Andrew yawned and stretched as he woke. He scratched himself and looked at his clock, which abruptly made him stop scratching and plastered a look of terror on his face. "It's noon already?!" he whined, looking at the alarm clock. But, he had set the alarm for 5. He remembered doing it! He turned the clock over, and saw a switch that said "ALARM : ON/OFF." It was in the off position. He groaned and got up out of bed. Everyone was probably awake by now, he realized. He tiptoed over to the washing machine, and silently thanked whatever god was listening that it was one of the machines that dryed as well. He slipped on the pants and looked the shirt over. There was still a faint splotch of brownish pink where Atticus had bled on him. He sighed and put copious amounts of stain remover on the shirt, then put it back in. As he turned the knob to start it, his stomach growled. He had missed breakfast, he suddenly remembered. Andrew clamored down to the kitchen to look for some eats.

Dawn lead the way to the hallway and followed it down to the last door on the left and pushed the door open.It was really one of the rarely used rooms as the mansion was so huge. "So I wanted to say sorry about how I have been acting lately..." Dawn said as she looked at Buffy. "I have been a bit of a brat but its coz I didn't know what I was wanting to do with myself, but now I know and I hope you can help?"

After 30 minutes of beating the punching bag to an already dead state, Faith headed upstairs to the kitchen to see Andrew, wearing only her borrowed pants. "Hey Andrew, how's it going?" Faith dug around in the fridge and found some left over pizza. Grinning, she placed it in the microwave.

Buffy followed Dawn into the lounge. She had plans to use this room for meetings for the girls, or perhaps as an office for Dawn and herself. Sitting down on the settee, she looked at her little sister. Not so little anymore. And having lived her teen years the way she had, it was easy to forget that Dawn was just a normal girl, thrown into horrid circumstances. No matter what she had been created for, she was still just a girl. And she'd had no freedom, no mother, no real friends but the ones Buffy was basically in charge of. She sighed. "Dawn, you're not being a brat. You're being normal. I just don't want you self-destructing. I worry about you, and you know I'm leaving soon. Is all this so i don't? Cuz I have to, you know. There are girls all over Europe, lost and confused. I can't leave them like that, and I need you here, in charge with Will and Xand." She leaned into the settee, and crossed her legs. "And I know I've been neglecting you, especially now with Angel. I'm sorry." She half shrugged, her right shoulder raising up, the fabric of her jacket stretching momentarily across her back. That felt like the most she had said to Dawn in weeks. Their time after the crater had been spent moving in and getting settled, placing the girls in some jobs for the new council... and Buffy and Dawn had been side by side, working together and communing like sisters do when they're at their best. But recently....

Dawn smiled and sighed with releif "I know... just wanted to make sure we are on the same page, so to speak. I was hoping to learn magic from Willow, what do you think? will she teach me?"Dawn asked hopefully. She patted Buffy's knee. "How are things with Angel being human now anyway?" she asked her sister. It felt good to be talking like this with her as it felt like they have been ignoring each other for awhile.

Andrew pulled out an orange and started to peel it. He smiled at Faith as he threw the skin into the trash. "Good. You missed patrol last night, me and Buffy picked up a guy." He seperated a slice from the orange and put it in his mouth as he put water on to boil for tea. "You want any?" he asked Faith, motioning towards the kettle.

"Oh god, so good, especially now that we can have se-" she coughed. "Uh, now that we can have se...ntimental moments...uh..." So.... now what, she thought. "Willow would love to help you out with that. She's been whining about it for a while now. And I think you'd be made for it... " Buffy's stomach grumbled, and she grinned self-consciously. "How bout I make us a couple sandwiches, Dawnie?" She stood and ruffled her taller sister's hair.

Dawn grinned and let Buffy get away with ruffling her hair that she takes forever with looking after. "Cool... that would be great then" she grinned when Buffy almost said sex. "You know you can talk to me about that word Buff" she giggled as they headed back to the kitchen. "Sandwhiches would be great" Dawn nodded. "Buffy and Angel sitting in the tree, k.i.s.s.i.n.g" she sang teasingly. It was good to be friends again as she knew that Buffy was going to Europe and Dawn would have to be more responsible. "First comes the love, then comes the marriage and then comes the baby in the baby carriage" she laughed and sat at the kitchen table with Faith and a new guy. "Hi guys" she said, Dawn was in a better mood now and was glad that she had gone and gotten the milk earlier. "OOH another one of my fave songs" she said and went to turn the radio up slightly. It was Robbie Williams 'better man', she started singing along to it. "I'm Dawn" she said to the new guy after she finished singing.

