(Yar, but he can also choose not to attack with his off hand weapon if he wants too. Let him get a feel for it before he goes two-hand, It's more complicated. Anyway, no more ooc. xD ask these things over PM if they confuse you.

Long gave note to his attack as his strike missed with hitting Shunketsu. Long then backed-up from the attack with a half- shunpo step while re-capping his stance. His body quickly moved away as he now waited while quickly planning his next step

Long moved away and quickly retaliated with somersault following with a strike of his own while bringing the polearm down over the top with a downfall grasping it with vertical swing in the process.

Obviously nobody left Haruko the memo that the sane thing to do would be to not poke Hikari, or maybe even challenge her. Okay. That's a lie. She'd take it all in good humor. Well. The insane variety that is. The idea of trying to get the 'chibi' mad might have been a good concept if it weren't for one little thing. It's all a game to her. When Ai-chan mentions a strong student, she has an elated look on her face. Being the type dense to sense other reiatsu around her, she swings her arms in the air, bokken and all. It's likely standing behind Hikari would mean Haruko gets delivered a nice little bonk on the head. What could possibly make matters worse?
Hikari seems to squeal in delight as she rushes, zig-zagging, over towards Ai-chan. She looks over her shoulders and waves to Shunketsu, Long, and Haruko. "Have fun Hentai-san!" Then she finally takes actual notice of Haruko. You'd think she'd notice being poked repeatedly on the cheek? "Later Poku-chan!" Okay... Maybe Hikari did notice her... She rushes over to Ai-chan with her arms horizontal and bokken trailing. She looks like a child playing plane... She takes a good look at Megumi. She pouts as she looks between the sensei and the student she called strong. "Are you sure he's strong?" She crosses her arms over her chest as she tilts her head, looking up at the sensei. Even pouting she manages to smile.

"Well, I think he's almost done with his classes here. I thought he was, but then again, there was one by default. I know I wouldn't wanna win by default. Heh heh. Oh well, not my problem. If you wanna play with Megumi, I don't care..although, there's a lopsided class again. Maybe I'll play with you after all. I'll have to hold back though, I don't wanna kill you in practice.."
She sighs and tips her hat back..

Haruko sighed softly to herself. Either the chibi was strong as well, very brave, or incredibly stupid; possibly all three. Seeing as the chibi had taken an interest in the new student, haruko assumed she would be against the teacher. Who knows, maybe that would be for the best...

Megumi turns and smiles at the new student who seems alone. He walks over and bows, a deep, formal bow, before taking her hand and kissing the back of it. Quite a romantic, this man. He then walks to the shelf and takes the wooden weapon that has a handguard like his own sword. He sets his sword down, and murmers gently to it..
"I'll be back, love. Don't worry.."
And he salutes to Haruko.
"If it pleases you, my lady, I will be your opponent. It seems the little one is infatuated with the teacher.."

Hikari tilts her head from one side to the other. She then proceeds to count the students. Is she really that dense? "Hentai-san... Poku-chan... Onnarashii-san... Kobuki-san..." She stops after opening four fingers. Yes. She's counting the students. Then she looks up at the ceiling. She's missing something... Missing something... She almost gasps as she realizes just what and raises a fifth finger! She smiles as she turns back to face... "Ai-chan! Gimme a sec!" She rushes over to the wall with bokken leaning against it and searches for something. She picks up a rather short one. The way she holds it suggests a more defensive pose for a weapon.
"Since you're strong, I'll grow stronger!" She waves a finger at Ai-chan which causes the shorter bokken to shake behind her hand. "Now you can't go killing good sparring partners. You can't grow that way. Neh? Ai-chan?"
