He watched slowly as all eyes turned to him. It was abit unerving, but he shrugged and merely walked on. Nothing he could do about it. He walked foot after foot until the screeching resumed. t first he paye dit little mind, but merely quickened his pace to be rid of it soner. But, as sensitive as his ears were, as soon as it began reaching higher octaves, and he began feeling a steady trickle of blood form his ears, that he began to show signs of discomfort. His pace quickenned significantly, his ear structure reshapingto lessen the pain as he clutched the two deathmasks and made a rush for the exit.
Practically clawing for the door, he finally flung it openned and stepped out rather hastilly. Slamming it behind him, he slid down against it. Exhaling a long jet of fog from between his lips, he began reforming the structures of his inner and outer ears. He didn't need his balance screwed up on top of everything else.

*But the chasm he ventured back out into, was not the same he had enetered. Too many corridors radiated off, none of them looking different to the others, all dark and menacing. Grand hallways, twisting corridors, narrow chasms and cavernous galleries lay ahead in any direction, the ice black as jet, and as reflective as polished obsidian. It was in this polished surface that the first scene of many would play out. A simple and brief scene of Leer himself back befor eeh was Sired. From the first night Ice saw him in fact, as a bartender at the Turtle. Though this time... the entire scene was shown from Ice's perspective, complete with malvolent evil and dark intent.through Ice-o-vision it wa spossible to see how the faun had first viewed Leer - as a child, but marked with a taint. Small as it was now, Ice saw Leer as if he had a small black orb in his chest, a seed waiting to grow.
No sooner had the brief flash come, then it was gone, leaving behind only the vague feel that all was NOT right in the least and a labyrinth of amaze to navigate to get anywhere.*

As he stood, he looked around, and shifted into the more comfortable faun form he'd become acustomed to. He panned his head around looking at the new labyrithine passages of the Ice Chasm.
His eyes quickly turned to the scene playe din front of him instead of the chasm though. He watched, through Ice's eyes, what he'd once been. He watched, resented what he'd been. Nothing compared to now.
As it faded from his sight, he looked once again at what was ahead of him. He was goiong to need a few tricks to work his way out of this mess...An dif Ice was controlling this there was no guarantee he'd ever make much progress...
He began thinking of ways through this. shifting first to Auspex, then hunting for a scent. If he could locate some one else in the more acco, modating levels of the chasm he might be able to hunt his way out. He knew that if the Chasm would allow, both Ice and Faye could be found, or at least Ice...Untill he'd at least run out of options of navigation he wasn't moving.

*None of teh tunnels or passages seemed much different, but one of the initial 5 options DID seem to hold the scent of life further along. The smell fo damp fur and wet dog, though very faint. Overhead, the ice cracked a little, the sound of cracks settling richoeting off the cold walls, making the sound twice as loud.
One minute after it had first played, the clip of Leer at teh turtle repeated itself.*

He stood, contemplating it a momment, and then decided that even if it wasn't what he was lookling for it was better then nothing. Besides that, he didn't want the chasm collapsing in on him, as he suspected might be starting to happen. The ice was thick, but it he'd a suspicion, that if needed it could fall on him quite quickly. And, since that didn't sound very promising, he made off towards the path that he'd found that small smell of life in. Something was there, and that just might be better then wanderring forever down here.

*As Leer moved down the corridor, more scenes flashed in the ice. Some, he featured in, others, people from Ice;s past, or even just Ice himself. Snatches of voice occasionally played, flashes of eyes, blood, battle. And then... Gally. a brief flash of her, as observed by a watcher on a rooftop as she passed on the street below. A brief vision, followed by Leer back before he was Embraced once more, then anoher flash, to Ice holding out his hand to Leer after turning him*
All or nothing, boy...
*The smell of damp dog slowly grew stronger.*

he kept calmly walking toward that scent. As he did, he glanced here and there. Each scene gaine dhis attention for it's duration. he paused more form interest then anything else. As the last one flashed into play he actually stopped to regaurd the ghost of an image.
.:All or nothing, boy...:.
The voice in his head seeme dto taunt him...Originally it was Ice's, as it had been...And then it was something else...One that was mostly his own.
he hissed quietly at himself, and then turned form that vision too. He kept walking towards that one scent.

*turning a corner, the hallway suddenly widened out into a large chamber, but the exits from it were far too small for the massive hulking beast within to use to get out. How long it had been here was anyones gues,s but from teh bones and remains in the odourous cavern, the beast had been enjoying a fine selection of would be travellers and adventurers and developed quite a taste for them. Standing at 9 foot tall, with massive shoulders, the half wolf, half bull like being was all power, if a little slow. Lumbering round at the sound of Leer's hooves, it bellowed once, then charged straight for him, huge clawed hands reaching out to grab for him as it shambled its bulk into a lumbering run, about as bad as a freight train with no brakes*

Rounding he corner, he found himself face to face witha hulking giant of a beast. The bones literring the said one of two things: Either A, It was given meals on a regular basis, or B the thing had some muscle behind it...Liekly both.
He hissed a long quite note as it roared at him form the depths of it's lungs.
"You've gotta' be shittin' me..."
It really went without saying...This wasn't what he'd been planning on. He had to do something though. Fighting or running seemed the two obvious options, and with it lumbering straight at him the options became a bit more restricted.
With the death masks held in each hand he was further restricted. That in mind, as it ran at him, he sought to halt it's progress, even if just for amomment, by throwing up barricades of ice. A wall of spires angled at it, each one several feet thick and razor edged.
As those were shooting out of the ground, he threw blood aorund inside his body and jolted off to the beast's left in a bolt of Celeric speed leaving behind a nice afterimage to distract it. Off to it's flank, he formed another lance of ice, similar to the first but smaller and more precise. He hurled this one at it's head as soon as it made impact with his other distractions.

