Tiana sighed as she stared out at the ocean, keeping a part of her attention on the battle. "Kalo...the hooded one...he's the one...I captured. Don't ask me how it happened, but..." she trailed off. "Then he left...I thought he'd abandoned me. Sigma's...expressed interest, but it hasn't gone anywhere yet. But, apparently it's enough for Kalo to attack him."

Vikki looked over at them again and raised an eyebrow in question. "You have guys fighting over you? I would say cool but I know it won't help. Who's the other guy?"

Tiana looked back, green eyes troubled. "Sigma...a new student. He's got a bit of a past...but overall not too bad. Ask Megido sometime how I met him, he was there in the Caf when it happened." She laughed. "Punched, slapped, kicked, threatened with a gun and a sword...and he keeps coming. Silly boy."

She looked over another time. Kinda cute too.... "I'll do that. Seems to be holding up pretty good though." She sat herself down on the sand.

Tiana nodded slightly. "Yeah, but...Kalo's pretty strong. A lot stronger than when I captured him. Sigma may be holding up well at the moment, but he doesn't stand a chance at his level." She traced in the sand a bit with one finger. "Even if Kalo wins, he's got some explaining to do."

Vikki, not wanting to pry, rubbed her friends shoulder in comfort. "Boys, eh?" She tried to amke Tiana smile

Tiana nodded. "Yeah. Promise me something though...you won't say anything about Kalo?" She gave Vikki a tormented look. "You're my friend, but..." She sighed. "Dammit, don't even know what I want or what I'm thinking half the time anymore. He's everything I fight against and yet..."

"I promise." She smiled reasurringly. She barely knew who the guy was, who was she going to tell? Besides, Vikki had her own things to worry about. "I won't say a word."

Davrick fell forwards, planting one hand on the ground and extending that arm, lifting him into the air and back on his feet a few yards off, spinning around. He growled and slammed the end of his staff on the ground.
"Baram wants you dead...we have something in common!" The dark seer shouted, lifting his free hand, palm facing Sigma.
"Enough games. You're finished!" He called, casting Blizzaga straight for Sigma.

Ah crap! *Sigma tries to dodge the attack but gets his full on, the ice shards drawing his golden blood, Sigma almost beaten* You made a mistake... *Sigma kneels* Smartass. Limit Break: Doomsday's Dropout! *Sigma raises his arms to the sky, the sky going black* I don't care if this hurts me too, it's the only way I can hit you. *He begins to hover, his wings coming out. His eyes go wide as the huge orb sits between him and Kalo* Baram wouldn't want me dead. He was my only friend. *Sigma sighs and looks to his now junk arm* This thing was supposed to be indestructable, oh well. *He looks to Tiana and then to Vikki, knowing he'd have to contain the blast.* It's your choice Kalo, are you willing to let me hurt them too? Take another step and I'll make that ball explode!

Tiana started as spells clashed and the sky darkened. She stared at the massive black orb that formed for a moment, then leapt to her feet, tugging on Vikki's arm. "Come on, we need to get out of the way of that thing..." Then she stopped, transfixed by what was occurring. "Holy s**t..." she breathed.

"s**t...." Vikki gasped. "Tiana we need to move. Now...." She took hold of her friends shoudlers and pulled her toward the town. She knew there was a small cave that was not too far down from where they were, but it was far enough that they wouldn't be killed.
"Follow me and we'll be fine."

Tiana shook her head, coming back to herself and scrambling after Vikki. She glanced back as she ran, biting her lip as she resisted the urge to interfere. "I hope they don't do anything too stupid..."

Vikki found the space and ducked inside. "Down here Tiana. I'm sure they'll be fine." Or at least she hoped they would be. It would be a shame to have bodies for very little reason. She aslo got the feeling that she would have to do some healing by the end of this. "You ok?"
