Random_Monster_Attack Verve rolled over and brought himself to a sitting position. "Hey Sexy." He stared at himself, making sure he had not sustained any serious injuries from the fall. "Damn." He frowned as he shifted his position a bit and removed a glowing red glow stick from his pocket. "I was saving that for tonight" Ruby chuckled, "You goin' to a rave tonight, sugar?" ((the first person in the history of the world to dance!))

The Seer smiled as the tank shells hit their marks, enjoying the power of the machines. He paused, however, and began to walk away, speaking only into Ruby's mind.

"Sure sugar, if we survive whatever we've just fallen into, an' no, I dunno what it is either." She tilted her head at the seer, completely confused.

Devon smiled at Min. "Come now Margaret. You know that you need more than that to protect you." He chuckled to himself as he watched the knife closely. "You need someone else." He coldly whispered.

"I need no one else....I've made sure of it." Minerva swung the knife towards Devon's throat, the weapon making a soft thwick sound from the speed of the movement.

Arch the Angel /Funny. You've got a hundred of these I'm guessing.... The Seer paused as large vehicles decided it was time to show up. *REEeee...Chugk..... REEeee...Chugk. Prsheeeew.* A line of tanks formed up to the sides of the gathered group of Supers on the edge of town. Legs extended from both sides, burrowing and latching into the ground as the barrel flipped, extending into a long tube, aimed at the oncoming AOH troops. "Tubby, reportin' fer duty!" A fat man called as he stuck his head out the top of the tank. He was dressed in military garb, his right eye replaced by a cybernetic implant, which glowed red. "Heard there were a spot o' trouble comin our way, though to try out our new Siege-T's." He barked out a laugh, hopping back into the tank. "Fire at the ugly one!" He roared over the intercom as the 7 tanks opened fire. Siege-T's: LP:50 Everything but a double-power-use deals 7 damage to them, unless it would obviously do the normal damage ((the dreadnought, Anti-tank weaponry, a meteor, that sorta thing.)) Siege mode: Shots deal 20 damage a pot, with 7 damage splash to everything near it. Immobile during, and cannot attack unless target is goodly distance away. Tank mode: 10 damage with no splash, can drive 'round and attack anything. Tubby's tank has 60 life, and deals 25 damage for siege, and 15 for tank. All 7 tanks, including Tubby's, just fired on the oncoming AOH forces. Have fun, T00L. The ground shook, vaugely remiscent of the T-Rex scene in the first Jurassic Park. Behind the Siege Tanks, approached a massive mech, most of it's metal skeleton and internal working showing. One arm was missing below the elbow, both legs fully intact. The head was merely a pair of cameras on a hyrolic ram, the complete arm humming menacingly. Eric's voice crackled over the radio. "Well, Captain Tubby's tanks aren't the only suprise." He said, a light chuckle to his voice. The thing's legs popped open, a pair of massive rams sliding out of each, and driving themselves into the ground. The completed arm raised, and locked into firing postion, and the menacing hum grew louder. "Ready, boys?" Nova ((Incomplete)) LP: 75 MP: Fuel Rod Cannon ((2))- Deals 30 damage a shot. Fires one shot from each barrel. This weapon CANNOT target anything other than vehicles or buildings. Splash damage deals 5 to anyone or thing nearby. -Siege Mode- Yamato Cannon ((1))- I roll a D-6, then a d-10. Damage is equal to the d10 times the d6. ((Example, I get a three on a d6, and a nine on the ten, I deal 26 damage.)) If the rolls for damage are above half ((3 on the d6, 5 on the d10)) The Nova cannot react for 2 posts. CANNOT target anything other than vehicles or buildings. The Nova is slow-moving, and not manuverable at all. Right now, it's only half completed.

Hattie followed Eric's battle machine onto the field, keep a modest distance. From the truck, she couldn't do much but maybe tease a breeze, but to make full use of her powers, she'd have to come in contact with the Earth or something earthy.

Verve shrugged. Neither he nor Ruby knew what was going on, but with all these large machines around someone had to be a bad guy. "Eeny, meeny, miny, moe" he counted off in his head as he pointed to the different tanks. Finally deciding on the Nova and hurling a large ball of energy at it.

"Jerhic's going to liberate the ******** outta you, ********! I'm with the angel! The badguys are on thier way!"

Spike nodded as the seer departed. "If you are not a warrior, you should stay behind me. These humans will break upon me like water upon rock." He said to Ruby. He stepped in front of her, facing the remaining humans. He knelt down, and held his shotgun in front of him. "If they can brave our defenses, let them come."

Ruby gave Spike a smile, "I can us'lly hold my own, but that's all right. I don't mind watchin' backs an' healin' folks instead." She took a seat on the ground, and waved to Hattie. "Come to watch the parade too?"

After reaching the gate, Bobby spotted a small group of defenders and came over to join them. He was surprised to find..."Ruby! How are you?"
