Skah's voice was remorseless as he spoke back to Luca ; "If the Rotian clans are still under threat from slavers then I should hope that at least my Empire can stay them, hold off the slavers at least from our borders. I have no care for the other places of that world, or those who enhabit it." It was apparent that he was cold and un-opinionated about it, though there was no 'apparent' reason. He grabbed a fistful of nuts from a near-by bowl of 'complimentary' bar-nuts and popped them one by one into his mouth.

"Oh shiznit..." Tay smoothed her hair back once again, though it was a natural gesture for her in a situation. "Sorry, Vice Admiral. And if it' okay with you, I'd just like to patrol the area. This place is nothing like my own sector, so I'd like to get a feel for it. And get my weapons back, if that's alright."

"You can have your weapons back." Thorn said. "And you pretty much just have free time on this ship until Rose returns from her mission. Have you already gotten your scans and your cabin number?" She asked.

"No it's nothing like that, I just wish I knew where to go to slaughter the enemy once and for all. It was too close on my last assignment, even that kid got into some trouble... but I'm no rookie, I should've cought it on time." Skah held his side for a moment before taling again ; "Did you know that some insects pass their memories onto their offspring? What if they're just constantly learning our tactics, our weapons... our people? What then?"

Luca looked down at the ground. "We have reason to beleive that only the brood queen can reproduce." He said. "We've disected many Drones and Goliaths, and found no reproductive structures in them; so I'd say that we're safe from their offspring automatically learnign our tactics."

Skah gave a solid 'hah!' in disbelief before giving Luca a few words, dripping in sarcasm ; "Well I'll just have to take your word for that, then." he glanced around quickly and turned to face Luca ; "It'd driving me insane! If we don't kill all of them, they'll report back and give our secrets, looking at their weapons it's obvious that they're not a stupid race. Consider, a probing attack it's quick and sloppy, then they retreat. They're studying us, and if that's not the case then they'd have never let up on us down there!" he grabbed Luca's arm and let go with a shove when he realised he was acting like a crazy-man. ; "Hmph, well if it keeps going like this I'm grabbing a ship and getting out of here. Once they know what they need to know, we're dead and that's it, game over."

The dropship landed in an open plaza in New Gettysburg. The door unlocked and opened, making a ramp to the ground. Rose was the first to get out of her seat, and everyone followed suit.
"Alright." Night said, as the rest of the soldiers filed out of the ship. "Garrek has th coordinates downloaded, we're pklaying tis misson by the book; infiltrate the building, clear out any enemies, and evacuate the civilians."

Skah shook his head ; "There are so many sectors I've been assigned to, and I've been trying to forget most of them. Besides, it's usually a thankless task, liberating sectors and anhiallating the enemy. Why don't you refresh my memory?"

"Sector three hasn't been attacked yet." He said. "But half of the entire colony is abandoned, filled with energy reactors." He looked over at Skah again. "We have something there that the Scarabs don't yet know about."

(I was just letting you know why I hadn't posted here for a while.)
Kray just follows Night, his rifle's power pack inserted and safeties off. He instantly starts to look around, looking at the tops of the ruined buildings and keeping an eye for any movements.