Willow had woken up early that morning, and since everyone else was either sleeping or out, she decided to head out for a bit. There were plenty of supplies she needed, and then maybe some breakfast.. or lunch? Maybe clear her head? Stop thinking of Oz in that way? Remember Kennedy? She walked through the Magic Supplies Shop, picking out some lavendar and some Praying Mantis Skin. Tossing those into her little basket, she brought everything up to the lady behind the counter. "Hey... I'm ready.", Willow stated the obvious, earning an aggrieved sigh from the woman, who began ringing it all up. Willow paid, held her paper bag of goodies by it's paper handle (Must preserve our mother Gaia, she thought) and was about to head on home when she spotted a sign in front of a shop a few blocks down Main street.
GRAND OPENING!!! FREE SCONE WITH EVERY LARGE MOCHALATTE!!!
Could Willow resist a mochalatte? Possible. Free scone? Um, no thank you. Time for sugary goodness and that pretty sugar high, she thought with glee, heading across the street and down the block.

Andrew raised an eyebrow at Dawn. It had been a few months since he had seen her, but had she really forgotten who he was? "Hi Dawnie, hey Buffy." He held the kettle aloft for the two. "Anyone want some tea? Some of the Watchers rubbed on me when I was in England." He ate another piece of his orange.

He seperated a slice from the orange and put it in his mouth as he put water on to boil for tea. "You want any?" he asked Faith, motioning towards the kettle. Faith arched an eyebrow at Andrew, and nodded as he asked about the tea. "Sure, thanks. So tell me about him. Why was he out so late? And why are you not wearing a tshirt...?"Faith smiled shallowly at Dawn as she picked at her pizza. She took a couple bites, and then nodded to Buffy. She kept eye contact with her for a moment, and then looked away. She focused on eating her pizza, so she could go back to her training routine with the punching bag.

Amy walked through the streets, planning to head towards the local magic shop. After Sunnydale had been destroyed she had spent a few months wandering the country. She had hoped to find her father, but found only a mention on the news. His secretary, whom he had been having an affair with, had killed him. Without any family she fallen back on magic to keep her company. It had eventually led her here, to Cleveland, a hellmouth and nexus of power. She was technically homeless, she stayed in a hotel, using her old trick of paying with invisible money. It was a nice existance for the most part, though she did sometimes want some companionship.
As she headed towards the shop, she noticed a giant banner advertising free scones. Though the appeal of something being free probably shouldn't of tempted her, not planning to actually pay anyways, a bargain was a bargain. She pulled open the door to head in, when an approaching figure caught her eye. Bright red hair. A weird, sugary glee expression on her face. Amy swung her bag around to cover her shirt, which had a giant cartoon frog on it, and ran over to her. "Willow?" she asked as she approached. They hadn't left on the best of terms, she knew, but a familiar face was a familiar face, and it wasn't like she was doing anything terribly despicable these days.

In the house, Phoenix stamped up her letters and walked outside to put them in the mailbox, noticing that Faith's jeep was still all sorts of screwed up. "That dude's gonna get his a** handed to him two times," she said to no one but the birds. Phoenix headed back in, figuring that while no one was around, she would check out where Spike's room was supposed to be, and perhaps creepily spray some of his yummy cologne. When she got there and opened the door, you could have knocked her over with a feather. She realized she now knew what that phrase meant. That guy.. from the other night.. the a*****e. He was asleep in Spike's bed. "What the HEll are YOU doing here?", she screeched.

Willow sucked in a breath and the quickly let it out as a frustrated sigh. "What the hell are you doing in Cleveland? And why -" You know what, she thought. No. Not doing this. Not after what she did with Warren. She entered the cafe, inhaling the smells with happiness, and ignored Amy.

Andrew shrugged. "His name is Atticus. Besides that, I don't know. I think he hunts demons. He had alot of scars on his body..." he stood a moment, as if lost in thought, then quickly snapped out of it. He looked down at himself. He had forgotten that he was shirtless. "Oh, well. Atticus kind of... bled. All over your shirt. So I'm washing it." He winced, preparing for any kind of smack-down that might occur, then after a moment ate another piece of his orange, still recoiled. "I need to go get myself some clothes..." he thought out loud. He felt uncomfortable being half naked in tight pants. After he realized he wasn't going to be hit, he poured four cups of tea.
