From what I've gathered I must be on the other side of the spirit world. I come from a world called Earth. We have supernatural creatures of all sorts, but until recently we stayed hidden. The primary ones are vampires and shapechangers. The Triad I spoke of controls the areas of birth, formation and destruction; all of which are essential in any world. There are also other gods, or celestines depending on who you talk to. There is one all powerful god but he hasn't been seen in quite a while and no one is sure who made the world, either this one god or the triad. Most think that the one started the ball rolling and the triad was accidentaly created out of the mix and took over when the god left. We have spirits, who teach us. We have normal humans, but their numbers have decreased rapidly in the last decade. We were somewhat technologically ::she stumbles over the word a bit, like she's not used to saying it:: advanced but a lot of it went away when the human numbers were decreased. We pretty much lead a simple life now.

::Uh oh, it wasnt audible, but she thought it. The Oil lathering didnt stop, it just continued as she tried her best to play it off. Lanhie's mind may have said things didnt make sense, but the room around him said this was the truth.::

::High maintenance woman? Something? She would be sweating if she could, thankfully physically she could and if she could the scent would have been masked. But she continued.::

I was with Watcher, a childhood friend, and we had to do a bit of traveling because of that one dream I told you about. On Earth we can get around by Moon Bridges. They are these long silvery bridges that can take you to spiritual hubs. Watcher and I were on one going home and somehow it broke, I never knew one could do that. We tried to hold onto one another but we weren't strong enough ::she starts tearing up a little, but no tears fall:: and we fell apart and then I woke up in the middle of a grove and when i went running for help I ran into Lanhy. He happens to be Watcher's father, so at least I know someone here.

Hmm. Well, at least you have friends!
::He said with a smile. The old man was horrible with secrets and had this problem of leaking them in places they definately shouldnt be. So he did his best to cap his yap on that one. And nod. Though he did let out a sincere "Oh no", when she mentioned the bridge and he offered her a soft hankerchef when she began to tear up.::
At least you have friends here, some come with far less. This Lanhie, he's strong right?

He is in all ways. He went through a tough childhood and then with the help of my Mother he's become one of the greatest warriors Gaia has. He seems to be coping well with the situation although I know he's worried about Watcher. ::sigh:: I don't even know where exactly we are going, its why I've been trying to talk to people about this place. Lanhy's looking for something, that stupid raven who was plopped in front of Lanhy is looking for something. I'm just tagging along so I don't become lost. I only had one thing that was really important to me and I'm having to cope with never seeing him again. Life was made really easy and really hard on me all at once. ::she pauses for a moment and lets out a slight chuckle at her situation. Then seems to shake herself out of this mood she always seems to talk herself into. she straightens up and looks at the old man:: So how is it you have come to work for the captain? did you come voluntary or did the captain swindle you too?

Though as Lahnie left, having not closed the door a few voyuers tried to peak around the corner, and from behind him Lanhie would be treated to the sound several small explosions from down the hall and the sight of two grown men with their clothes partially aflame rushing past him. They'd be ok, their other pants and perfectly unsinged crotches.::

You say you've swindled the captain? What would be your price for swindling him out of a crew member? I would have to pay you in services of some kind of course, but I would try to come up with a deal that would be fair to you that I would be able to do.
