Gutierrezgirl Just as Grace was about to go to her dorm, a vampire took her. '" Exo, please save me!" Grace used her powers on Exo. Exo ran to help her and slashed the vampire several times in a merciless rage. "Are you okay? He didn't hurt you, did he?" Exo asked while hugging and holding Grace tightly.

"Hey, Demon Eyes!" yelled Pilata, who was avoiding the vampires, "Come over here and I think I can get both of us to safety!"

Exo thought long and hard about Grace's offer. "I want to help Pilata, but I can't tear myself away from Grace....Wait! She said her power was to make anyone fall in love. Is this what she's done to me?" Exo asked himself. He stared into Grace's eyes and planted a long kiss on her lips. "I really have to help save the school. I hope you understand!" Exo ran off down the hallway.

Grace really hadn't been using her power on Exo. THat was just him.

Quickly, Pilata moved from her hiding spot to thrust a stake, erm, table leg, into a vampire on the roof. Still a bit weak, she almost toppled from the exhertion.
"Go inside," hissed a voice in her mind that was not her own. Confused, she shook her head.
"I must be going crazy," she muttered, but went inside.
From the shadows, the leader of the vampires smiled.

"Pilata! Pilata, where are you?!" Exo called out. There was no answer. "Grace said the last vampire was in the girls' bathroom." Exo stood face to face with his biggest enemy....the girls bathroom door. "I don't wanna go in....but I have no choice!" Exo marched in the forbidden zone and looked around. There was no vampire. Suddenly, a vampire jumped out of the vent and grabbed Exo.

Exo stood face to face with his biggest enemy....the girls bathroom door. "I don't wanna go in....but I have no choice!" Exo marched in the forbidden zone and looked around. There was no vampire. Suddenly, a vampire jumped out of the vent and grabbed Exo. Grace ran in, used her powers on the vampire and forced garlic into his mouth. It left him dazed long enough for Exo to kill him.

"Okay, I'm inside, now what?" she asked, not really expecting an answer.
"Sixth floor," whispered the voice, "There is someone you must aid."
Shrugging, she headed to the sixth floor.

Exo stabbed the vampire in the face and began to run out of the bathroom. "Wait!" he said just as he got to the door. "Did you use your powers on me?" Exo asked Grace.

A sudden pain shot through her head.
"You were not fast enough," the voice said, "You failed!"
"I'm sorry!" Pilata wailed, tears in her eyes, "Who are you? What are you doing to me?"
"Come back to the roof, and I'll reveal myself..."

Memories of Phoenix City came rushing back to him all at once and rage began to fill up his heart. Everytime he had seemed to have found happiness and light, his rage took control. "The closer you are to the light, the bigger your shadow becomes.....
