had told her once. They know you want them to do something for you, and that you aren't a threat.Her Pokemon blinked and looked at each other, as if they were trying to discuss the situation. Then Truth looked up at her and cried "Char!", jiggling up and down with what seemed to be excitement. "I guess that's a yes then!" Faith smiled, mentally celebrating. She would learn something from this. Hopefully. Hailey smiled at her enthusiasm. "Okay then, lets start the battle. What kind of battle would you like to do?" "As in, 1 vs 1, or 2 vs 2?" "Hm...I think I'll go one on one, I don't think I'll be able to keep up with two..." Faith pondered. "If that's okay with you, that is!" "Okay, thats fine with me." "I'll use my mudkip." Hailey takes out her pokemon, and says; "Go pokeball!" Out of the pokeball pops a mudkip. Mudkip looks around the field. "Mudkip, you up for another battle?" "Mudkip mud!" Mudkip gets into an attack pose.

They're probable still injured. I feel bad, I hope then heal soon." I wouldnt wanna see injured pokemon playing and getting hurt. Lets rush to the pokemon center quickly. (Thanks for the lvl ups mrgreen ) "Yup, except...where's Nurse Joy's place? I'm totally lost. I guess I'm not so good with maps." (your welcome, you deserved it though) whee "Oh, ummmm. *Looks at map* "Hey, were not that far from Nurse Joys. All we have to go is straight and make a left and were there. Follow me." *Walks down a huge hill and makes a left while Hailey is following* "Okay, that doesn't sound too far away. Let's go then. The faster we get there the better." "Yeah, its closer than I thought. *Goes straight and than turns left* Were here. *Walks in and we hand out pokemon to nurse Joy so she can heal them and she tells us it is late and we should get to bed* *I get on the bed and lay on it, as I sleep I dream of Gem and Ember knowing that they will be ok but I cant wait to see them all happy and cheerful again* Occ: I got to go bed now so I will see you tomorrow.
