Where's Haku and Itachi?

A few minuets later and Kiba had finished cooking the rabbit. Seems they didn't have any dishes other than a few glasses, he had to improvise. He used a pieces of slate as a place and carefully brought it inside for Hinata. He knocked on the door and listened, hoping that she hadn't fallen asleep. "Hinata, I have food for you."

Zabuza cursed as he ran back into his territory, then turned to glare at the reason.

"That will teach you what happens when you wander into my territory." a male vampire spoke, a few wolves at his side. With a smirk, he turned on his heal and disappeared into the night.

"Damn b*****d." he cursed again as he held his bleeding arm. His territory was next to one of the older vampires and he guarded it well. Zabuza had thought he'd be able to sneak through with no trouble but found out the hard way that he couldn't. Grumbling and swearing some more, he went back to his lair to heal.

"You have to eat." Kiba tried the door but found it locked. "C'mon, Hinata, open up, the food's getting cold." when he didn't receive another answer, he sighed. "Fine, I'll leave it in the kitchen for when you decide to come out." he then went and put it away, making sure to cover it up to keep it fresh. With another sigh he headed for Shikamaru's room, leaving the door open after going in.

"If she's trying to starve herself, then you better finish her off before she wastes all that blood." Shikamaru said as Kiba came into his room. He smirked at the glare Kiba gave him. "Don't look at me like that, Kiba. I won't hunt so she can eat. If you don't want her to die, you better improve your skills or she really will starve."



Still smirking, he crawled to the end of the bed and wrapped his arms around Kiba. "You're enough trouble to take care of, I don't need a troublesome human to worry about too." When Kiba flinched from his touch, Shikamaru felt a pain shoot through his chest. "Kiba...I'm sorry about hurting you. You know how I get when I'm angry." he kept his arms around him, placing light kisses on his neck, face and lips. "Can you forgive me?"

Kiba felt his anger melting. "I-I don't know." Suddenly he caught the scent of blood, Shikamarus blood, and he groaned. "You're cheating." he turned his face to see his sires lip bleeding, then leaned forwards and started sucking at it.

Shikamaru chuckled. He's so easy...one kiss and he forgets everything.

Kiba pushed Shikamaru away and cursed. "Damn you for that Shikamaru. That won't change anything." I won't let you have me until it's for the right reason.

"Tch, have it your way." Shikamaru got up from the bed and headed for the door. "I'm going out again. I need to get that deer before other things get to it." he then disappeared out the door.

Kiba got comfortable under the covers, a single tear drop rolling down his cheek. I can't hate him. It doesn't matter what he says or does to me...I'll always love him. Heh, I'm such an idiot. he then shut his eyes and fell asleep.

Hinata woke up a few minutes after Kiba had fallen aslep. She stood up and moved the things that she had put to block the door away slightly so she could slip out. She sat down on the couch, glad some light was still on. She had to talk to Shikamaru-san.

Hinata looked up with a slight frown. She quickly stood up and looked at Shikamaru, meeting his gaze. "Shikamaru-san...I-I need to talk to you." Despite her best tries he had been unable to keep her voice from trembling but atleast she could still look him in the eye.

"No. That's not what I want to talk to you about." Hinata crossed her arms. "Kiba-kun is...was... one of my best friends until he came here. You have never had one, right? I-I know you can't...I know what you did was to save his life but...I think he hurts because of it. I know he hurts. He really likes you, Shikamaru-san. And to be blunt. I hate you. You took away my best friend...and you made him fall in love with you and then you act like a ...a*****e to him!" Hinata blinked slightly as she heard those words come out and her voice getting louder. "I hate you because you're hurting him! I would never hurt him. I would never let him get hurt...How well do you know him? Do you anything about who he was before? He can't get rid of that but you keep telling him to. You're an a*****e to him and you know it!"
