Kankuro's eyes widened a bit. "Uh... Akamaru?" He murmered when he noticed the dog running for him quickly. When he jumped at him, he gave a bit of a yelp and took the collision full on, falling backwards, and into the water with a splash.

"No!" Hinata said, then more calmly, "My cousin actually. We...don't talk much." She looked over at Neji for a moment and sighed. "I still hope that someday things will become better between us. Who knows, maybe it will happen this summer?" She slide off the stool. "I should go see how everyone's doing. Thank you for the drink."
Akamaru swam around in the water, Frisbee still held in his mouth, circling Kankuro. If a dog could laugh, he'd be laughing very much right now. He made his little noises as he continued to swim around.

Hidan walked up to the bar and said to Kakashi " Excuse me sir, do you have a minute?"
After the rather interesting program about the sex lives of the ancient Romans, Gaara started flipping through the channels. He noticed something rather unsettling.
' Why the hell am I on every channel? Oh crap...my state of the union address is broadcast today. I didn't know they got it in this country. I sure hope they aren't playing it on that huge tv in the bar or else everyone will know who I am and I won't get a moment's peace for the rest of this vacation. If I have to explain that damn foreign policy to one more person...I swear...'

He nodded sitting on the seat behind him as he put the helmet on and grabbed ahold of him just above his waist. I'm never gonna get use to these things... He sighed preparing himself for the ride.

Kakashi waved to the girl before looking at the new person who wanted to talk to him. "Ah, sorry. What can I get you?" He smiled, grabbing a cup. He liked ignoring the news, though the sudden 'State of the Union' thing sounded diffrent, he shrugged. He wasn't really into politics.

Kankuro floated on his back for a while and sighed. Now, watching Akamaru, he couldn't help but grin a bit. "Hey, Akamaru... ever been surfing?" He asked the dog. Maybe, a little extra weight could help him steady his board? "I bet that could be something to wear you out." He looked at the dog.

Hidan watched as Kakashi made his drink. ' ******** politics. Who lets a 15 year old kid be president anyway? His hair is too red and what's with that tattoo on his forehead? That's so retarded' he thought. When Kakashi handed him his drink he said " So, how is life treating you?"

Kiba carefully backed out into the driveway then started down the road. He didn't go as fast as he normally would, but went at a leisurely pace hoping that Shino would get used to it and see that it was rather enjoyable. How can you not love the feel of the wind against you and the sun on your face? Not to mention all that fresh air. He was aware of the hands on his waist and he felt rather comfortable with it. Weather it was just because it was his best friend sitting behind him or something else, he didn't know.
Akamaru's answer to the question was to climb onto Kankuro in an attempt to use him as a flotation device. He dropped the Frisbee and started licking Kankuros face, his body shaking with excitement.

Kankuro laughed and pushed the dog off of him. "Alright, we'll go rent a surfboard." He then said, and began swimming for shore. When he got there, he pulled off his shirt so it wouldn't be sticking to him uncomfortably before tying it around his waist and removing his shoes. Carrying those with him, he headed up the beach a bit. "C'mon." He called to Akamaru.

He tightened his grip on Kiba slightly, but not enough to hurt him and tried to act like he wasn't scared at all. Oh god I hate these things, hurry up and get me off this thing! He eyed the road below them as they passed by it and moved his arms around his waist so that he was more like hugging him. please don't get in accident I don't wanna get squashed His inner self was whining and crying, though he fought to show his fear infront of Kiba.

Akamaru followed happily after Kankuro, the Frisbee back in his mouth. He shook off when he got onto the shore, than ran a bit ahead, but not going too far. He was beginning to wonder where his master was, but didn't really care. He was having fun playing with Kankuro.

Kakashi gave him a blank stare before replying, "I don't really care about religion. I see nothing special in it." He quickly turned his head to the television to see Gaara's face there. "Heard he's staying here. You should try talking him into that junk."

Kankuro eventually reached the shack where they rented out surfboards.
"Back again, Kankuro?" The guy running the thing asked.
"Yeah... brought a friend with though. Was thinking he might help me keep things steady, this time." Kankuro replied, nodding his head to Akamaru.
"I didn't know you liked dogs. And, you're still in your clothes? Just get off of work?" The guy said that as he went and grabbed a board.
"Yeah... taking a bit of an extended break, actually." Kankuro replied. "Thanks." He said, paying for the rent of the board, and tucked it under his arm before heading out towards the beach. "Come on, Akamaru! I bet we can find some low waves to start on."