*Another roar shook the room as the beast met with teh first set of spikes, blood spurting from its chest as its fur hide was ripped aside, revealing an inner structure of dense bone, protecting its internal organs. Though hurt, it was far from slowed and actually shattered some of the spikes, huge arms swatting at the spires as it free ditself, lunging for the after image and howling as the thrown spike shot through its neck fur like an oversized piercing. Bellowing with rage, it smashed one fist into teh wall, causing stalagtites far far overhead ot dislodge and fall haphazardly around the room, while it again jumped after Leer, massive legs pistoning it forwards with incredible power and weight, enough to shatter the floor if the beats landed without impacting something on teh way down. It was scratched, and it was pissed.*
...all you can..... manage? Cmon.... hard... try....
*Fragments of scenes played under the cracked ice, Ice's voice a distorted white noise in the background*

Leer smirked as all this hapenned. At least he knew he could score some damage in even his simplest attacks. Still, he needed to get the masks of fhis hands if he wanted to finish this quickly. he couldn't guarantee they wouldn't get harmed f he continued on with them in hand. And he KNEW Ice would do more then just kill him if he broke these things.
Once again throwig Celerity into movement he blurred out of the way, letting a suitable afterimage stand where the beast had intended to gore him, and he made for one of the exit tunnels. He tucked them inside it and threw a dome of ice over them, reinforcing it with shadows. The only way he was gonna' let these things get busted up is if he himself fell here. He could probally slip away now if he wanted, but judging by the beast's size it might try and plow after him now, and the prospect of a few tons of weight suddenly busting after him througha wall wasn't a pleasant one. He'd finish this fight, grab the masks after words and then keep moving.
Now slipping behind the beast, he could see the amount of blood it had lost and decided on a new tactic. Just in case he needed a backup though, he slid into a defensive, liquid stance. Tail hoverring over his shoulder, a loose guard and feet shoulder width apart.
He knew there were liquids in this monster, and he knew how most of them functionned. Afterall, what was a liquid but another form of ice. While it charged forward, he dashed at it's back as it made for his afterimage and threw himself at it's back, aiming to sink his claws as deep into it as he could. He hooves were replaced by long talons midflight to help him hold his sought after grip even better.

*Built the way it was, the beast was slow and lumbering at best, and thus easily frustrated. That did not mean it was entirely stupid however. though confounded once again by Leer's after image, itas thick tail lashed once at his real self, before Leer was up and on its back. Snarling its rage as claws sank into its hide, the beast immediately threw itself backwards, gravity adding to its speed as it tried to slam Leer into he walls, bellowing loud enough to make the room ring with noise*

Taking the initial blow at a bit of surprise, he clung to the flailing limb and pivoted from there to the creature's back. The prospect of a few broken bones was little more then apin in his side at the momment.
He knew he had a bit of time before he'd impact with the walls, and took that time to thrust a hand into the beast's flesh. From there, he introduced a freezing cold. Much as he'd seen Ice change temperatures at a whim, he aimed to replicate on the beast's insides. Frozen blood would tear apart veins and arteries, it might not be an imediate kill, but it should bleed itself out fast enough and begin suffering major problems within a few minutes. Razor shards of ice int he heart, lungs and brain weren't very hospitable situations for most living beings.
He worked the conditions to the best he could before the wall got a little too close for comfort. He waited just a fraction of a second before impact to change states and pull that common vampiric trick of dissipating into a cloud of mist.

*One thing the beast had never had to face before was flesh crafting, save of course for teh day it was made. Countless adventurers had died trying to pierce its thick skeletal structure, its lack of speed inconsequential over time as it simply couldnt be hacked up. But to a resourceful and monstrous Tzimi...
The beast slumped down, howling, then mewling, them whimpering before it expired, leaving Leer free to continue, the path behind him sealing over with ice, the exit corridor with teh masks in branching out into two as it continued. Left and right. In the wall, another scene. Ice and Leer at a table, Ice doodling his chalice picture onto the table, watching Leer's expression, seeing the darknes sin him twist*
...for power. Strength. Are you proud of what you are Leer?

Leer watched with some satisfaction from his lurking position in one of the shaded parts of the far wall. As the beast fell, he jumped from his place to the floor, and walked to the corpse. He bent over it a momment, confirming it's death. Meanwhile, the new scene began playing. He didn't see it start, but FELT it. As it began, he turned to watch as he had last time. His interest caught mostly by the swirling Darkness he could see in his own body..., made ihm wonder what it had come to manifest as in his current self.
Shaking his head and saving the thought for later, he nodded to Ice's question. Even if he couldn't be seen, he knew some how that he was being kept up with.
he bent over the fallen beast once more, and looked at the pools of blood there. His levels reserves weren't low yet, but he'd no clue how long he'd be down here...How long it would take and what he'd meet up with further down the way. That in mind, he removed a suitable section of bone from the creature's structure and quickly made it into a collection of vials. The Fledgling took a momment to drink enough to restore what he'd already lost, then filled the vials with the rest of the salvagable blood. These were strapped across his waist on a band of leather from the creature's flesh. Quick work, but suitable. It should give him enough blood to last a anywhere from a few days longer toa whole week if he rationed it correctly.
Nodding once again to Ice's question, he stood, wiped the blood from his mouth and hands and made sure the vials of fhis hip were at a temperature cold enough to keep from spoiling by casting a thin layer of ice over them. He rolled his neck, and moved to gather the masks once more. Once at the fork in the hallway, he stood a momment longer, and searched for a scent or aura he could follow again. For that matter, a trail of any sort.
